Our family had our annual family reunion here at Jellystone in Burleson once again. This was the fourth year in a row to have it here. The accommodations were clean, amazing large rooms and comfy beds! Our a/c was fantastic and did a great job keeping the room cold, even in the heat of the day. The park offers so many fun activities that the kids never get bored! We always stay an extra day so that we can spend quality time with the kids and try to do as many of the activities as possible. This year they had two new attractions - the snowless snowboarding and I can't remember the name of the other one, but they were awesome! They also have employees who specialize in helping organize large groups with their accommodations. We have had the same person helping our family for going on 5 years now. Her name is Darla and she is our "hero" when it comes to Jellystone! Honestly, she is the reason we always vote to come back year after year. At the previous place that we held our reunion for over 15 years, they sold and we became just a number to them. Darla has treated us as family from day one. This used to be one of our favorite places to visit for a close to home stay. This last visit was the absolute worst! My family has stayed at Jellystone many times over the years. The park and its hospitality is a fraction of what it used to be. 1. They are NOT maintaining facilities like the used to. The bed in the newer grain bin 561 was hard as a rock. I emailed them at 3am and asked someone to call first thing in the morning that didn't happen. When I went down to the office the Assistant Manager informed me of how busy she was. I told her we lived locally and wanted to check out early as the accommodations were not as they have been in the past. She said she could not refund or partial refund so a manager needed to call me. I gave her my number and the manager still called my husband who was not with us and did not get back to me in the timeline discussed. The manager said this was my fault because I didn't work with them. Ma'am, I waited hours for your team to contact me and be proactive they didn't. I don't work for you. The manager also mentioned that she had not received other reviews about uncomfortable beds. There is literally one on Google from last week that they responded to. She also told me they don't do refunds but she would offer me a $350 credit despite all the issues reported. $350 on $1000 waisted! Despite setting the ac to 66 the room never got cold. I would say 72 at best that's being generous I'm usually cold at 71. It was never cold. Even sleeping with the sheet felt hot. We paid $1000 and change for 2 nights, one of which we did not stay due to the poor facilities and service. 2. They now require your photo id AND a picture of you. I just handed you my government issued photo id I'm declining an additional photo. She said well we have to make sure it's you. In other words we are taking your photo comparing it to your id with a software or ai of some sort. That is the capturing and storing of my personal biometric data. No. The lady insisted it was their policy. I said well you will need to check me in or refund me. 3. We were there with family who rented 3 cabins, all the cabins and the silo smelled weird. Driving around cabins had holes in them. It was just an eyesore to look at. 4. Most of the activities that used to be available first thing were not available until 10 or after. Kids are there on vacation, they are not sleeping in, they want to have fun. Used to you could wake up and go to the activities barn. No it's closed until 10. No mini golf until 10. Pool 10. Water park 11. The times for most things being open are not well posted. This is new, it's not always been this way and should be better communicated. There was a serious lack of communication and planning on the park's end. The jump pillow is no longer covered. So it's useable for a couple hours in the morning and evening. It looks like y'all poured your money into the new attractions and didn't maintain facilities or the staff to keep areas open for there to be a variety of things to do. Our experience at Jellystone Park was one of the worst customer service experiences we've ever had. We had barely arrived when several adult campers who live onsite in RVs physically and verbally confronted and intimidated our son. They then accused him of threatening them with a gun and claiming to be a gang member. Law enforcement responded to the scene, and no criminal charges were filed against anyone in our family. Despite that, management never spoke with us, our son, or anyone else in our group before deciding to remove us from the park. We repeatedly asked to speak with management and were denied the opportunity. When we went to the front office looking for answers, an employee who identified themselves as the manager told us we were being removed because our 18-year-old son was driving a golf cart without permission. That explanation was simply not accurate. He had permission to drive the golf cart and was wearing the required wristband. Had anyone from management taken a few minutes to speak with us before making their decision, they would have known that. To make matters even worse, we were given different explanations for why we were being removed, which only added to the confusion and frustration. Instead of conducting a fair investigation or hearing both sides, management relied on accusations from onsite RV tenants and refused to let us explain what had actually happened. As if that wasn't enough, we were denied a refund even though we had just arrived and were forced to leave almost immediately. We paid for a family vacation that we never got to enjoy. We left feeling embarrassed, dismissed, and treated unfairly. A business that values its guests should investigate serious accusations, hear both sides, and communicate honestly. Based on our experience, Jellystone Park failed on all three. We will never return and cannot recommend this campground to other families. read more

