Overall, the combination of strict rules, cleanliness issues, and unfriendly members makes this gym hard to recommend. There are better options nearby that value both safety and customer experience.

We have loved every teacher he has had and we LOVE Aubrey (Manager). He has grown to feel comfortable with multiple staff members and he truly enjoys class every time we come. I won't say that there are days where he wants more sleep, is having a teething day or regression, but out of the hundreds of classes we have come to, he maybe has had a handful only of "bad days". The teachers always accommodated to his attitude days and we managed each time! It's great to know that you're not alone in having a wild child or rough days. Moms and dads alike always welcome you and just joke about the terrible days. It's just an inviting place as a whole! Autumn, Emmaline, Eliana, and Caitlyn have all been just delightful. We have had Caitlyn through his first year and now we have her for his level 2/ first independent swimming class series and he LOVES her. She is honestly one of my favorite people ever. She makes swimming and learning fun for them, she explains what they need to work on, and allows your child to work for themselves as well so you know the classes are working! You can also tell that everyone has a lot of experience working with very young children. They take pride in what they do.

They were squealing with excitement every time we would pull up to Swimming Fishies. The upbeat atmosphere gets the kids excited. My kids particularly loved Coach Gavin and Coach Addy. The owner Danielle seems to genuinely care about her students and their safety around water. You can tell she is very passionate about what she does. In this modern culture where everyone gets a participation trophy and the kids seem to be the ones running the show, I really appreciated a place where the teacher is in charge and the student needs to listen and follow instructions. We did not have a good experience with swimming fishies. We had been to 1 swim school before and 2…read moresince, and this one was by far the worst. It is all gimmicks and marketing. For 1 lesson they talked to her about scooping her hands for ice cream and tying a band around her legs and by the next lesson they thought it was time to throw her in and let her go at it. They claimed she was "swimming"....she was struggling, floundering with no technique, and gasping for air when she would come up. That is how they promise their kids learn to swim faster, their standard for "swimming" is actually nearly drowning to anyone else watching. The coaches were young, inexperienced, and would give attitude to the kids if they lost their patience with them. We signed up as soon as they opened and even then I never saw the owner in the water doing classes or training her coaches. My 4 year old daughter hated coming and would cry and plead that I never send her back. (I would too if I was drowing multiple times in class every week). It became too much for her to handle and too uncomfortable for me to sit by and watch so I notified the owner that I was giving my notice to cancel classes. She didn't respond for weeks and then had the audacity to use the date she read the email as the date of notice cancellation. I let her know the date was wrong and she never responded. I disputed the charge and got threated by her husband to be sent to collections. I sent them their own policy (which I had luckily pre-saved since they tried changing it), copy of my original email, and the correct calculation of when I should have been charged until. Never heard back and they didn't even try to send me to collections because they were in the wrong. We have since found a different swim school that is amazing. They don't use gimmicky swim devices, they are kind but firm, my kids love going, and the owner is in the water all day every day. My daughter has learned more in 2 weeks at her new swim school then she did in months at swimming fishies.

Most parents sit in the waiting area where you can still see your child swim through the glass walls. They are very busy and availability has been somewhat challenging for my daughter to continue additional daily lessons but I can see why!
