The accommodations were clean, amazing large rooms and comfy beds! Our a/c was fantastic and did a great job keeping the room cold, even in the heat of the day. The park offers so many fun activities that the kids never get bored! We always stay an extra day so that we can spend quality time with the kids and try to do as many of the activities as possible. This year they had two new attractions - the snowless snowboarding and I can't remember the name of the other one, but they were awesome! They also have employees who specialize in helping organize large groups with their accommodations. We have had the same person helping our family for going on 5 years now. Her name is Darla and she is our "hero" when it comes to Jellystone! Honestly, she is the reason we always vote to come back year after year. At the previous place that we held our reunion for over 15 years, they sold and we became just a number to them. Darla has treated us as family from day one. Here's the revised version: We recently stayed at North Texas Jellystone for two nights to celebrate mine and my 9-year-old's birthdays. The room itself was nice and clean, but since it was a warm Thursday, the AC struggled to cool the room as much as we would have liked. In the middle of summer, I would definitely recommend bringing a fan just in case. Unfortunately, our planned waterpark day was rained out, and the waterpark was closed the next day. Since this trip was a big deal for our family and something we had saved up for, we decided to rent a golf cart on Friday so the kids would still have something fun to do instead of being stuck in the room all day. When we picked up the golf cart, it already looked rough and had visible damage. My husband even joked about it with the employee who gave us the keys, and the employee acknowledged that the damage had already been documented. On Saturday, we returned the golf cart before noon and went to the park to try to enjoy our last day. About an hour later, I received a call from Andrea, the manager, saying the golf cart had been returned damaged and asking me to call her back. I tried calling her back multiple times, but it went straight to voicemail. Before I was ever able to speak with her, Jellystone charged me $750. At that point, we had to pack up our kids and leave the park early to get it handled, which completely cut our birthday celebration short. Thankfully, the employee who had checked the golf cart out to us vouched for us, and Andrea said the charge would be refunded. However, she did not offer an apology or anything to make the situation right, even though we had been charged a large amount of money without anyone speaking to us first. We were really disappointed with how the situation was handled, especially by management. For a family like ours, this trip was not cheap and was something we saved for, so having $750 charged without warning was extremely stressful. My biggest advice to anyone staying here is to take pictures of everything: your room, your golf cart, and anything you rent or use. Unfortunately, based on our experience, you may be charged for damage you did not cause if you do not have proof.

She also is quite offensive in how she talks about the residents and others around the place. They threaten action for the smallest issues (like eviction for reports of dog poop in the yard despite you picking up after your dogs. Mary also makes up rules on the spot if she doesn't like you for whatever reason. One of my favorites is that they don't allow gas-powered vehicles on the property (like golf carts) but she drives around in an incredibly loud Mule UTV. The location is nice, and the amenities are decent, but the people you deal with up there are horrible. Every transaction I have had with them over the last year has been bad. If you use their storage they charge you for the full month and no refunds or proration. Their excuse is that the owner thinks the amount is "just so cheap". It's not in their contract, nor is it talked about at the start of the contract. Additionally if you start service there they will not let you setup separate accounts for your business and your personal uses. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU PLAN TO ENJOY YOUR LIFE.

It is a beautiful place, very clean and well kept. If you are coming in with family, this is perfect, but if you want to hike, this is not your spot.

Great stay! We have…read morestayed here a few times and this is my first review. This time, we stayed here 2 weeks. We're up front in pull-through site 44. Yes, the road noise is apparent. We didn't mind it as we stay inside the RV most of the time. The site itself was great. The sites are long, wide, have a grass yard and a concrete pad and patio. Power, water and sewer worked well. We only used their WiFi as backup as we're using a cell-based Internet solution and were connected to AT&T. I have several interactions with the office staff and all were quite favorable. We even asked to use the kitchen in the clubhouse and that was approved both times. Trish, the manager was always very pleasant and accommodating. Some other things we like: - They sell a 10# bag of ice for $2. We use a lot of ice, so that was nice. - They text us when a package arrives for us. - They sell propane onsite. - They have a pool and a hot tub and they just got done refinishing both and got them opened during our stay. - They have laundry rooms at 2 locations within the park. We used the larger one. - They have plans to add more amenities this year. We look forward to the next time we stay at Oak Creek RV Park.