This place is absolutely NOT ADA friendly. My family and I stayed here for an event, and booked over a month in advance specifically requested an ADA room. We were promised that the room/cabin would be accessible including the shower/bathroom. Upon arrival, the only thing accessible was the ramp to the cabin door. The rest of the cabin was absolutely not accessible, especially the shower. There was no seat in the shower as promised, and there were no grab bars inside or outside of the shower, making it impossible for me to take a shower. When my family called to get this resolved, we were told that they would work on a solution and call us back. They never resolved the issue and never called us back, and we were there 3 days! Horrible customer service and absolutely not ADA accessible! read more

Here's the revised version: We recently stayed at North Texas Jellystone for two nights to celebrate mine and my 9-year-old's birthdays. The room itself was nice and clean, but since it was a warm Thursday, the AC struggled to cool the room as much as we would have liked. In the middle of summer, I would definitely recommend bringing a fan just in case. Unfortunately, our planned waterpark day was rained out, and the waterpark was closed the next day. Since this trip was a big deal for our family and something we had saved up for, we decided to rent a golf cart on Friday so the kids would still have something fun to do instead of being stuck in the room all day. When we picked up the golf cart, it already looked rough and had visible damage. My husband even joked about it with the employee who gave us the keys, and the employee acknowledged that the damage had already been documented. On Saturday, we returned the golf cart before noon and went to the park to try to enjoy our last day. About an hour later, I received a call from Andrea, the manager, saying the golf cart had been returned damaged and asking me to call her back. I tried calling her back multiple times, but it went straight to voicemail. Before I was ever able to speak with her, Jellystone charged me $750. At that point, we had to pack up our kids and leave the park early to get it handled, which completely cut our birthday celebration short. Thankfully, the employee who had checked the golf cart out to us vouched for us, and Andrea said the charge would be refunded. However, she did not offer an apology or anything to make the situation right, even though we had been charged a large amount of money without anyone speaking to us first. We were really disappointed with how the situation was handled, especially by management. For a family like ours, this trip was not cheap and was something we saved for, so having $750 charged without warning was extremely stressful. My biggest advice to anyone staying here is to take pictures of everything: your room, your golf cart, and anything you rent or use. I'd give 0 stars if I could, a trip to the Walmart parking lot would be a better time, visited this joke on April 18th, girl working the check in window was sweet but that's where it ended. Rv spot was filthy and definitely NOT cleaned prior to our arrival, space full of leaf piles, ants all around the Picknick table, empty beer Carton, framing nail on concrete parking pad, coat hanger and other trash, called office they sent a kid with a blower who did a 50/50 job cleaning up. This was on Friday late afternoon, on Saturday we were expecting to have a great time with out 3 grandkids considering the resort fees they charge on top of the rv site fees. We did have some rain so they canceled everything outdoors! FOR THE WHOLE DAY!! did they open up more activities in doors? Nope! Would they refund resort fees? Nope! It was rather ironic that ALL the extra pay activities that were not included in the resort fees were still open! We were told they have an indoor pool...nope! All pools closed! We ended up going to the activities barn where like I said everything was an Extra charge except the tiny mini golf room which was packed since everything else was closed, no organization in there so it was basically a disaster with at least 10 kids on every hole! They had a bounce house indoor with a sign that says maximum height 48" my grandkids are 4-6-8 so they were playing on it, a grumpy old man (employee) runs off my 50lb grand daughter for being 2" too tall. No exceptions even with all the outdoor activities closed. "Kid friendly?" Spent about $80 extra for the kids to make slime and paint a figurine. Later we decided to try out the Pirate's Cove Arcade. " that should be fun for kids" nope! Walked in and purchased a players card... loaded it with $$$ noticed a sign that says " no refunds" then noticed we WERE THE ONLY CUSTOMERS! 7:50 pm on a Saturday night in an arcade at a so called establishment for kids and nobody here! We soon figured out why.....most of the games were broken or turned off we walked around for about 10 minutes, I asked the kid playing on his phone by the door why all the games were broken he just looked up from his phone and shook his head as to say " who knows" then went back to his phone. We left went back to the rv and prepared to leave for the next morning. So disappointing, we were hoping for a fun trip for our grandchildren and this place turned out to be a wast of time and money. All in all we spent close to $450 for 1 1/2 days and 2 night in this place. We travel in our RV all over the country and this has to be the worst I hesitate to say "resort" so let's just say outdated, unkept over priced and obviously unprepared for inclement weather parking lot. DO NOT STAY at North Texas Jellystone. We stayed here for spring break sat-wed. I would say this was one of the worst vacations we have had. When we first arrive at 4pm we were told by the front gate attendant that our cabin wasn't ready and they didn't know why. Come and check back in an hour to see if it's ready. After I found out our friends cabin wasn't cleaned, I went to the front office I wanted to see what was going on and if they had and they said "we don't know why you were told that your cabin is clean and ready." That's when the communication between the staff started breaking down. We knew coming into this vacation our cabins heater was broken but to our understanding it had only been broken for a week. Come to find out from a maintenance man that was a lie and it had been broken for 3 months. When I asked the manager why wasn't I made aware of this when I booked this cabin 3 months ago because my friends and I would have booked other cabins! The manager had no answer for this. Our first cabin had black mold under the sink and around the bottom of the shower. There were ants in the bathroom and the water from the sinks and shower smelled like rotten eggs. There was no way we were going to use shower or wash our hands with that water. On night 2, the night manager finally moved us to a different cabin in the pirate ship. The newer cabin was clean but the ship was very loud from the interstate traffic and the 40mph winds. There wasn't very much for our kids to do and the property really needs to be cleaned up. There were lots of stray cats. It's just so unfortunate that we wasted our money staying here. Rather than staying at a hotel, Big Bro, wifey and extended family decided to cabin it instead. (This was such a great idea, I shoulda done this!) We got the chance to come through to check it out. Picked up some groceries not too far from here just to give their grills a run! The cabins gave off a rustic feel, and the ones they got can fit up to 4 people comfortably. The grills were clean, although I don't know if that was Big Bro's doing or Jellystone's. Benches and tables also provided. The kids got to play and swim at the pool nearby, so that's a plus. The only downer here is that the cabins aren't equipped with any kitchen utensils. (Okay, I'll admit, most of not all cabins I've been are complete with anything and everything - sheets, towels, seasonings, included. Maybe I just got a little spoiled.) But there is a mini-store nearby where you might be able to find bare essentials. Parking isn't an issue. Spots are assigned next to the cabins. Glad I got experience it - albeit just a few hours. One day, maybe, I might be able to get a full experience of the grounds. read more

