Fantastic experience I needed an eye appointment ASAP and they were able get me in that day . Extremely happy with this office.

Appointment made for 9 am on 3/20/22. Get to the appointment early by 15 minutes. It's now 11 am and still waiting for a doctor to evaluate results because they are running behind. 120 minutes behind? Unprofessional, unacceptable and unbelievable. Should have rescheduled all patients for this morning with a courtesy call. After early arrival informed that it's new practice and all new insurance forms need to be filled out -- these were filled out for the prior practice in the past. No problem fill out forms. Takes an elderly 71 year old a few minutes to fill out new forms. Now it's after 9 am by a few minutes and oh it's going to be delayed because forms were late. Cool. One hour goes by. Nothing. 3 more minute go by, nothing. Lobby is teaming with people waiting to see the doctor. Like there aren't 100's of other docs in a 25 mile radius. 11 am, elderly lady 71 years old is still waiting to be examined by the doctor. Incredible that this is allowed in 2023 with every technology around to inform patients of delays. Please re-evaluate your scheduling practices. You are serving humans and these same humans have to wait 2 hours for an appointment. They also have other things to do. Once again, incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable. When asking the front office staff what the hold up is, they offer to reschedule after having waited 1.5 hours ..... unreal. read more

Came in to update both my contacts and glasses Rx. After I left I realized they gave me a comprehensive exam but never refracted my eyes. Isn't that the whole point for updating my glasses and contacts? I was pretty clear on this. I'm disappointed that now I have to go to another Dr's. office and spend more for something I already paid for but didn't receive... Not handed my Rx from the Dr. In fact I had to ask for it at the checkout window before leaving where a tech looked it up and wrote it for me. Is it legal for a tech to sign a Dr's. Rx pad? I hope I got the right one... Plan on waiting. I arrived on time for a 10:00 apt. and was seen at 10:40. How do you get backed up 40 minutes at 10:00am? Just another cow in the stampede of cattle... Even the people ahead of me were mumbling about it too. Staff is job myopic, if it's not their job they don't care. Be prepared to leave a voicemail even during business hours. The Tech was prompt about returning my call though. On my last visit two years ago they did things out of order so I had to come back the next day. They dilated my eyes before they did the refraction. Do they not know what order things have to happen in? I've been going here for over 15 yrs but I won't be returning. read more

Incredible slow staff no doc insight for at least a full hour! The wait was terrible and the receptionists were rude couldn't care less about making you wait. People are sitting in waiting areas - yes they have 2! Don't come to this place it's not worth the wait. The doctors should be ashamed of themselves for even being in practice and not caring about the people they hire to run the office. Apparently the doctors are just as bad because who would spend the money to have a practice that obviously doesn't function well at all! Wish I could give a negative 1 star! read more

It took well over a week and hundreds of phone calls to get records faxed to my father's new eye doctor after he moved. They don't return calls. They would not email me the release and insisted it had to be faxed even though it had no HIPPA information. It was a blank form to complete! I am retired and don't have a fax. Finally got it faxed to my husband's work and it was completely illegible. I got online and the form was available for downloading! Faxed the form and naturally they didn't get it. I am well over a week into this nightmare and still don't have the information faxed to the new doctor.......don't go here! read more

The Flower Mound office was horrible - first appointment- made over 2 weeks ago - and it wasn't scheduled correctly. Doctor we needed to see wasn't even in the office. For some reason out of 4 doctors only 1 works with contacts. RUDE staff - doesn't apologize for their incompetence - just tell us to take a seat - when they realize we are there to see a doctor who isn't in the office. I hear one woman say to another girl, who was trying to be helpful, 'that is just too bad, they will have to come back". She then yells my daughters name through the window (never bothering to get out of her chair) and tell's her, "You will need to reschedule and go to the Frisco office'. Oh I think NOT!! If you can't make an appointment correctly and are rude on top of everything else, we will go elsewhere. I should have known when we walked in and the first thing we heard was someone complaining about the wait time. The office seems to think they are the only game in town and we have to take it. NOPE - been driving to Dallas for healthcare for years - another trip or 2 won't hurt. I was just trying to use local doctors. read more

Horrible lack of customer service - one example...You arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment (they ask you to come 15 minutes early) and fill out forms. You turn them in and sit for an hour with other senior citizens- who all were early too. You ask why the delay and get an immediate response that the technician will let you know when it's your turn. You wait. No one is called. You ask again - tell me how much more of a delay can I expect? They look annoyed and because you're a nuisance they look at each other, roll their eyes and take you back. What a shame and lost excuse for front office. Complete disrespect and scorn for patients. I am sick over this. read more

