My husband went in to buy a bottle of champagne to celebrate a big accomplishment and the owner Dustin helped him pick one that changed our life! Haha ok maybe not life changing but it definitely was the BEST. I have gotten some help picking wines, I have gotten suggestion for food/wine pairing. Walking into pearl wine company is like walking to your super cool friends house that know everything about wine! Take a second and stop in! Admire the shop, chat with the employees grab a bottle of wine and plan your next trip back! Oh and if you can stop in for a wine or liquor sampling.. such a fun little event!

For example I saw they had a Volpaia Chianti Classico for 28 bucks and at Argonaut that same bottle is 17. Another of my favorite bottles Chateau De Beaucastel Chateauneuf-du-Pape is 95 dollars here vs 85 other places. One more of my favorite bottles Domaine Faury Collines Rhodaniennes Syrah is 33 here and 25 other places. I'm all for supporting small business, but you're paying anywhere from a 12% to 55% up charge on bottles of wine here. Unfortunately this place is way way too expensive to be a regular stop for me.

I totally get the frustration but I don't really need to see it every time I go in lol. I usually just go to Safeway unless I'm craving some unique beer. I also really appreciate that they offer Colorado-specific wines, spirits, beers, and seltzers. And, if you need mixers, they've got those too and not just your classic, but some unique offerings like blood orange ginger beer. They rotate these out, too, which is nice for variety. They also occasionally offer free tastings, like on Thursdays between 4pm-6pm they offer wine tastings. These usually accompany their "wine of the month" which is on discount the entire month and then during the tasting, they occasionally offer an additional coupon. So I trekked around town and found one somewhere else, but both in fact were here. The prices here are actually quite competitive, on these items and some others I bought in the past.