Our Girl Scout troop booked a "lock in" style overnight at Burleson Jellystone Resort. We had almost 50 in total at this overnight. Having so many activities for the girls to do. Kept things going smooth. We had a full kitchen to cook in and 3 restrooms. At night we had some time for games inside the hall. We stayed in the Guadalajara Hall at Jellystone. Slept all together in one room in sleeping bags. The room was plenty big for all the chaperones to have their own section and for the girls to have their section. We stayed here for a few nights over spring break and had a good amount of fun. We stayed in one of the new additions - the grain bins. Talk about a cool stand alone building. While they are new, who ever did the finish work did a really bad job. For instance, in the down stairs bathroom everything thst was anchored to the drywall was already pulling out. I feel give it another few months and the towels rack, curtain hanger and tp holder will be on the ground. It appeared clean. How clean was it really? No clue, would be too scared to take a black light to any shared room light that. Really enjoyed that there was zero carpet and the bottom floor was concrete. Such a cool space and the kids had fun upstairs. The park itself was nice and lots of kid activities. There was a huge indoor area too that has painting, indoor put-put. The kids favorite activity was riding around in the golf carts. They are roughly $80/day to rent. IMO, not a necessity but fun. Highly recommend. read more

This was our first time camping here since we have moved to Texas, we were so excited to have our kids experience it. Everything was good until our 1 year old was at the small playground and got attacked by fire ants. They were everywhere. No medicine we gave him helped. His foot was swollen twice the size. Instead of enjoying our last day, we had to rush to pack up to take him to urgent care. Days later and lots of money spent his foot is still not back to normal. We are extremely disappointed that Jellystone would not make sure the areas that kids play in are safe for them to do so. Not to mention our campsite had them everywhere also. We never left any food out and we didn't even sit outside of our camp for that reason. Needless to say a trip that was supposed to be very memorable turned very quick. read more