The WORST eye doctor experience I have ever had! I came here to see Dr. Stephen Ku for floaters. He seemed to talk down to me and had very little patience for answering questions. He told me to look up answers online myself! If I wanted to look up my own answers, then I wouldn't have bothered coming to see him. To think that Dr. Ku is one of the founders... doesn't speak very highly of the entire practice. If he feels that his patients are just wasting his precious time, then he really shouldn't be in this business! His receptionists are not much better. They clearly told me an appointment time and when I showed up, nobody was there. Then, they claimed that they would never have given me that time because they do not accept appointments then. Not only did they not admit their mistake, but they did not apologize for the inconvenience caused. Maybe handling three locations is too much work for this group. I will be taking my business elsewhere, and I will not be recommending this group to any of my friends and family. Avoid at all costs! read more

I have been seeing Dr. Steven Elieff for over 10 years and although I think he is an extremely competent doctor the wait time is atrocious. The Lewisville and Flower Mound locations are a minimum 1/2 hour wait. This last visit would have been my last to see him before moving out of state but after 45 minutes I left without ever seeing the doctor. Find another practice. read more

I was referred to this practice by previous coworkers and was told they have a great reputation. Well this is my second visit to this practice and you hear staff talking about patients HIPPA violation. If you want everybody that visits there to know your business go see them. I've been seeing Dr. Elieff since I was in High School and I'm now in my 30's. Great Doc and Staff. I highly recommend.

We are new to the practice and saw Dr. Raj Gupta in the Plano office. He and is staff were pretty amazing in a sense of being patient with my mother in law and father. They took their time and explained in detail what was causing the vision loss my father was dealing with and the cataracts my mother in law did not knew she had. He also did not try to force us into buying glasses or having a surgery, just gave us the information and let us decide. We were pleasantly surprised with the way they answered our questions and while there was a short wait, when do you ever go to the doctor and not have some waiting time. When it was our turn with the doctor he was kind and explained things in a way we could understand them. Well be back next year for sure. Thanks Dr. Gutpa read more

I have a left eye prosthetic and as a result have great concern with my one eye. I have seen a multitude of eye doctors over many years allover the country. Dr. Gupta in my opinion is one of the best I have encountered. He never cuts you short and I believe he truly has the patients concern in mind. I hear people complain about the wait time? I have not been to a highly regarded eye physician that did not have a wait! Also I hear many older people complain, I am retired and wonder what these people are in such a hurry to do nothing?? I would and have recommended Dr. Gupta to anyone and everyone I encounter looking for an excellent eye doctor! read more

If you like waiting a minimum of 2 to 3 weeks for an appointment; if you like being given an appointment time and then having to wait an additional hour then North Dallas Eye is RIGHT for you. Dr. Steven Elieff and his staff will NEVER schedule you without scheduling multiple appointments at the same time. Even if you are just picking something up, bring a book and a lunch and bring your patience. They will NEVER apologize and they will NEVER have the courtesy to tell you to delay your visit. As the other individual said in their review, the receptionist staff is unpleasant and I personally think they enjoy giving the consumer/patient a difficult time because they know they have no value to offer. read more

Please stay away from this office. I saw Dr. Agarwal last year, twice. and the office, even though were in network, have not filed the insurance claims. I had to call several times and they do not take calls. After finally getting through to them, the lady initially refused to share the info and then finally emailed me the summary of my charges which showed my portion of the payments. I then went and called my Insurance company and also printed the online summary of my claims last year as I did have many doctors visits all through the year and did not find any claims from this office. If they had sent the claims this could have gone towards my deductible. This could have made a difference in my out of pocket payment after meeting a high deductible for the year. They should be sending the claims and they did not. This is part of their job when they say they are in network and accept insurance. If you do visit this office make sure you follow up with your insurance claims. I am not going back to them. read more

I went to Dr. W. Steven Ku (23-AUG-2019) for a second opinion about fluid leaking out of my right eye after a cornea transplant by a different doctor (Dr. Gregory Nettune). My eye was filling up with fluid leaking from my right eye, dripping down my cheek, by merely squinting, and there were also flashes of light too when blinking. As a result, the pressure in the right eye had fallen to 7mmHg (normal is 12-to-22mmHG). Yet, Dr. W. Steven Ku said "I don't think it is leaking". Dr. Steven Ku was wrong. It was leaking, which explains why the eye pressure had fallen to 7mmHg, and explains the excessive fluid in the right eye. My right eye had been leaking for 32 days, which risks infection inside the eye, and other complications. Dr. W. Steven Ku failed miserably to identify a loose cornea that was leaking. The original doctor was also negligent in not listening to me when I called about fluid in my eye and flashes of light, and refusing to see me until 33 days later, and subsequently add 3 stitches back 6 days later (40 days after removing last 8 stitches). read more

Front desk staff is very rude. We were given an appointment time and arrived on time yet had to wait over 2 hours before we were even seen. When we tried to ask the front desk about it they didn't seem to care at all. read more

Staff has very poor communication! Never will we return. Only was seen by doctor for initial exam, not for contact fitting. They wanted to charge us for contact samples and shipping cost. Was told contacts were ordered, only to call a week after to find out they were never even ordered. So frustrated!!! read more

Love this place! They really do care about the patients and even though you may wait to see the doctor they will not cut you off and make sure all questions are answered thoroughly. I enjoy speaking with Dr. Gupta and his staff are the best in town. read more
