While I was setting up Christmas decorations, I observed that one of the bushes has begun to regrow, which seems to be regarded as a miracle since the root ball was supposedly removed! Additionally, I noticed that a considerable portion of the newly installed concrete slab is distinctly discolored due to inconsistent or improper mixing. Unfortunately it seems I will have to resolve this through our court system.

My old 25 year old cement driveway was stained, cracked, and puddled like crazy after any rain, and joints were missing mastic and had hollowed out with toads living inside. His team did the demo work and installed the pavers in just a few days for a pretty large driveway. They were good about cleaning up on a daily basis and the pricing was competitive. The result is incredible. RcTex also made sure to slope the driveway as I asked to avoid puddling and also installed a parking pad with retaining wall for my other car that doesn't fit into the garage. Finally they applied a sealer to the pavers for a nice wet look and to avoid stains. Pretty happy with the work! Highly recommend.

Bid Process: I inquired about five concrete/foundation company bids and while price was important, we also knew we wanted someone that would be: - Extremely reponsive - Help us trouble shoot items we may not be aware of - Take pride in their work and this they serve - Owner inspects the work of his workers (better yet if they are there at each phase) - A small business and not just a large company that may treat the job as just that...a job. Our experience thus far with Max (the owner along with his wife Nicole) has met and exceeded all of the above. While they were not the cheapest bid they were BY FAR the BEST VALUE with all the extra guidance, support, and attention to detail Max has provided. I also love that Max is easy to talk to and has a lot of experience which he love sharing in an educational way. Another huge difference we encountered in the bid process is that Max's bid came with footing recommendation (if you don't have plans) and his bid was way more detailed in the scope of work that would be completed. Way more professional than emails or standard invoice with a price on it...(come on "other guys") We can't wait to post some finished pictures but wanted to share how happy we are with them. I had them do some work for me several years ago and they did a good job…read more So, when I needed another job done, I called on them. That was a big mistake. I have no idea what has happened to the company since my first experience, but this wasn't what I expected. When I checked on their progress the first day, there were several issues that were quite obvious, so I had to point those out to them the next day. Then, they cut the bottom of my gate fence far too short than necessary to fit a paver underneath. It was very unsightly and below the standards of a very strict HOA. They promised to come back in three days to fix the gate and asked for the rest of the payment for the project. Being trusting, I paid them. That too, was a mistake. From then on, they either made excuses or didn't bother to respond to my many emails and phone calls. Finally, after threats of legal action and mention of recordings on outdoor cameras of them promising to come back and fix the gate, they finally came back about 1 1/2 months later and repaired the gate. Fast forward to March 19th. I noticed the mortar used for the stones was separating and/or breaking apart in several areas. So, I first contacted Love for Lawns by email and notified them of the problem, because the workmanship is still under the 1-year warranty. In response, on March 20th, they told me they would put me on their "warranty schedule". That never happened and they never responded to any of my calls and emails after that. After a Google Review, the last email I received from them was on May 19th, stating "I will schedule the repair for next week". Again, I have not heard from them since. I tried to be patient and probably gave them more chances than most would before I took to Google Review and Yelp to provide reviews. I finally resorted to sending them a 'Final Notice' certified letter dated June 3rd, giving them 10 days to respond or I would pursue legal/regulatory options. Still no response as of yet. So, here I am.

Good evening, I'm following up on my original message from May 9, 2025, regarding the ongoing issue with the mortar separating from the limestone and slab that was installed in November 2024. It has now been over two months since I last heard from you, when you indicated that we would be placed on the schedule. I'm disappointed that the issue remains unresolved, especially considering the quality concerns that are clearly visible. I truly believe that if you came out to inspect the work yourself, you would agree that it does not meet acceptable standards. Please contact me as soon as possible to confirm when someone will be out to address the issue under warranty. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.