The park was very pretty. I was not thrilled they said all their pools open at 10 but we waited an hour for the Las vegas pool to open at 11. Also there was no service in the Las Vegas pool like advertised. I thought they'd have more activities than they had. But over all had a great experience. I wish they offered day passes but instead we had to rent a tent lot in lue of a day pass. Pirates cove is cute but you can tell it's dated some of the water decor are broken with styrofoam showing. I feel like for the price we should have gotten more but still enjoyed our stay with what they had . read more

I really liked this place for kids. We went along with my daughter and grandson. They stayed in a cabin and we were in our Casita RV. The grounds were nice and the cabin they stayed in was nice. There was a lot of great activities for children. My two problems with this place was safety and unreliability of the internet. I watched people constantly blowing through the stop sign next to the play ground in their golf carts including Jellystone employees. The internet wasn't reliable at all. I was trying to log in to my laptop to take care of a few things and it wouldn't connect. They need to instruct everyone renting a cart to observe driving safety or they are going to have a bad outcome. read more

Took our Girl Scout troop for 2 night trip to Jellystone as a reward for cookie sales. What a great time we had! So many fun activities to do along with entry to the water park Pirates Cove. We rented golf carts (a must if you visit in summer) and went in the pool, played the bubble blaster course, ran the maze, played on the play structures, attended the dance party, did glow mini golf and spent the day at the water park. It was so fun and you really get full action packed days for a reasonable price. The cabin had a/c issues but they came out right away to fix. Definitely will be back! Accommodations were great in the cabin we rented, it was clean and comfortable and as advertised. All staff was friendly and helpful. read more

Had an amazing Labor Day holiday weekend with the entire family! This place is amazing. The kids had an absolute blast and so did the parents & g'parents. So much to do! Definitely will return and highly recommend. Renting a golf cart makes the stay even that much better -- be sure to rent in advance especially for a holiday weekend as they will book out. Jellystone North TX has been the best Jellystone yet!! (Out of the 3 we have been to, but we've loved them all) Full throttle fun from the oldest to the youngest -- from sleeping in a pirate ship full of cousins and bunk beds, cruising around on the stretch golf cart checking out the sights, pizza & ice cream, visiting the petting zoo, painting ceramics and rocks in the craft Barn, mining for gems, swimming, more ice cream, fishing, 3 playgrounds, more pizza, a bounce pad, laser tag, riding bikes, all the way to ripping down the giant water slides at the water park and floating on the lazy river oh and even more pizza -- this holiday weekend was a blast. Especially for my pizza loving boy. I definitely recommend! We stayed in the pirate ship which was within walking distance to the water park. Cute little set up for a glamping trip - linens & towels included but bring your own everything else. The kids loved making a fort out of the bunk beds. We pre-purchased an activity bundle - saved $ on things the kids would be begging to do and it comes with a refillable beverage cup. The staff everywhere were super nice. Yes, there were some new hire employees or fill-ins in a couple of places that didn't know exactly what they were doing but they tried and were super nice - and they were the exceptions most everyone was trained well and did an exceptional job keeping our stay effortless. Shout out to Mrs. Pattie and Mrs. Kimberly who both had to step in before our vacation and on check in day, respectively, to fix some issues due to circumstances beyond our or Jellystone's control that could have been major before they ever caused a problem!! Your park came highly recommended by a friend of ours so we were really excited for our stay. Unfortunately the park did not meet our expectations. Upon arrival, our cabin was clean but as we drove around the grounds it did not appear well maintained at all. The basketball court had basketball hoops with loose netting and because of the rain during our stay there was standing water and mud everywhere. In addition there was fire ant hills everywhere, in addition to overgrown grass and weeds. The laser tag arena also looked neglected and looked like it was falling apart. In addition, the bear karaoke activity was just a teenager on a laptop that played songs. The petting zoo was full of mud also and animal feces. The most enjoyable part of the park was the water park and the day we went there were bees, fire ants and other bugs floating in the water and both sides of the park had to be evacuated due to fecal contamination. Let's just say for a place that charges a "resort fee" this place fell super short of expectations. We will not be coming back. Pros: staff were kind and very responsive to all needs. Mini golf upstairs was included in the cost and fun activity that was well maintained. read more

The cabins and activities themselves were absolutely amazing. But the pirates cove grill for food in the waterpark was the problem. We ordered churros and 40 minutes later still didn't have them. So we went and asked and they said they were out. Even though we had watched multiple people get them. So we simply asked for our money back. But they said they didn't know how to do that and asked if we wanted anything else. But they were out of most things. So we just got two drinks. But they were out of 3 different sodas. Once we picked what they had left it still took them 7 minutes to get is our sodas. Then they had no lids for the cups and they didn't even try to apologize for the inconvenience. read more

