Long story short his concern led to her pediatrician (who had to clear her for surgery) sending her to an ear nose and throat specialist. There's a movie room to keep your children occupied while waiting, or adults waiting for their kids. He does such a great job, when my daughter had 8 cavities (yes, 8, oops), he took care of it swiftly and she had no issues. In the new office, they have a gold coin to give to them where they can pick from several candy ball-like machines as a prize. You are stuck paying for the private room and front desk can't do anything about it. This feels unethical and not in the best interest of your patients. Every other dental office will offer you a private room due to hipaa and osha ( this is a clear violation) and not charge additional. The only difference is there is a door here and not a partition. At this office they make it so the chairs sit SO close together like in a dental college ( a dental bay is a clear osha violation) - that naturally the parent will request that private room bc all it takes is one crying child to scare the others. Either way, you do have to agree to it so it's not a secret either but again feels off and completely on purpose! This area is like the, "nicest," in the neighborhood I guess and the other offices around are pretty old, making it so that these type of businesses provide care in a different way, more like you're a number and not a person. The slide and toys are nice but not what most important here. It's too bad bc Dr.Diaz was very kind and the hygienists were lovely as well. Ultimately, I thought maybe I was not the target audience until the office manager called me back to smooth things over and never acknowledged the issue. She went out of her way to tell me why the have private rooms while still not addressing that the issue is they lock you into a room you have to pay $100 additional for and therefore cant even book a regular appt without their permission, the dr didn't bother to call me and Elaina even admitted there were no notes from Dr saying my son had to stay in private room. Everytime I come in the dentist has not a clue about my history. I have come in with a history of abscesses and a history of jaw surgeries and the dentist I saw does not do anything. They examine and send me back where I came from. I am always being sent to other offices, they are reluctant to even prescribe and antibiotic even with my history. I have left every time frustrated, in pain, and unsure what to do because they don't hear me. She answered my questions about insurance and was able to fit me in that afternoon due to a cancellation. When I arrived, I checked in with Jessie who had a personality that was welcoming, friendly, and very bubbly. Together Isabelle and Jessie were a dream team and went above and beyond for me. Both ladies had such positive attitudes, were so respectful to one another with the kind words they used when interacting with one another and the other patients. I met with Dr. Cho who was very timely, direct, informative, and suggested an immediate plan of action. Dr. Cho answered all of my questions thoroughly and allowed me to me to feel at ease and I instantly felt very confident snd comfortable with my upcoming surgery. The team was able to fit me in right before Christmas, as opposed to having to wait until January, which was beyond appreciated. Jessie stayed late to call insurance companies, after her work hours and even called me to give me an update on what to expect. This is unheard of in a world of mediocre at best service and communication. Jessie's clear communication and immediate follow-up were amazing! She scheduled my procedure for the following day, amazingly! Another member of the team called me to follow up after the procedure was completed to see how I was feeling and asked did I have any questions or concerns since arriving home. Together the team resolved my issue and made it such a positive experience. Overall, this team was amazing and such a blessing to me! The first insurance wouldn't pay for the cleaning because 6 months hadn't passed and they did not inform us of this at the time of service - my kids teeth are in great condition and they did not need another cleaning. Too bad my husband took them this day - otherwise I'd have refused service - why are you completing work that's not warranted anyway? Even though I have agreed to pay this bill, that due to their negligence, they had the nerve to send me a 30 days past due notice. I'd already agreed with these people that I would pay $10 each month until January when my HSA was funded and they AGREED to this plan. Stay away from these people unless you just like being over charged, over serviced and just want to throw money away. I contacted the owner to look into this and my call was not returned.

It took 5 months to get back the OSHA fees and LAB fees which were fraudulently billed by the old owners. So sad that they took advantage of in-network additional billing that was not allowed. Old owners just ignored it but the new doc did the right thing! I hope this practice learns from this experience and treats patients the right way without tacky billing ideas.
