I wish I never stumbled on them. They don't really care about the person at all, they just care about the money they can take from you. They will charge you $50 bucks for 48hr cancelation fee regardless of the situation, you can be on your death bed and they don't care, pay up and then add insult to injury by telling you to have a nice day! it's ridiculous! read more

Very inconsiderate of families that all of a sudden have sickness pop up the day of an appointment..

Why does a dentist need your Social Security number? That is not something I'd ever heard of. The Cedarbrook dentists office staff insisted that it was for insurance billing purposes and that it was a state law. I called my insurance and they informed me they didn't need it. Member ID and Group number are all they need. I went into Cedarbrook for my appointment and informed them my insurance doesn't need the Social Security number. The office staff insisted. When I said that wasn't true, she gave me the real reason and informed me that Cedarbrook uses the Social Security number for collection agency purposes - just in case your insurance doesn't cover all of the billing. I decided to walk out as I think Cedarbrook is using deception to get information from their clients. read more

First off the front lady was very rude. I told her I was sick and needed to reschedule due to my pregnancy, although it was short notice because of the holiday and the weekend. She had informed me that I would need to pay $50 for the late cancelation which was not a problem but the way she was speaking to me was very rude. I also had a filling but in the place they worked on a chunk of my tooth came off, other than that i've had no problem. read more

Please... "do yourself a favor." My heartfelt appreciation to the entire staff at Cedarbrook Dental. To my horror, I recently suffered an embarrassing (and completely unanticipated) "bridge failure" leaving me looking quite Haalloweenish. I quickly accepted the counsel provided by several local dental professionals and called the Cedarbrook Dental team. Once again, the value of a stellar reputation paid off handsomely. The entire staff was amazing; and I felt an instant affinity. The highpoint of my experience was none other than Dr. Peter Elton himself. Not only did he immediately (& compassionately) address my embarrassing dilemma, he met me at 6am the very next morning, on his scheduled day off mind you, to completely re-install a brand new temporary bridge which instantly returned my confidence and smile. My permanent fixture is being built as I write and I can't tell you how appreciative I am for the kindness and compassion each member of the Cedarbrook team showed. Quite frankly, on a scale of 1-10, I'd definitely assess The Cedarbrook Dental group a score of 12.5!!! First off, I hate going to the dentist. That being said, I highly recommend this location. I had an old filling go bad and ultimately had to get my tooth pulled. I felt very well taken care of at this office. I still do not like going to the dentist, yet I also know that it is something that is necessary. How about this, AFTER my appointments, I have been happy to have put the care of my mouth in the hands of those at Cedarbrook. read more

My first (and not last) time to Cedarbook Dental was to establish care. What a wonderful experience! EVERYONE , from the front/check in desk, to the hygienist, to Dr. Elton, were super friendly and seemed grateful to be providing my dental care. Start to finish, explained everything thoroughly, went over my dental benefits, pre-auth for procedures, x-rays, and every step of the exam/cleaning. The entire team is very professional, accommodating, and thorough. Office space was pleasant and warm. I've had several dentists over the years, and am actually excited (who says that about their dentist?!) to have found this practice! read more

After receiving a call from Doctor Elton, we were able to resolve my issues and have completed my care for my broken tooth. I was very happy with the care and results. Unfortunately, we're not giving the 1 start to the dentist . We're giving it to the staff . Specifically, the front staff and office manager Tina. We were set up on a payment plan and the last payment never got processed because, someone was out of town . I called a week later after I noticed to tell them to run it the following week . They however didn't run it. By the time I realized it it was already 1/2 way through the next week . Another week went by and nothing . I didn't worry about it because, it's not my job . Three weeks went by and I get a phone call from a front desk staff saying, we're going to run your card for x amount . I said, no . I'll be in next Friday to pay it . You guys missed it for 3 weeks now and I'm unsure why when I called the first time you missed it . She said ok, no problem . However , I checked my bank account and they still ran my card without my authorization . Past our written dates written on our financial agreement form . When I called to address this issue Tina (office manager ) was unprofessional saying they would send me to collections , because I didn't come in This FRIDAY . When I stated on the phone with another front desk lady I'd be in next Friday . She then went on about how I better be there Friday or she's sending it off to Collections . However , the account hasn't been up to date . As I called after a few months noticing we weren't receiving any statements after we got our EOB from our dental insurance . At the time the previous office manager said . They hadn't gotten anything for us yet . Then a couple months went by and I called again and spoke to same front desk lady and read me my address which was incorrectly put Into the computer system . Also, to find out that previous manager was gone and that seemed to be an issue that things weren't getting done . So to be threatened about going to collection for the lack of all these events is insane to me . However , just because 1 person is gone shouldn't stop a whole office from processing a payment . I made a payment over the phone in the amount of xx dollars and it was never applied to the account . And I called to say, I made the payment . But, based of your statement you didn't apply it . Front desk response was , oh she didn't know how to do it . So once again, they will take the money . But, uncertain where to apply it . To me it's just upsetting and needs to be addressed. We've chosen to go elsewhere, because of the front staff . Not because the doctor or the back stuff is awesome. But, your front desk is people's first impression and we've not been impressed at all. UPDATE ; Since this conversation. We have talked to Dr.Elton several times . He has left messages and voicemails on both mine and my husbands phone. It sounds like he is sincerely sorry for the experience we have been given . However , I don't feel it changed our over all experience . And it took us to write a review to actually speak to him . Even when we had asked to speak to him and his office manager just kept saying he wasn't in. Our issue like the comment above said . We didn't discredit the Doctor and his work. It's not something I will remove my review for . It's honest and straight to the point . read more
