They tried to scam me…read more I went in for an oil change like I've done before here. Then Kwik Kar did other basic car checks like testing my battery. They told me my battery was at 12% and would die soon. They tried to scam me to get $200 out of me for a new battery that I didn't need. I know because the battery was less than a year old. Worried though, I went to check it at an auto store. They told me my car battery was fine and at 100%. Now I can never trust them again if they lie about a simple battery. It's extremely upsetting. It got me stressed and wasted my time getting it checked out someplace else. Unfortunately, the auto store said they seen this a lot. I will attach pictures below of the battery test they (Kwik Kar) presented and the auto store presented. Please don't go here. Especially if you're a woman! They'll try to take advantage of you.

Now, in my right mind again, I found DFW Bimmer's website, called and spoke with Jesse. He was very responsive and knowledgeable over the phone about my problems. Therefore, I made an appointment to bring my car in for diags. Not only did Jesse determine the resolution to the problems I reported, but he also found other CRITICAL issues that needed to be dealt with immediately! Samantha and Jesse (and Jesse's daughter - I don't know her name) were all very pleasant to deal with and I completely appreciate that. Waiting for my car to be fixed was indeed a pleasure because of such friendly people to interact with. No more overheating as a result of Jesse's work. I FOUND A NEW HOME FOR MY BIMMER! Told them on the phone, wrote it down on inital paper work, checked again on the phone when I confirmed payment/deposit, and when I picked up/final payment. It was always "we will check" but last day he just said IDK, the mech never mentioned vibration (like I haven't brought it up a million times already). I could have took it to a shop that did transmission and suspension (which I almost did) but I feel they led me on as if they could do it just so they get my transmission money and me not take it somewhere else but knowing they weren't doing anything with the suspension. LSS, truck still vibrates at speed (have to figure that out some way) and transmission seems ok, for now. 6mth warranty, $2,250 rebuild.

I had to return it for repairs, which only lasted for about two months before failing once more. Their sole objective seems to be to fix the transmission to allow the vehicle to be driven for six months beyond the warranty period, after which they become no longer responsible for the repairs. Consequently, I had to rent a car for two weeks to transport my son to school. If you are not willing to incur financial losses, I strongly recommend avoiding this establishment. I am currently at a loss as to what to do with my car. Before bringing your vehicle in for a transmission rebuild, I strongly advise you to thoroughly read all the negative reviews. Many customers have experienced similar issues as I have. I am writing this review to prevent other customers from making the same financial mistakes as I have.
