UPDATE FROM MY PREVIOUS REVIEW. Can you believe that North Georgia Pediatric Dentistry had the audacity to have their clinic manager Sara, text me and ask if I'd REMOVE my review!!! Let me fill in a blank here.....When I told their clinic manager Sara, that we no longer are needing their dental services she stated," Well if you ever have any little issues we can help your daughter with feel free to still come here for that." After we text back and forth a couple times today she did call me. She said, "I'm sorry for that request and I understand it and I don't want you to think I'd ask that of you." So obviously ding ding ding that tells me somebody told her to do this. Yep, "the higher management" requested this. I proceeded to tell her I will now go farther to get the word out about our experience here for special needs children. Sara then said, "Well if you do that ,I can't see anybody welcoming you to this practice for any kind of issues if they are needed. Wow, just wow!!!! Don't forget y'all the name of this ANTI-Special Needs dental clinic is NORTH GEORGIA PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY! I'm just going to attach that text message to this!

Dr. Chris and his whole staff are wonderful. They're great with kids and both of my girls love coming here. My older daughter (5) even had to have a couple cavities filled in her baby teeth and had a good experience! The building is clean and new. The waiting room has a tv, some gaming systems and bright comfortable chairs. The exam area is bright and has individual TVs at each chair. There are some more private side rooms but the main room has like 5-6 chairs in a circle set up for cleanings. In the main area there is a giant "lite brite" wall (for those familiar with the term) and a ton of toys which my littles love. It means if you have to come with multiple children on your own there is something to entertain them while they wait their turn! My girls often don't want to leave haha. There is also a rather good "prize wall" they get to select a toy from when they leave, and they always get a balloon too. They accept a lot of insurances too. I find that they were a bit more expensive for the fillings my daughter had done (or my insurance just stinks haha) because they only do ceramic fillings and they heavily recommend laughing gas to help with nerves/pain on younger patients (neither of which my insurance covers) but not only do my girls not hate going to the dentist, they actually look forward to it! Definite win.

I live in lawrenceville but it is so worth the drive out to Braselton for my son. The office staff are so friendly and always make my son feel super welcome and happy. They keep him calm and relaxed every time. There are so many amenities to keep the kiddos busy here while they wait. They have TVs, coloring , toys and video game systems in the waiting room. They even have a Keurig with many options for parents to have a nice drink while they wait as well. It gets better inside the office where the kids have the opportunity to play even more in between getting their teeth checked out . I love that they make the kids feel like they are in a play space and not in a scary dentist. Kids can also watch tv in the ceiling while they are getting their teeth cleaned etc. the dentist is always super friendly and knowledgeable and takes the time out to let you know what's going on. When the kids are gone, they're always given a toothbrush , toothpaste, floss and some other little goodies like a balloon and a take away toy. My son loves going to the dentist now because of this office !

My reading speaks for itself. They are rude, and very argumentative with parents of their patients.

Best pediatric dentist around. The doctors and staff are awesome. I wouldn't send my kid anywhere else.

I had an appointment scheduled for our kids and they called my spouse (not me) to confirm the appointment. They gave her a deadline of 61 minutes to confirm the appointment and then canceled it. Message left at 9:59 am, appointment canceled at 11 on a Tuesday. I called several times but voicemails were full and not accepting messages. When I finally spoke to somebody they didn't care at all and offered appointments three months later. They made it very clear that it was our fault for not confirming our upcoming appointment in the 61 minute window they gave us. We signed forms to transfer our records to another pediatric dentist, submitted them and they never did it despite confirming receipt of the request. Our new pediatric dentist called Kwons for the records several times and finally got somebody to actually answer. They introduced themselves and said they needed to request our records, Kwons office just hung up on them and didn't even talk to our new dentist! We had to redo X-rays at the new dentist that had been done two months earlier at Kwons because they have not transferred the records. Unprofessional doesn't even begin to describe our experiences at Kwons. Dr Kwon should really look at his staff and realize that his name and reputation are directly tied to their attitudes, patient treatment, and actions (or lack of). Go elsewhere and save yourself the headache of this place.

Instead of treating my child's chipped tooth they referred me to another dentist who is doing the same treatment. Even the new dentist I called and scheduled with even stated that it sounded as if they didn't want the headache of treating my child because she needs cosmetic surgery done. Very selfish on their part to help us or even work with us on this issue. Their front staff are very snappy and rude. And a dentist there got very upset that my teen daughter wouldn't talk to her and took it personal. My daughter suffers from anxiety. I thought this was petty coming from a pediatric doctor... I would not use Kwon Pediactric Dentistry if you can help it! Obviously building good relationships with their patients is not a priority! Very Sad!!

This facility did not confirm our benefits before a service and we were charged $400 for cleanings since they called to say our secondary insurance didn't pay (which we don't have this year). The first insurance wouldn't pay for the cleaning because 6 months hadn't passed and they did not inform us of this at the time of service - my kids teeth are in great condition and they did not need another cleaning. Too bad my husband took them this day - otherwise I'd have refused service - why are you completing work that's not warranted anyway? Even though I have agreed to pay this bill, that due to their negligence, they had the nerve to send me a 30 days past due notice. I'd already agreed with these people that I would pay $10 each month until January when my HSA was funded and they AGREED to this plan. Stay away from these people unless you just like being over charged, over serviced and just want to throw money away. I contacted the owner to look into this and my call was not returned.

From the moment that I called and spoke to Anna to make the appointment to walking in the door and meeting her, and everything in between until she waved goodbye, it was as dental-delight. The hygienist, the dentist, and Anna were all friendly, informative, and efficient, and the office itself was clean and orderly. As a new patient (and a 2 year old, at that) my daughter was treated with kindness to make her first cleaning anything but the traumatic tears that I was half-expecting out of her. Last week I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Vo.
