Love For Lawns were an incredible company to work with! From the very beginning, they handled everything with a level of professionalism I have never experienced with landscaping or trade companies before! They helped us plan our landscaping project with diagrams and plans. They gave us ample plant selections to choose from along with their expert recommendations. Their entire team was professional, courteous, and highly skilled. They worked long hours, and even made sure to completely clean up the job site at the end of every day! My neighbors even commented how impressed they were with their work and the cleanliness of the area at the end of each work day. Ultimately the work speaks for itself, but they were able to manage xeriscaping, providing plant and trees, installing all new landscaping, amazing stone work, awesome woodworking for a custom lattice system for vining, a drainage audit and complete reconstruction using underground piping and catch basins, review and retrofit of existing irrigation system, planning and installing a custom landscape lighting system including adding new exterior electrical outlets. They handled everything from start to finish without telling me I needed to hire an electrician, or a sprinkler system guy, or anything third party, and the project came out amazing!!! I highly recommend working with Love For Lawns if you're considering any upgrades to your landscaping project, (big or small)! They took my crazy ideas and turned them into a reality in a better way than I could've imagined! It was the best experience I could ask for from a landscaping company and then some!!! read more

This is an update to my June 11, 2026, Review. I am in the process of filing a Small Claims against Love For Lawns for not honoring its express 1-Year Workmanship Warranty. I provided them with a Final Notice of Request for Repair by Certified Mail with Return Receipt, dated June 3rd, 2026. They refused to accept it; therefore, it was returned back to me. As I have been preparing all the necessary documents to file my claim, I discovered that they filed for bankruptcy on 12/29/2025! This explains why they ignored my many requests for warranty repair. I still intend to file my Small Claims, even if I am not able to get reimbursed for the repairs that are required. I will get satisfaction simply from being listed as another one of their creditors. So, if anyone has been in contact with them, or are planning to, for any type of service...BEWARE! read more

I have left numerous of messages and voicemails only to not receive but one email which indicated they would be coming out still NOTHING. Good evening, I'm following up on my original message from May 9, 2025, regarding the ongoing issue with the mortar separating from the limestone and slab that was installed in November 2024. Unfortunately, the problem has continued, and no one has been in contact with me to reschedule a visit or initiate the necessary warranty repairs. It has now been over two months since I last heard from you, when you indicated that we would be placed on the schedule. I'm disappointed that the issue remains unresolved, especially considering the quality concerns that are clearly visible. I truly believe that if you came out to inspect the work yourself, you would agree that it does not meet acceptable standards. Please contact me as soon as possible to confirm when someone will be out to address the issue under warranty. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Well Love for Lawns won't be getting phase 2 and phase 3 of my project which is an additional $12,000 worth of work. They installed a flower bed edge, flagstone sidewalk, and a concrete slab. I was happy with the work until it started coming apart. The first thing was the seam between the flagstone walk and the driveway. They did come patch it, but won't come out again as it's been 2 years since they installed it !!! Well they would but we'd have to pay !!! Now the tree ring is cracked in three places and the flower bed edge is coming apart as well. I contacted them and the response was, "It's been 2 years so we won't repair it as warranty work" !!! Don't waste your money with this company. I had another company come out and they said it was installed incorrectly and the grout they used is basically sandstone as they cut down on the mortar to save cost but it doesn't hold up. You can crumble it in your hands. Cheap Cheap Cheap. Now we will have to tear out the tree ring and start over. We will also have to cut the driveway / walkway seam out and replace it with a expansion material. I'm so disappointed and upset. Now the slab extension is doing great. Only issue with that is I had to have them come back and install a drain because my driveway was flooding which was at an additional cost. All in all we've paid out about $10,000 and three of the four things they installed are falling apart. I don't know if I'm just unlucky, but my experience with Love for Lawns was not a good one. I booked them several months ago, but they started more than a week late. Once they began, 3 supervisors had to come and argue about the scope of work because they said what they quoted wasn't enough for the job they were doing. They also complained it was going to take two days and they had planned to do it in one to try to make up some time. However, all of this was clearly outlined in the quote I'd gotten from them. The finished product was also disappointing. I have no complaints about the sod work they did, but the flower beds look like an amateur made them. They never graded the soil--just laid the weed barrier down on top with so little soil and mulch that the first rain washed everything downhill and left bare patches that showed the weed barrier everywhere. The plants they planted were also much more immature and fewer than I expected. I'm having to fix the work myself. All in all, I'm really unhappy with the $5000 it cost us and based on my experience, I don't recommend them to anyone. read more

My experience with this company was the worst contractor experience I could have imagined. Poor crew management, over an already high estimate, and poor results. They rescheduled to a very inconvenient day after I had planned around it ten weeks in advance. The crew broke my cable line about 30 minutes after I had shown it to them, and heard them joking about breaking it not long before the break. Ha Ha indeed. I do not recommend this company to anyone who works at home, especially. I sent an email describing the issues with my job and was met with a call from the owner with apologies and promises to replace my dead plants (only one was completely dead, but none of them recovered from being planted despite my install of an irrigation system to maintain them) but, she did not replace them and it's not worth pursuing so close to the inevitable freeze this winter. The owner referred to my job as small, but over $7k means a lot to many of us. I would not recommend them to even the most desperate client. read more

