They denied any wrongdoing a day later I look under my engine and see that my compressor that they installed is completely unattached to the engine and wobbling all over the place...their diagnosis after a $130 tow was that the bracket that hold the compressor was cracked and that it wasn't their fault either. The mechanic that took out old compressor and installed new one broke that bracket! They know it and I know it...They charged me an additional $ and refused to reimburse my tow cost. Do a NOT use their service s. They are all liars there stealing from customers hard earned money. I challenge the owner to "take ownership" and refund my money and reimburse me the $130 cost for tow.

I got my car today with supposedly a new battery and got to Kroger's and BAM-Car did not start. So $1500 plus all the Uber costs over the last 2 week=getting close to $2k wasted. Here's what I think of TDP, Jan. 30, 2024 was the invoice date for finally having my 05' CTS-V…read moreTremac T-56 manual transmission supposedly rebuilt by TDP for the first time since I bought the car off the lot in 05', my car has 225,985 miles on the original transmission and engine. Out of warranty (they have a one year warranty) and less than 8,000 miles on the tranny, with normal driving (I don't even do burnouts, let alone racing) my transmission had to be completely rebuilt, again! The shop who did the new rebuild is one of the most reputable transmission shops in Orange County CA, very well known and specializing in Corvette transmissions (wish I went to them in the first place). They walked me through all the parts that had to be replaced and showed me what was done before based on TDP's invoice, they didn't bad mouth or disparage TDP in any way shape or form, they let me come to my own conclusion by presenting the parts and procedure they had to go through to make my transmission correct. TDP invoiced me $3,494.45 for the rebuild (+ $400.00 for shipping it back and forth to CA.), my new rebuild invoice is $4,591.06. Now, I know exactly what is inside my new transmission. I now have a transmission that has been rebuilt twice, in less than 2 years and cost me $8,085.51 + $400.00 in shipping. $8485.51 in total, This was a very expensive lesson to learn and my point is to ALWAY'S be sure you're getting what you pay for. Based on my experience I would never recommend Texas Drivetrain Performance! If I could give you a zero star, I would!
