All 3 of my kiddos have been seeing Dr. Chris for about 10 years.... Started in sugar hill and moved out to the Braselton Office. We've had a couple different insurances and even paid out of pocket to stay when our insurance changed because we love Dr. Chris so much but this is the second time one of my kids has been scheduled more than our allotted 2 times a year for a cleaning per our insurance and have no idea why we were scheduled that way. I thought it was an honest mistake.. but now it's happened again and I've been trying to get a hold of someone to find out why and make sure they are more careful so this doesn't happen again and I've gotten the run around and haven't received calls back for MONTHS. Meanwhile the charges keep racking up because every time they send a bill it's an additional $10 charge. !!!MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT SCHEDULED MORE THAN YOUR INSURANCE WILL COVER!!! Now I'm having to pay for an extra visit out of pocket because of a mistake on their end. read more

Received $400 bill for cleaning they scheduled out of regular service schedule since our secondary insurance was not in place for this year. They did NOT confirm insurance benefits before our service was completed. Even though I agreed to pay their $400 bill, I agreed to $10 each month until Jan when my HSA is funded and they just sent me a notice that says 30 days past due. I'm so ever these people. They just want your money and the owner will NOT return your calls. read more

Dr. Chris and his team have one of the best pediatric practices in the area. With that said, they do get very busy and have limited days when their Braselton location is open on limited days and kids under 5 are only seen in the morning. Most of the time, we do wait 10-15 minutes after our scheduling appointment time to be called back. At times we do feel rushed, but the kids do get their X-rays done and my kids have very healthy teeth. We also got my son off sucking his thumb from this practice in 2-3 months after sucking his thumb for almost 3 years. Pre-covid the waiting room and waiting area inside was fun with games and light walls, but now they are limited. They have a prize wall too, after the kids' appointment. The seating arrangement for cleaning and consult is mainly chairs in a circle in 1 large room, so hygienists and dentists can move around. Somehow we always owe 50 dollars when taking our child to this place. He's 5. They brush his teeth no better than I do at home and take a peak in his mouth to tell me "good job". He hasn't allowed them to do X-rays. So what in the world are we being charged for when our insurance covers cleanings two times a year?!!? We took the same child to Amy Cates Dentistry in Buford (amazing dentist) and they did a pano X-ray and cleaned his teeth and we owed nothing. Again, our insurance covers two cleanings a year for everyone in the family...and we've never been charged...not going back. read more

Took my 2yr old son for his first dental appt here and I couldn't have been more happier. I arrived 30 mins prior to my appt time so my son could feel out the place and not freak out since it was his first time. They ended up calling us back earlier than our scheduled time and we were in and out within 25 mins. Atmosphere is inviting and clean. Tori did a wonderful job cleaning my son's teeth and knew the right words to make him comfortable. Dr. Chris was excellent and staff was very kind. Will be back for our follow up visit! read more

UPDATE FROM MY PREVIOUS REVIEW. Can you believe that North Georgia Pediatric Dentistry had the audacity to have their clinic manager Sara, text me and ask if I'd REMOVE my review!!! Let me fill in a blank here.....When I told their clinic manager Sara, that we no longer are needing their dental services she stated," Well if you ever have any little issues we can help your daughter with feel free to still come here for that." After we text back and forth a couple times today she did call me. She said, "I'm sorry for that request and I understand it and I don't want you to think I'd ask that of you." So obviously ding ding ding that tells me somebody told her to do this. Yep, "the higher management" requested this. I proceeded to tell her I will now go farther to get the word out about our experience here for special needs children. Sara then said, "Well if you do that ,I can't see anybody welcoming you to this practice for any kind of issues if they are needed. Wow, just wow!!!! Pretty standard pedi-dentist office. They have some games and movies in the lobby and it's a good thing. You will wait. You will wait a long time. Would be nice if they were more concerned with keeping appointment times. But I guess that's healthcare. Overbook and under-deliver. read more

BEWARE! Absolute horrible experience with this practice all around. Dentist unnecessarily misdiagnosed 5 cavities for just one and insisted on an expensive brand of toothpaste that was not needed for my child. Had no idea what he was talking about. Staff harassed me 3 times in one day for the fluoride payment that really wasn't needed, and were extremely rude. When I called back to make appointment for the cavity fillings, I expressed my concern that we went from no cavities ever with routine cleanings to 5 overnight and maybe should see another dentist within the practice just to confirm. I was advised rudely "well you can do whatever you want to do..." Hung up and immediately sought a second opinion that confirmed only 1 cavity with the same images taken and used by this office, and no expensive toothpaste was needed (was advised they hadn't even heard of it). Cost me additional $ to get another opinion but worth it. Practice is a money grab and does not practice conservative treatment for kids. See them at your own risk. read more

