I stopped by this fantastic business yesterday to just grab a six pack for a friend's birthday. The wine selection seemed pretty extensive for the size of the store and the beer selection was minimal but had your essentials for a decent price. I was not expecting much, just to go in, grab my beer, pay, and leave, but the gentleman behind the counter greeted me as I walked in and asked if I needed anything to let him know. After I paid and was going to leave, he gave me a very friendly goodbye. I rate this store 5 stars just based off the service alone! read more

I really like this little shop! It's conveniently located on 6th street where there's a lot of activity and businesses, so stop on in to take something home if in the neighborhood! So, again this is a small place and the selection can only be so big for that reason. They also have a wine bottle loyalty card! I wanna say, I hate giving one stars. If you go through my history, they are rare. But I live down the street from them and I don't go. The only thing I buy from them now is cigarettes on the way to Don's and they seem to hate me for that. They slam my cigarettes on counter. You sell cigarettes and beer! And you hate the people who buy them but you love people who buy wine? What a weird way to operate. read more

Very good neighborhood liquor store. They have a little bit of everything within super reasonable price range. They have what fits in the casual neighborhood. I just wish they have broader variety in wine selection. It is just me. This time I bought a Cabernet Sauvignon and a Espolon tequila suggested by a staff ( I think he is the owner ??) Please see the pictures of what I got. The cab is exactly as was described and very good for 15 dollars. It tastes like what cab is supposed to tastes without breaking a bank. Very safe choice. Espolon tequila smells good and has a lot of flavors going on. The bottle has a rustic shape. It is good to drink straight as well as making high end margarita. The label reminds me of the day of the dead scene from " Spectre" hehe. I am just a big fan of Daniel Craig:) Ok. You can't miss this part. Let me talk about their eccentric window displays!! ( Please see the pictures). As Halloween is coming soon, they have created a scene from " Poltergeist " . They have some funky and sort of creative creepiness in a way about their window displays. I like this wine store (which does sell some beer and liquor) because I feel like I'm supporting the "little guys" when I go here. Even though the store is pretty small they have a pretty decent selection of wine. Plus the workers are great at making a suggestion if you're unsure which wine you want. Stop by and pick up a bottle to go with your Angelo's takeout or to bring to your next party. But get there before 10 or they'll be closed. read more

Extremely rude - go support Joy down the road (better selection anyways of both wine and tequila). Parked there to grab something next door and then buy some wine. I guess I was there 5 mins longer than their time box which meant they plastered a giant impossible to remove sticker on my window. THERE WAS NO ONE else in the parking lot. Seriously? Politely asked about it and the manager was a snot. Put the wine back and left. This was months ago now - I out of my way to avoid ever going back but walking by still makes me mad it was so memorable. Full disclosure: I live pretty much literally across the street from this place. But truth be told, when I bought my house having a wine/liquor store across the street was a selling point (especially in Denver when you can't just run to the grocery store for a bottle of wine). The folks that work here are always super chill and nice, and for the size of this place, there really is a great selection. This is the perfect place to stop on your way home from work to grab a quick bottle, or quickly run into on your way to that dinner party you forgot to get a host gift for. Ask for your wine punch card if you're planning to be a regular! After a certain number of bottles (10? 12?) you get a free bottle of wine... No complaints about that! read more

Great service always! Perfect neighborhood wine shop to stop in at night while walking my dog, who they kindly allow inside and offer a milk bone. The Maggio is my favorite $10 Zinfandel, but the employees always offer help discovering a new bottle. read more

I'd say go to Joy down the street for a better wine selection. (or drive to Arganaut) Their selection here is a bit sparse. They've got a mediocre liquor and beer selection as well, but the staff's super cool, prices are decent, and they're open til 10. (and Joy closes at 9 on weekdays) read more

This is my neighborhood liquor store. The guys that work here are always super nice and helpful and always offer my dog a treat when I bring him in. There isn't a huge beer selection (it's not called the beer cellar) lol but it suites my needs! Plenty of Colorado beers and your standard coors/ bud lite, etc. They have a huge wine selection and a rewards program, I think you have to buy 10 bottles to get a free one. I'm a moron when it comes to wine. I'm the bud light guzzling nightmare version of a wine drinker. But, I want to expand my taste buds. So, wine sellers usually intimidate me. Until I met Chris, the bearded mellow man who took away all my wine choosing anxiety. This is a great neighborhood wine/alcohol shop. The selection is quite good- expansive selection of reasonably priced wines and local Colorado craft beers. They are dog-friendly too and gave my pup a milk-bone during our last visit. Definitely won her and me over and I won't go elsewhere. It's a liquor store. They sell your various local brews, mass-produced, and seem to have a decent enough stock of wine for being a smaller business. The reason for three stars? It stinks of cigarettes anytime I go in. STINKS. The staff is nice, but I've found myself spending more on beer here than anyplace nearby, and reeking of tobacco afterwards. read more
