I was a pedestrian walking by, and the door to this liquor store suddenly exploded due to a drunk person destroying it and throwing a wine bottle through the glass. I walked by just as this happened and got glass all over me, including in my eye. It is in my hair, my clothes, everywhere. I have cuts and scrapes. I was freaking out, scared, crying, and in a lot of pain, and, not able to see due to the glass in my eye. One of the men who works at or owns the store, a large short man with a balding gray ponytail and an unkempt beard, came out. He did not ask if I were ok, If I needed medical attention, or if I needed an ambulance. He barely looked at me, even though it was obvious I had been hit by the glass and was injured. He did not care at ALL that an innocent person was just seriously harmed walking by his store. He is a horrible person who does not care about his community. When the ambulance and police arrived, he continued to show callousness by not checking on me. He never ONCE asked if I was ok. I later called the store to ask for the owner's information for any legal case I may have, as I need extensive medical care due to my eye injury. Another employee or owner answered and they refused to give it to me once they found out I was the injured woman. They then, hung up on me, and subsequently blocked my number. I will be following up with an attorney and a police report. I am truly disgusted by the lack of caring for the community that is displayed by this long standing store snd its employees/owners. What a disgrace. While it is not necessarily their fault the door incident happened, it IS their fault for refusing tk show a shred of human decency. Clearly, they were more concerned about their store than the woman covered in glass snd in pain from glass in her eye. They could have least checked on me, asked if I was ok. The lack of caring about an innocent person being injured by their property is truly, utterly shocking. As a human, I cannot imagine standing there after witnessing someone become injured by my store, and not asking them if they are ok or if they need anything. That is the bare minimum of being a decent human being and community member. I have all of this on video and will be sharing on social media. This man and this store does not belong in our Boston community. Our community cares when others are injured. The main agent/owner, David DiNardi, needs to do better on ensuring his employees and his store are decent human beings. I will continue to pursue all my legal options. It's also really weird that Dave DiNardi also is a dental ceramics maker and owns a dental lab. Super sketchy to own such a wide variety of businesses. I would be very suspicious of his dental business if this is how he runs his liquor store. Seems very sketchy. read more

Went it there to purchase a bottle of top shelf bourbon, the clerk told me right away when I had asked that it was $175 which I agreed to. As I was waiting for the one customer ahead of me to finish their purchase the clerk looked at the manager/owner and help the bottle lower with a look on his face and the manager/owner tells him $250. I immediately spoke up and said "you just told me $175" and he replied that "I didn't know". I wasn't happy and told them they need to honor what they quoted and if you don't know the prices you shouldn't be working there never mind quoting. Be careful. read more

I don't why people are so pissed off at the stock boy here. If I am think of the same guy, he's always been extremely helpful in helping me find the right type of whiskey. I've come in on numerous occasions and have had excellent service. The guy knows his whiskey. Maybe he's being snobby at you because you're asking him about girly-ass drink or some hipster craft beer. The prices are a bit high, but that's the location. They should have named it "Booze Closet" so it wouldn't be so easy to walk by. I was walking to North Station Wednesday to take the train and decided to stop in to get a little pick-me-up for the ride. It is a very small store with: 1. Assorted liquids in cans that pretty much should all have been labeled Bud Light. 2. Leering, smelly old guy standing in the corner and watching. Just, watching. 3. 125%-150% higher prices than other stores. 4. A Smell. 5. Guy-at-counter-who-will-not-get-off-his-cell-phone-come-Apocalypse-or-customer (I now just expect this.) This is my new favorite liquor store. I used to go to the old location merely because I would walk by on my way home and it was there and it was always an interesting experience. The new location and store is so much better than they old place there really is no comparasion. They have a great selection of beer and wine and the prices seem right in line with other places in the city. The guy who works there with the glasses gives great suggestions on good and different beers to try. I love this store and NO I do not have a "problem". read more

Terrible prices, at least a 25% markup over any other liquor store. I tried to buy a 12 pack of spi that usually cost $14 and the distracted clerk on his cell phone rang up $20. Upon inquiring the clerk looked bored and confused and just took it and put it back on the shelf. Been here before but will not return, plenty of other places that are legitimate. read more

This place has a pretty good selection but all I can say is WOWZERS....this place is EXPENSIVE. I'm just visiting from DC/Maryland and I thought our stores were expensive but I've never seen anything quite like this. A 6 pack of Nantucket brewers in cans was $12. I didn't really want to be trekking all over the city in search of cheap alcohol so I just stopped here because my hotel was around the corner. SO yeah, good selection but ridiculous prices and the people that work there barely act like you're even there and carrying on tons of side conversations in another language. read more

I've found some tasty,hard to find brews here. The prices are on the high side, but I chalk it up to high rent. I have never had a problem with the guys that work there. They keep a wide selection of top notch spirits and a nice selection of wine. They have a great location-across from the Garden and North station and 50 feet from Halftime Pizza,not to mention they're close to Tasty Burger. I also like the selection of large bottles and a good selection of ciders to boot. They also play Indian music which always puts me in a good mood. It might not be a value driven store, but quality wise, they have me hooked. read more

The owner is a top notch guy I would give my business to him anytime I am up in the area. Checked my backpack there and didn't get it in time after a Celtics game. Take an aggressively snarky and sarcastic stock boy and a low budget packy that caters to homeless people and you have North Station Liquors. The only reason I go to this place is because it's close to my work. Every time I go in there I get an attitude from the stockboy. I don't know if it's because he's made poor life decisions or has daddy issues, but there is no reason to take out his frustrations on me. My suggestion is that he go back to school and get that GED or patch things up with the father that abandoned him at birth. Nonetheless, the homeless guy that smelled like whiskey and feet and the sarcastic attitude from the stockboy today was the last straw. Thank christ for Drizly because I would rather watch a 24 hour marathon of "The Notebook" than give this shit hole my business again. read more

Just stopped in to see what the complaints were all about. The prices were a bit higher than other places in the city. But hey, it's right across from North Station and the Garden. Pretty wide selection for a place this small. No sign of the surly stock boy, and the guy behind the counter with glasses on was very helpful. This establishment violated the law that requires retailers to honor the posted price tag of any item, regardless if it was a mistake or not. Even after the staffer called management, it was still not honored and all involved seemed ignorant of the law. read more

It doesn't have all the selections or the best prices but it is convenient! The help is actually pretty friendly, unless you have an attitude. It used to be a real dump but it has been cleaned up as much as possible and it is a staple of the neighborhood. If you want Kappys, get on the orange line to Medford and save $2 bucks a bottle. Geat selection of craft beers. Heard about this from a friend, and stoppe by on a recent rtip trough Boston. Parking was a pain, but well worth it, for selection and service. Was looking for something unusual for a friend who is always looking for different brews, and we were not disappointed! The place seems to be very well stocked with beer, wine and liquors. They sure pack a lot into a small space. definitely worth checking out again! read more