Our experience with Love for Lawns was not pleasant. It started out well with lots of promises but did not deliver. The work took much longer than anticipated and was very sloppy. They use cheap material that barely holds stones together. When we reached out to Chris to complain about the patio, he became combative and threatened a lien on our property if we did not pay him. All we wanted was for him to come out and take a look at the work on our patio but we were told he was too busy. His guys do work hard, and we appreciate that, but the work is very sloppy. In fact, they had to pick up all the stone on our patio and start again because it was nowhere near level and now we are left with what looks like a pile of rubble with mortar holding it together. They were really great- when I called, I was able to leave a message. Unfortunately I didn't get a call back, but when I called a second time and left a message, they called me back right away! They were able to give me a quote and start work the same week. You can pay for your services through an online portal, which is very convenient, and you get texts to remind you when people are coming for your next service. We tried to get a lawn remodel done through them too, but it was just a little too slow-- from the time we requested the estimate to someone coming out, them sending us the quote and the pictures they promised us (about a month), we had already found another contractor, gotten a quote, reviewed their book of options, and scheduled a date for installation. Ultimately, after we saw the delay with the lawn remodel, we decided to go with a different lawn company that was in our neighborhood, so we moved companies. read more

Short version. Chris, Charli, and Love for Lawns are great. Very versatile, reasonable price, and excellent communication. Long version: We have been in our home for 2 years. We wanted an outdoor patio with a firepit, a walkway on the side of the house, and some landscaping. A real mixed bag. I talked to 3+ companies about the project. Most were not interested. They had a minimum of 25k per project and were more specialized. As in one company did outdoor kitchens but not landscaping while another did extravagant landscaping but no patio work. Found Love for Lawns and Chris came over to take a look. He was very straightforward and said he could do everything we wanted including making our bake stairs a butterfly staircase with a walkway to the patio / firepit in the back yard. Also pointed out, correctly, we should really have french drains for our flower bed on the side of the house. Got a very reasonable estimate within two days. Work was delayed a bit on our end due to HOW approval, but once Chris and his crews started they finished everything in a week and a half. Very happy with the work and we recommend Love for Lawns based on our experience. read more

After witnessing one of their guys use the blower to direct all the leaves and trimmings into my yard I went outside and asked them not to do that. They just said, "yes sir" and then got in their truck and left. Didn't bother to clean up the mess they left behind in my yard. read more

I hired Chris to do some landscaping at our home. We agreed on the scope of work and associated pricing as well as the intended schedule. When scheduling was not met, I began making calls and sending email to get updates. Communication is very poor on his part. Voice mail on the phone is usually full. Email and phone communication is routed through Chris's wife. Chris did not call directly one time. After rescheduling a couple times, and promising to be here last Friday and then today (Monday), he told me (via email) 7-10 days but no promises. I don't know anything about their work but I am not willing keep dealing with his inability to tell me the truth and have fired him. read more

We thought they would be good until they weren't. The guy assigned to our sons yard landscape flaked due to personal problems. Basically dropped the ball. Then the sprinkler system got broken when they removed old grass and an oak. Charli is amazing though! She stepped up and paid for repair on sprinkler system. Although it's still broken and hopefully they'll be fixing it soon.. I'm just saddened by them because I really trusted we'd get quality service. Love for lawns was sub-contracted through another company when that company did not meet the timeline they agreed to. Charli was very communicative (even texting the evening before due to possible weather delays). We agreed to a date and they had 6 guys ready to work on that date. We had quite a bit of clean up and re-mulching done to our front flower beds. When there was more work than expected (due to lack of communication by the previous lawn company) Charli was easy to work with and very reasonable. The work was efficient and done very well. I was under a time crunch for my backyard landscaping project and they were very flexible to ensure the project was done in time and it looks great! Was recommending by a neighbor, and they lived up to expectations. Chris and Charli are professional, courteous, and their team does great work. We use them for routine mowing, and just had them rework our flowerbeds. They nabbed every weed, replaced all our dead plants, laid down a landscaping barrier, dropped in new mulch, the works. Booked an appointment with them and for a Friday morning. They confirmed via email and phone they would come out in morning. Did not show up, so we called them and asked where they were. They apologized and said they would be at our house later in the day. Did not show up until 4:15pm. Gave them simple instructions over the phone and in person to not walk on my neighbor's property while mowing our lawn. The owner and the person who shows up said it would be no problem at all. When our security cameras caught them doing so, very clearly, I spoke to the owner and asked what happened. She apologized but then said we are not the lawn company for you due to your "expectations and needs"and stopped responding to my inquiry. Really? So it is custom to walk on neighbors property and to ask someone not to do so is totally unreasonable? Even though they had no problem agreeing to do so to earn my business.