Check in Friday was smooth and easy, we pulled to the ranger station, gave our names, ID & card used to book the reservation and they were able to pull us up quickly and give us our key card right away. There is nothing I cannot say that would be enough to how much fun this place is for the family!!! My wife and I had planned this trip blindly from just googling for vacations for our 4 kids ranging in age from 6 to 15. We booked Monday thru Thursday in the first week in August at the Yogi Bear themed all inclusive camp ground. With the school season starting back up, it seemed to be the best time as the property was probably only 1/3 of the way full with residents. We booked a cabin on the Pirate ship as it seemed big enough to hold our brood of 6 in total. IT WAS SO BIG ON THE INSIDE!!! Bunk beds built into the walls, a full size kitchen (must bring own cookware and dining ware). the TV was medium sized and wall mounted so you could swivel. both Queen rooms with barn style doors had TVs as well. the AC was amazing! We also rented a Golf Cart for our stay which if you are not young or active or enjoy walking in the heat, you really should invest instead of driving your car around the property. If you stay in the Ship, your access to the waterpark (Lazy River, Free Cabana, water slides) are free. If you stay in any of the other cabins, the game zone only is included. Innertubes are rented for a nominal daily fee. However, if you wait long enough, people discard them all day long. We really didn't have enough time in the 4 days we were there to experience everything they had to offer; i.e.: Tie Dye events, arts and crafts, Beareoke, Nature hikes, paintball, firetruck rides, hay rides, fishing(catch-and-release), mazes, playgrounds... the property is so endless it seems and they are expanding to add a ranch! the themes of the cabins are amazing and too many to list! They really do have a size for everyone from couples to groups of 20. TeePees, Covered Wagons, Glamping Tents, Mountain Style Cabins, Lake side Style cabins, Silo cabins, RV spots, Tent spots. I would not be surprised if they eventually added space ships! We have decided to go again next summer but add a couple of days to the stay. they are also close to an HEB and Old town Burleson area. read more

If you like HAIR and FECES in your shower, sure. I wish I could fully explain here just how TERRIBLE this place is and how the staff, especially the "manager" Patty are terrible people who lack empathy. PLUMBING not working should be a top customer service concern, especially when someone is traveling with 4 small children and has spent over $300/night to be here. Had to harass guest services just to get clean towels for our family. Maintenance in and out for the duration of our stay leaving our cabin DIRTY and UNLOCKED. Asked to be refunded if we left and was told only if we were out in 30 minutes from that conversation. Oh and allllll those activities they advertise for your kids?? They will be "unavailable" the week you decide to go. NO ONE at this properties cares AT ALL. We was in the middle of construction day 1. It was horrible and then woke up to it on Sunday. We called to make sure about the burn band it had been lifted. We asked about grill and they said there was one on our spot no grill to be found. We tried day one to get the bundle we payed for. I wasn't able to pull up email so they couldn't take care of us. Super disappointed. Second day we was able to get help with bundle thanks to Kenlee. She was amazing. After arriving at park I email and chatted and still could get help. Alot of open spots that we could have been in out of construction zone. Zane was awesome in barn and walking with the bear. We delivered meat and cheese tray to the bear our last day. We stay at alot of parks and this one was very disappointing. Wish we had a better experience because at this time we will not be back. Spot 32 RV read more

We paid extra to stay in the ship at the Burleson location. The kitchen didn't include any dishes or even trash bags. You have to pack your own pots and pans. The floor was so dirty our feet were black. The activities at the new activity barn were sparse and lame. Many of the things advertised like the indoor pool aren't available for use since they are still under construction but no mention of this on the website. Everything is run by teenagers. Very few adults were visible. read more

Experience was fun overall, but the cabin was a bit smaller than the last one there were six of us so it got a bit crowded I had to share a bed and the cabin shower was super small but they had pools almost every where you went we swam a lot which was fun me and my cousins also went to pirates cove which is connected to jelly stone if you didn't know so that was fun we went down the drop slide which was scary goof'd around in the lazy river and did this water play ground thing that they had and that was fun the next day we went swimming and went to pirates cove and went to the kountry kreamery there I had big red ice cream and it was amazing then we swam more and then changed and went to the barn were there was a dance party which was really fun the dj was really nice and he played a lot of different dancing songs that the girls knew the moves to so that was fun we rented a golf cart but not the one we were supposed to get they gave us a 4 seater and we were supposed to have a 6 seater. read more

