Booked a massage online an hour ahead of the available online scheduled slots, got the confirmation via email, got to the massage place 5:38pm for the 5:45pm supposed scheduled massage although they informed me that they are fully booked till 7pm. Per staff if using online booking we have to book it at least a day before (good to know, although I wish we had that heads up/information somewhere to be informed about it). Last time I have booked a massage a day before only to be called on the day of the massage 2 hours earlier than the supposed scheduled massage if they could move it on a later time which I couldnt agree cause of prior comitments I had for that day so I ended up being cancelled. Scheduling was super easy- I called the day before and secured our appointments for 8/17. The location itself is located in a large shopping center with plenty of parking. The reception area is small with seating for 2. Fast forward to our appt and we both opted for the 90 minute combo- which comprises of a 30 minute foot reflexology massage+ 60 minute body massage. We were seated in a very comfortable room where our feet were placed in perfectly warm water followed by an incredible scalp, shoulder , neck and foot massage. It was so relaxing I could hear hubby snoring! Next we moved into another room where we had a phenomenal head to toe massage. Wendy was my therapist while hubby had Judy. We were thoroughly impressed with both ladies. Their technique was on point, they were professional, and frequently checked on us to ensure we had just the right amount of pressure. I've been dealing with an IT Band injury, which has caused a lot of pain in my hips, knees, and posture. I booked an appointment online and spoke with my message therapist- MIMI (?) about my needs. She went in! She targeted all my areas of pain and helped me to stretch and relax. It was a 10/10 experience. I made an appointment for a 1hour couples deep tissue massage with Wendy and Lily after reading all the positive reviews on Yelp about them -- it was one of the BEST massages I've had in a long time and for a VERY reasonable price! Notes: - Plenty of parking in the town center - You pay upfront before your massage (tip afterwards), they charge $1 if you pay with card (I was charged $2 probably because it was technically 2 massages?) - They do not ask what your pain points are beforehand and just get straight to massaging - They do a full body massage and still find time to do a quick facial at the end + some stretches - They offer punch cards! 9th massage is free! - My only (very minor) gripe was that the blanket was too small so my feet were sticking out and were freezing. The reception area was nice, and they're pleasant upon arrival. The massage room was not the cleanest. The ceiling had water stains & mold & when I moved the circular cloth they put over the face opening, the hole was dirty and had someone's make up where you put your face down in, which tells me they are not changing the fitted sheets in between clients. There was also a piece of metal pressing on my chin during massage which was at times was uncomfortable. During the massage I could hear the next door business music playing through walls & people talking and laughing and I wasn't able to relax.. However, I've had many massages before and I would have to say the massage I got here was the worse massage I've ever had. I was hopeful from the reviews stating some people were good but unfortunately I did not get any of the people mentioned. I was never once relaxed during my massage. Her technique was awful. She spent too much time in certain spots (over and over again) when more areas could have had more focused. The way she was rubbing me was like when you rub your hands together to make heat. She was fast and rough with every stroke. This was on my birthday and I was truly disappointed and highly dissatisfied. From her alone I would not recommend this place.
