I should have read the reviews before I signed. I was given 2 different prices. 1st was for a season from April 1- October 31 and when I called back a week later saying I couldn't get my boat in till middle of May due to repairs and the 2nd person said no problem we can start on May 1- October 31 since there are plenty of slips open. I went to pay today and the 1st person said no I have to pay for all of April because I held it for you. I told her about the other person who agreed because there are so many of them open and she didn't care.What BS!!! And at $375 a month. So if anyone gets their slip and doesn't have to pay for April, please let me know. read more

Just go to the south shore marina, don't even bother!! The first thing that threw us off was the mandatory insurance when we arrived, which was an unexpected $60. When we pointed out that the website let us make the reservation while waiving the insurance, we were met with rudeness and a "sorry bout it" attitude from the lady there. We had driven all the way from Colorado Springs so yeah we weren't about to take the refund she offered rudely and just head back to the springs. The south shore marina was closed otherwise we would have gone there in a heartbeat. We begrudgingly went outside to the dock and boarded the boat. It was filthy and covered in spiderwebs. We took it out a little ways from the marina and then turn right back around because spiders were crawling on us, not to mention the boat barely made it to 40 miles an hour. The one nice thing I will say about the marina is that they did give us the upgraded boat when we complained about the spiders. This one had spiderwebs on it as well but no visible spiders. Also, Dallas was very nice. They also nickel and dimed us at the end by adding on a 3% fee for using a credit card. They also told us when we checked out that while we were on the boat, they fixed the website so that the insurance is now required when you check out. But there was no offer to refund the insurance to us after the bait and switch. I will never come back after my experience. read more

I recently called the North Shore Marina, asking if they'd rent us a slip at a somewhat reduced rate, since summer is half-way over with. But rather than lease the slip at a discounted rate, they'd prefer to sit on an unoccupied slip without getting anything at all for it. I was arrogantly and coldly informed about the amount they ask; no discounts for seniors, no discount for military, no discounts period! I was very disappointed. Had a boat in our slip today, asked the older lady at the front counter on what we should do, I gave her my wife last name as she does all the reservations and she said I don't look like a *her last name* proceeded to question me more. Now I did marry into a white family, and I myself am an Africa American, but I do know how you can tell what family someone belongs to by looking at them. Tell me if I am wrong. Long story short, had to take the boat out of the water, and take an L on the day! The owner "Sheldon" did reachout to me and explain that I shouldn't of had to deal with that and wanted to meet up to fix the issue on the slip and that he is unaware of the boat slip issue. DO NOT USE GAS from here!!! So we recently bought a boat we took it to a shop for a tune up and to be sure all was running right. We took it to the lake it ran fine one day and knew we had to put gas in for the next time. Our boat requires 50:1 gas of course because we are (WERE) new boat owners we went to the marina for the pre mixed gas to be safe?! WRONG thing to do at this marina!!! They put the wrong type of gas (as they are the ones that fill it). We took out the boat not knowing the wrong gas was put in and of course it blows the motor as we are on the lake. We didn't know at the time what happened so we take it back to the shop and they show us what happened. We then went back to the marina to show them their mess up and what can we figure out to fix this. We spoke with Connie Jack who told us that it's not her problem and to leave. I get that it is our boat and we should of never of taken it there!! But this is a marina screw up!? For her to be rude and disrespectful is completely unprofessional. BOATERS BEWARE!! MOST Business owners take pride with their customer service. This one obviously doesn't in my opinion. read more

my boat over heated and they stopped towing at 3:00pm when the lake is supposedly open till midnight then pamphlet is outdated, saying that they had all these services seems like no one there wanted to do their job, they were very rude and unprofessional. they did not want to offer their help at all they were very misleading one person said yeah we do that and next day played stupid saying they don't offer those services. thought it was way better with old owners. New management and owners are garbage!! read more

Our boat broke down and we needed a tow we called the marina and they sent some one out. Great customer service thank you!!!