So disappointed fir the 4 th of July . The restrooms were filthy and to top it off someone put paper towels in all the toilets and stopped them up and they were all over the floors . Then we headed to the water park on Saturday in our truck (as we are not paying the price they want for golf carts) but back to Saturday heading over they gated off getting to the water park unless you are in a golf cart . So we had to drive down the highway and flip around come back to water park to get in bull shit . I was so pissed off .... The only thing good I can say is the red carpet area was nice minus having large trees . The water park for adults us boring because you basically had the lazy river . We rented a 2 bedroom suite 4 plex. We called to reserve & received a discount for being health professionals. We also pre-rented a 6 person golf cart for the 3 night stay about $124/day. We arrived at 8:15pm checked in at the guard gate, got our bracelets and room keys, got our golf cart right at the entrance and zipped to the bears den also in the same lot to get our convenient bears bracelet that will scan & charge our credit card instead of having to bring our wallet everywhere. Using this bracelet will give you 10% discount on purchases as well. Then we arrived at our lovely cabin suite. Ours was upstairs with a nice big balcony and has bbq pit and big picnic table. Inside there's a living room, full kitchen(bring all your kitchen essentials...there's nothing there except appliances). Full fridge, dish washer, microwave, oven, sink, coffee maker and washer/dryer right by the 4 full size bunk beds and 2 bedrooms. There's only 1 bathroom. Bathroom Door gets stuck on floor. Rooms are cold blankets are thin so bring blankets. Curtains do t keep out the light. It's by the freeway so you can hear cars. Overall we had a great time. So many activities to do. Restaurant only 1 on site in the waterpark. Staff there is so slow do we went off site to restaurants nearby less than 10 min away. There's a lake to go fishing )bring your own gear). The Good The cabin- 4 cup coffee maker, fridge with small freezer, countertops with plenty of space, microwave. A/C and heater unit worked well and was not noisy. Activities- plenty to do with tons on the schedule. Firewood and Ice available on site. Water Park/pools were clean and open Petting Zoo is open from 9-12 and perfect. Animals were friendly and well cared for with plenty of space. Kudos for a properly run petting zoo! Nature Trails- short and sweet but you can veer off into the creek if you want. Lots of squirrels and birds. Fishing Pond- definitely has perch in it. That's all we saw anyone catch. We caught 4. Fun for first timers. Texts- It was nice to have the park contact you and update with texts. Download the Campers App to have digital access to daily schedule. The Bad Rustic Cabin 1- Tub did not drain. Something in the cabin made noise all night. We unplugged everything trying to figure out what it was. Never did figure it out. Could have been drain noise from toilet or sink. The bed was ok. Better than sleeping on the ground. Super thin and small blanket. Bring one from home! Trash cans in the room are tiny. If staying longer than 2 days you will need to bring a trash bag. I noticed a lot of people asking for trash bags at the front desk. Activities- Whatever you want to play you will need to bring. Horseshoes/BeanBags/pingPong/Basketball/Gaga ball None are provided so bring your own. Wristband -processes are a nightmare. Wristband to get in. Sign waiver via text message. Go to front desk and get wristband signed that you signed waiver. Go to another desk to link credit card to another wristband. Didn't work so when I went to pay with wristband I still had to go get my card. Wristband processes need to be streamlined so EVERYONE receives ONE Bearband upon checking in that has already been waiver verified and attached to credit card ect. Fishing Pond- dirty, bags and stuff blown in. Need more Trash Cans ALL over the park. Trash cans are hard to find. The Ugly The road noise was ridiculous! I did not sleep either night because I could hear the big trucks and motorcycles. I sleep with earplugs and this did not even begin to drown out the sounds. There needs to be a wall built between the freeway and the cabins or the ones along the road need to come with a discount and a warning when booking. RC1 was the worst. We considered staying a third night but my lack of sleep was a deal breaker. Wish we had booked a tent site or spent a lot less $ for this cabin. read more

