The instructors and the trainers are top-notch! They are very well trained and totally love what they do. Every single class that I attend, couldn't be any better! I walk in with excitement and walk out feeling extremely accomplished because of the care that I get from each and every person at Lifetime. The staff care so much about presenting a clean and perfect gym! it is so nice when you can have an all in one gym with a life spa and a life café! I use it all! Unfortunately, the basketball courts are consistently treated as repurposable "shared space" for camps, birthday parties, and other non-basketball programming, while other dedicated areas like pickleball, yoga, and cycle studios maintain far more protected use. Ruthie Cooper, Lead General Manager, also stated that as of May 22, the courts will be reserved for Summer Camp from 7am to 6pm daily, plus a 15-minute grace period, further limiting member access. The courts themselves are often poorly maintained and not cleaned to the standard expected from a premium club. Many long-time basketball members have voiced concerns, but access continues to shrink despite strong and consistent participation. While local staff have been professional in communication, the overall handling of basketball member needs has been disappointing and does not reflect the experience many of us believed we were paying for.

We weren't allowed to go down the kid slides with our toddler (even the one that is wide enough for four people is one person at a time, even tiny kids). The lifeguard assured me that he would catch my son at the bottom and then hold him until I could get him. Well, my son started down the slide and got stuck. The lifeguards wouldn't let my husband slide down to him to unstick him, but instead insisted on walking down themselves. One lifeguard got him going, but then he got stuck again. The lifeguard from the bottom walked up, put my son on his lap, and rode down with him. How this was any more effective than allowing my husband to either A. ride with him in the first place or B. slide down and ride with him when he got stuck (just like the lifeguard did) is beyond me. Also, there was a ton of flirting and horseplay from the lifeguards. They were not professional. And the music being broadcasted is from a lifeguard's iPod and little speaker set. They frequently change a song halfway through or skip songs. The concession stand prices and food are decent, but expect microwaved hot dogs/corn dogs. Overall this is an okay place to go for the price, but I much prefer Chisholm Park and will go there from now on.

The good, the bad, and the ugly…read more The Good- I have found this business to be such a beneficial haven for teaching water safety at very young ages. My father reminds me that there was nothing like this when I was a child, so I can say I am truly blessed. The staff are always bright eyed and bushy tailed, though, I have seen some of the swim teachers grab a red bull before the start class. I sum this up to: everyone has a life outside of work. Still these teachers are working hard and always on top of it. Often there are little events that give treats or celebrations to the kids, and recently there has been an upgrade for the parents! COFFEE BAR! I don't know what parent has survived child raising without a little bean water here and there. This location recently started a coffee bar that has 3 (2 caffeinated and 1 decaf) types of coffees, the sugars, creamers, and even some hot chocolate for the kids! It is nicely displayed and organized with two Keurig's. I really must say it is another blessing to have the convenience of trusted teachers caring for my child and her growth with water safety and coffee to help me tackle the challenges I will go on to experience outside the home. If you are reading this and considering coming here, there's more. :) The staff are very accommodating when you have a change in your schedule and need a different class to join. There is also an app that helps you see your next four weeks out and plan to cancel a lesson because you will be out of town. This is also where you can sign up for your "make-up" classes. The Bad- Hmm. A few things to discuss. We have been attending now for 7 months and for my infant we have had 3 teachers assigned. This can be disorienting for the child, but also the parent swimming with the baby. Each teacher has a different method of introduction and sequence of the lesson. This can be confusing once you're set on the sequence from the previous teacher. Only once was this change made without a notice ahead of time, but might happen more often to other parents. A bad about the app is that you can only schedule your make-up classes a week in advance, but you can cancel a class up to four weeks ahead of time. The Ugly - Over the course of 7 months there have been 4 or 5 classes canceled for all the customers. There have been issues with the pool temperature mechanism, a chlorine ratio issue (too much), and weather disruptions. Most of these events are not preventable, but customers should be aware that they will NEED to plan to use their "make-up" classes. I would give a 4 star because there are negatives, but with the level of customer service and friendliness I have received from the staff, they deserve 5 stars. Come try out the Aqua-tots at N Richland Hills and while you're at it grab a cup of coffee ;)

The pool is mainly for…read moreschool purposes, so it can be a bit frustrating when they say there is lap swim and all lanes are taken. If you remind yourself the pool is mainly for the kids, then it helps the sting of getting to the pool and having no lap lanes available. Having lived in multiple states and having swum at many pools, always having a set number of lanes open to the public is one way to get around that. But they try very hard to be accommodating. To the reviewers of the front desk: Monica and the rest of the staff are actually very nice. My first 1-2 visits were cordial, but after just a few visits you'll realize they are very nice and caring. Plus everyone has a bad day. The pool manager and lifeguards are also very kind. To the mother who's kids were cold: the pool is kept in the low 80's. I used to teach swim lessons and many children shiver. So they just must keep moving. A pool warmer than the low 80's is too hot for competitive swimming, which is what this pool is designed for. You might search out a pool that works with folks with medical problems or a pool designed only for giving lessons. Those pools are kept around 90 degrees. It's also a myth that you can catch a cold from being cold. So most likely your kids were already sick when they got to the pool.

Certainly experienced better. Appreciate 'trying' to offer lap swim. However, don't count on lap…read moreswim on the weekend. An annual subscription seems like a bad idea since no real fulfillment of 'scheduled' hours really exists currently.
