After going back and forth for over an hour because they "could not find dental coverage for my son" due to a blatant error on their part that I corrected over and over, my children and I left. She got us checked in quickly and helped put us at ease. My son needed to be sedated through an IV for his dental procedure due to his sensory needs, and as any special needs parent knows, that can be incredibly overwhelming. Dr. Paris was absolutely amazing. She took the time to explain everything thoroughly, answered all of my questions, and never once made me feel judged. Because of my son's sensory challenges, brushing his teeth has always been a struggle. Unfortunately, he needed eight crowns and three extractions**. As a parent, it's easy to feel like you've somehow failed your child in moments like these, but not one person on this team made me feel ashamed or uncomfortable. Instead, they treated us with compassion, understanding, and genuine kindness. After the procedure, Cindy, the recovery nurse, was equally incredible. I'm a single mom and didn't have anyone with me that day. She was so patient, caring, and even helped me get my son safely to the car.
