The hotel is mildly convenient, not far off I-91,…read moreis laid back in vibe as you arrive in the parking lot, but kinda uppity when you walk in the hotel lobby and check-in, they did greet me upon entering, had me fill out my personal information on special information screen which irritated me because I especially took the time to fill out the SAME information in an email from the hotel the day before arriving so that I wouldn't have to do it again, the hotel one elevator was in need of significant renovation and cleaning and was very slow up to my top/5th floor of the hotel, the hotel hallway on the 5th floor was very nicely decorated, my room was very nice, big, had two comfy chairs to sit on, and a couch!, very comfy bed with 4 comfy pillows, nice bathroom, but the room had not been thoroughly cleaned, A/C worked well, the room had plenty of working lights, irritated that the hotel did not attend to my need to print out my boarding passes for today (they were too busy), nice pool and hottub, and okay little fitness room that I did use, average breakfast, but no bread provided to go with the scrambled eggs, and the seating area outside was a nice extra touch, and I was glad to get my room at this hotel for just $104 on a super Booking.com special as an elite member.

Really should not be in a customer service facing position. The hotel was pretty dirty. There were mystery fluids on the floor of the elevators for an entire day that weren't cleaned... and they only have 2 elevators. The AC is also motion activated so I hope you enjoy waking up hot in the night and the room being hot each time you come back to the room. This place is just extremely cheap... you're better off at the Motel 6. We were on a road trip and wanted to utilize the laundry facilities but ended up paying $24 for 2 loads due to the driers not drying at all. The rooms themselves were fine overall, could definitely hear our neighbors having a good time in the next room over through!

You get fresh baked daily cookies and a welcome snack bag on check in. The room has very comfy beds and an awesome spa-like shower. The show stopper though is the full size massage chair pod in the room instead of a recliner. Relaxing before work and after work has never been easier! Only downside is they have these toy sized fridges in the room that only hold 2-3 16oz bottles of water. We bought a bunch of snacks etc before checking in and had to keep them cold in a cooler because the fridge was so tiny. In the morning they alternate baking cinnamon rolls or croissants and leave them by the coffee station. Half of me wants to tell everyone this place exists and half of me doesn't so that I can always have a brand new room!

Unfortunately after a day of driving and having to drive again the next morning I needed to charge again and someone else was parked in spot not charging. Obviously not hotels fault but most places do have a sign parking for EV cars while charging. The room was overall clean and walking in you notice that they tried to use some "Modern" technology. The massaging chair was a real bonus, but unfortunately ours didn't work properly. Instead of peep hole I think they installed cameras with a screen on inside of door. Our screen didn't work at all. Again not a deal breaker. It was just a little disappointing to have these amenities and not have them work. With that being said yes I would stay here again. It was clean and newly renovated. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby. It definitely worked for what we needed for a couple nights.

We sat in the parlor room and the chairs were all torn up- terrible! We wanted coffee and went to the front desk where the clerk was playing solitaire. When we asked if there was coffee or hot cocoa we were told to go to the bar and order it and it would be delivered to us- we were surprised that she didn't stand up and offer to take care of it for us. Customer service training should be a focus. There are a lot of places to stay and we should feel that we made the right choice in staying here and spending money here but we don't. Hopefully employee training as well as some repairs will be done so that customers can benefit.

When we checked in at 2 AM, exhausted from our cross-country trip, and a one hour drive, the receptionist sent us to the wrong wing, and when I went downstairs, he sent me back up, saying I just didn't see it. I had to go down and have him come upstairs to help us find our room only to discover it wasn't where he sent us at all. Next, there was no bottled water in the entire building, not to buy or what is customarily complementary in a hotel of this price range The very polite guy went onto explain that it was because they hadn't received their shipment of water. I'm confused because I sure did pass Walmart, Target a grocery store and a Trader Joe's just minutes from here. But alas no one thought to go get water. Their parking lot is a four minute walk from the hotel. You may hit the jackpot and get one of the 45 spots right in front of the hotel. We didn't. Boo!! Also, they are saving money by not cleaning the rooms daily. I think that's BS but it would've at least been nice for them to tell us a check in. I found a gray hair on the comforter which was not ours. Gross!!! They do have a fancy, highfaluting Molecule air filter that I did not steal. I don't love this place and I wouldn't recommend it for any other reason then if you were spending multiple days on campus. If I come again, I will request daily service and also request to be in the west wing.