I am giving this place 2 stars because it was so fun for us as a family. The playgrounds, pools and activities were awesome. Riding around in the golf cart was so fun. The campgrounds are so nice and it would be really fun to have an RV and stay here. BUT we don't have an RV yet so we stayed in the overpriced 2 bedroom cabin. It was dirty. Very dirty. For the price we paid (over 500 for 2 nights) I would expect it to be cleaner. Gatorade bottle under the couch, roach in the closet and I don't know how long it's been since the place was mopped! Overgrown rose bushes near the walkway to the cabin. I have 4 boys including an 18 month old so that's a bit concerning. TIP- if you have a toddler like me I would suggest bring a VERY narrow baby gate or something to clock the stairs. They are very steep and on the top loft there is a balcony overlooking the living room area. Very dangerous for a toddler. I would suggest placing some hooks around the cabin to put bags and towels on. Maybe some tiny side tables next to the bed for glasses, drinks and phones. There's just no room for anything around the tiny cabin. The pictures make it look bigger. Bring a pillow! The pillows in my cabin were huge and hard as a rock. Hurt my neck pretty bad and the beds are rock hard. I would not pay so much to stay here in a cabin again because of the dirtiness. I'm not sure how much it cost to bring an RV but I would say yes we would probably do that. read more

This place is the worst. Most of the "Pirates Cove" was closed due to not having enough lifeguards but they had enough to watch that no one got in. We asked for a refund and they didn't budge. They will do anything they can to get more money out of you. Never go to this jellystone there is multiple jellystones across texas and mississippi. Just a half hour drive from our houses, Jellystone was a nice little escape from the 'burbs for a couple of nights. The Ulrich 1 cabin we stayed in could not have been in a better location. We were within sight of the Bear's Den where most of the activities occurred (movie nights, Bingo, start of the Barrel and the "Hey, hey, hey" rides, etc). For the things that were further away (bounce houses, maze, catch and release pond, bike rentals, ball sports, etc.) we were happy to walk over. Thankfully, the other family we went with brought a couple of bikes, which were perfect for exploring the expansive grounds. Coming in on Friday night and leaving Sunday morning was the perfect amount of time for us and our three-year-olds. Splitting the price of the cabin definitely made it more affordable but it's still a little on the high side (~$250/night). So my suggestions are: + Get as many people to split the cost with you as possible, but take as few cars as you can bc they will charge for more than 1 vehicle. + Bring your own bikes. + It's better to bring too much food than pay for the overpriced things they sell there (a burger will set you back $9) but if you Do need something random, there's a small store. Other than the cost of living within Jellystone Park, we had a very enjoyable experience and would definitely consider coming back! read more

This location Never has info. On booking wheelchair accessibility rooms.. they don't even mention people with disabilities on the website in the section on who all they accommodate. I have emailed multiple times over the last 3 years and they ignore us and don't respond to our accessibility questions and do not mention it on their website.. for years!! We ended up traveling to a different jellystone park 6 hours further to be accommodated. We are club Yogi members and it feels like a waist because we can't even attend the park in our home town area. I thought having this info. On your website was now required.. hopefully they get fined or something soon because their lack of information and availability to information regarding accessibility only furthers those with disabilities beliefs that they can't enjoy the outdoors or do the same things that they already doubt being able to do.. it's only depressed my amputee husband even further after his injuries to believe he can't do the same things with his sons that he used to do and our kids just miss out on these types of activities... I just got on again to try to see if they updated anything to see if we could possible go to this location near us and same old thing.. I have already tried to reach out to them over the years multiple times before writing a review.. If the other jellystone parks have accommodations as well as information on park and lodging accessibility on their websites and how to book accessible lodging.. that's super easy to find..( like the Guadalupe river location) then so can this park!! Cabin- There are several issues I have noticed. The cabin upkeep has deteriorated. Broken and unfixed door knobs. Another safety hazard was the grill was right next to the pine tree. A good flame could start a good fire. We also had a non-pet home but the couch and pillows smelled like dog pee. This is not the same park I came to 3 times before this. Waterpark - The water park staffing was minimal. No management or leadership easily available. Issues with quantity of tubes. They seriously had 3 double tubes for the big slides. We had to wait in line each time to wait on 1/3 tubes. This is not acceptable for the amount of people at the park. Also, same goes for the blue mats needed for the speed slides. There was maybe 12 available to use. A line would build up for the 100s of people in the park. This is truly unacceptable for a water park of this size. The staffing life guards had no clue why just 3 tubes were available when asked. As for the kids, no life jackets in site. Only on the ground, when a kid would drop one. Not sure what has happened here with leadership and management, but it has deteriorated since my last visit 1 year ago prior to covid. Upkeep and putting money back into the park is much needed. read more