Best pediatric dentist ever! We've seen Dr Chris, Dr Kayla and Dr Belinda various times and they are all amazing and make every child feel comfortable and at ease. This place is very kid friendly with tv's above every chair for each child and a huge light bright wall for the kids to play with. Dr. Chris and his whole staff are wonderful. They're great with kids and both of my girls love coming here. My older daughter (5) even had to have a couple cavities filled in her baby teeth and had a good experience! The building is clean and new. The waiting room has a tv, some gaming systems and bright comfortable chairs. The exam area is bright and has individual TVs at each chair. There are some more private side rooms but the main room has like 5-6 chairs in a circle set up for cleanings. In the main area there is a giant "lite brite" wall (for those familiar with the term) and a ton of toys which my littles love. It means if you have to come with multiple children on your own there is something to entertain them while they wait their turn! My girls often don't want to leave haha. There is also a rather good "prize wall" they get to select a toy from when they leave, and they always get a balloon too. They accept a lot of insurances too. I find that they were a bit more expensive for the fillings my daughter had done (or my insurance just stinks haha) because they only do ceramic fillings and they heavily recommend laughing gas to help with nerves/pain on younger patients (neither of which my insurance covers) but not only do my girls not hate going to the dentist, they actually look forward to it! I live in lawrenceville but it is so worth the drive out to Braselton for my son. The office staff are so friendly and always make my son feel super welcome and happy. They keep him calm and relaxed every time. There are so many amenities to keep the kiddos busy here while they wait. They have TVs, coloring , toys and video game systems in the waiting room. They even have a Keurig with many options for parents to have a nice drink while they wait as well. It gets better inside the office where the kids have the opportunity to play even more in between getting their teeth checked out . I love that they make the kids feel like they are in a play space and not in a scary dentist. Kids can also watch tv in the ceiling while they are getting their teeth cleaned etc. the dentist is always super friendly and knowledgeable and takes the time out to let you know what's going on. When the kids are gone, they're always given a toothbrush , toothpaste, floss and some other little goodies like a balloon and a take away toy. My son loves going to the dentist now because of this office ! read more

Dr. Chris and his staff are beyond amazing! This is the first dentist my 2 year old son has went to, and I was a little worried about how he'd do. The staff made him feel comfortable and were so friendly. He was hesitant to sit in the patient chair, so they had a quiet "play room" for us to be seen in instead, so that he wasn't scared. Dr. Chris had a lot of positive energy and made our visit fun! He was very knowledgeable and a perfect person to be a pediatric dentist! We had to come back to get a tooth sealed, and my son was upset while getting it done. The hygienist followed up with us later in the day to make sure he was doing well, and I really appreciated her taking the time to call me. read more

Lack of customer service. I visited the site and was extremely impressed and couldn't wait to make an appointment. Unfortunately, when I called I didn't receive the customer service experience that I would have hoped for. I was told that my son could not be seen in the afternoon and that it was a set policy, mostly because it was complimentary. I stated that I would be fine to pay a fee if we could work to have it scheduled in the afternoon, that did not seem to help. She then stated that it had to do with babies/younger children being cranky and tired in the afternoon, which I understood; however, one could argue that babies can be cranky at any point during the day. At this point, I asked if anything at could be done and how I felt like her at least checking into it would show excellent customer service. She continued to loop the conversation back to it being a policy and was overall not helpful. I was very disappointed at her lack of support and professionalism. What she didn't realize is that had she met me halfway I would have been more than happy to adhere to this policy going forward, I just need for her to show some flexibility for this initial visit. Additionally, my husband and I try to schedule our son's appointments so that we both can be present, which greatly limits the options; however, up until this point we have been able to make it work. read more

This practice exceeded my expectations! I can't recommend Dr. Chris and his staff strongly enough!

Coming from a dentist we were disappointed by, we did not realize how much better a dentist could be. Dr Chris is compassionate, competent and willing to educate/talk to parents and most importantly interact with my child. He doesn't strap children in and uses just a little gas and always smiles. My daughter now ask when she can go back even after getting a cavity filled. But I was upset I was charged an initial consultation fee of $149, I think the staff should of advised me on the phone/prior and not at checkout, just never been charged for dental consultation for possible 2 new clients. We love this dentist and the new kid friendly facility. As long as my children are happy is what counts though. read more

I have been a patient for years and recently had the pleasure of shadowing him for the summer and see how the office run behind the scenes.
