Bought a ram 2500, came with " clean carfax". Couple days later realized the taillights don't match. Then there's primer over spray all around the rear end. This truck was absolutely rear ended! How it got a clean carfax?!?! Two days after that truck stalls out on the interstate pullin my trailer the first time. Have the truck towed to local diesel shop, turns out it needs a fuel pump. $1,525 dollars and four hours later truck is fixed!!! Drive back to where I left my locked brand new trailer and it had been stolen in broad daylight on the side of the interstate. Shared this with North Texas Truck Stop, did they offer to help out with the repairs? No! Did they offer to reimburse me for repairs? No! will I ever come back or recommend them to anyone ? Hell no.Thank you so much, I'm out $1,500 in repairs and $7,500 on a brand new trailer because this truck should of never been on the market! read more

I don't recommend this dealership at all. Avoid at all costs. Do not trust what you are told! These Guys tried to raise the price by $ 1000.00 and then they tried to make me have to pay $100 week in payments for a truck that should of cost $168 a month . Avoid at all costs. I enquired about a vehicle they had listed on eBay and on their website, a late model 1 ton GMC. I am an out of state buyer. I sent several emails back and forth regarding price point, shipping, and a possible trade in. Instead of having a conversation or discussion about the vehicle like you would expect in the car buying process I received nothing but a rude and condescending attitude from Dave the sale contact. Avoided directly answering my statements and comments about a trade in and acted as if I knew nothing about the vehicle. Dave flatly said they don't take offers yet their own website has a make offer option on every truck listed. I've been in the vehicle upfitting business for many years and am no stranger to the automotive world. I never would have treated a customer with such contempt. I had arranged my own financing and as such would have bough the vehicle outright regardless of what deal we could or could not agree to for a trade. What happened to simply being up front and saying " we can't make that deal" and moving on in the process, instead ending up in pissing match as the sales contact apparently became personally insulted. Even after stating I will take my business elsewhere Dave continued to email and argue with my and calling my cell phone repeatedly. Apparently they don't know when to walk away, what happened to business being business. So, they lost out on a 38K truck sale paid on a bank draft check. I wonder how they make any money read more

I don't recommend this dealership at all. My son just purchased a pre-owned Ford Diesel from them back in December... here it is 3 months later and he is having to completely replace the engine on it. It's going to cost my 20 year old son $12,000. I won't EVER recommend this place to anyone ever again! read more

I wish I could tell you that this review was on a positive note; I can't even when this is the second truck I purchased from them. The initial truck was great, so buying another one was a 50% great deal or 50% a crap deal. I am in the crap deal right now. I have just had the truck inspected and found that the truck needs over $4,300 in major repairs from ball joints to tires to A/C systems. Yes you sign an AS IS document, but you are hoping you are dealing with a group of individuals who place value in their service. I drove over 14 hours from Florida to pickup this truck. I was a fool. I now find that I must take the truck to a Ford Diesel Repair shop, which is not included in the $4,300 current repair bill to have the engine serviced as it appears now that engine is not working at full capability for some reason. Bottom line is that I would NOT RECOMMEND and I WOULD AVOID AT ALL COST doing business with this company. I find more one star rating and repair cost on so many of their reviews that I wish I could return this truck to them and have them repair it before it is ever sold again. NEVER DEAL WITH THEM. This truck was for a long awaited family dream of pulling a 5th wheel. Now the dream is gone, we are in debt for the truck, and a long list of repairs. STAY AWAY.......Frankly I would not give them one star. Tried to talk to them about the number of repairs and "sorry it is not our problem" attitude. I came here with a buddy to do a little window shopping for him and I left decided that this would be the next place I buy my next truck from. They have a very large inventory that is constantly rotating, which is a plus and a minus at the same time. The staff is very friendly and not pushy like at majority of other dealers. Do not trust what you are told! I was in the market for a truck after selling my last one. I had never bought a truck on the internet from somewhere NOT easily reachable from my home. When I first contacted NTTS things seemed to go well. The salesperson seemed friendly and willing to help. I had many questions because I was skeptical about buying a truck in this manner. I had VERY specific questions for the salesperson about what the condition was of the truck, how it was equipped, how it was used, did everything work properly, etc. I reviewed the web image/description with a fine tooth comb. When I found discrepancies in the website description I asked about them when, for example, the description for how it was a equipped was inaccurate. The response from the sales person was "well, those internet guys get things mixed up sometimes or don't always update them." I should have thrown the brakes on right then but I had built a level of trust with the salesman (if you are reading this you know who you are) and reluctantly accepted his explanation. Although the truck had over 100K miles on it I wasn't really concerned because it was a diesel and usually they are just hitting their stride at 100K. But I asked anyway and was assured the engines, and for that matter the whole truck was in really nice condition. To make a longer story shorter, after all the assurances I bought the truck, one month and less than 1k miles later it's in the shop for over $2000 in engine repairs. I had driven the truck from the drop off point to my house (about 1 mile) and it sat for 2 days waiting for licensing to complete. Drove it about 100 miles and SURPRISE! The check engine light comes on! The first look at the cause was one where if the check engine light was reset it would stay off for about 100 miles before the onboard computer recognized that there was an emission problem that wasn't going away, so you figure out what happened there; it's easy. That was my FIRST issue, there have been many since. I won't drag this out any further but will close by saying DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM HERE!! Unless it's brand new and there is another reputable dealer around for service. I made several calls and texts to the dealer and sales person but never heard back after I signed the papers and the truck was delivered. You decide however I will never buy a vehicle of any kind from here again, my bad......... read more

I made the trip from Lubbock Texas to Mansfield Texas to purchase a used GMC pickup, 330 miles. The truck appeared clean and the website provided plenty of pics. I requested additional pics and they quickly accommodated my request. The trip to make the deal was memorable. Sadly i was involved in a minor traffic accident along interstate 20. I was in a difficult position. I didn't know if I should proceed to North Texas Truck with my damaged truck or turn around and go home. I talked with the dealer I had been dealing with and also talked to the owner. They first inquired if I was OK, expressing concern for my well being. After I told them of my concerns about the condition of my vehicle they ask me to share some pics of the damage. They felt they could still make a deal with me and to come on out to Mansfield. Once there the owner assured me that my vehicle was still valuable and he was still interested in my truck. He directed me to a local Maaco collision repair shop down the street. I drove my truck there and they made a quick assessment of my vehicles condition. There was no major damage, no frame damage. I left the truck there and proceeded to North Texas Truck Stop and made the purchase of the used GMC truck. The truck was as advertised. No problems at all. Once my truck was repaired and the insurance settled I was given a fair offer on my old truck, I based this on my own KBB research. It was a memorable truck buying experience and I would consider doing business with them again in the future. read more

Ethics. Bought an 09 Duramax from them. Neglected to let me know the engine had been replaced. Immediately had to replace the housing unit for the fuel injection, front bearings, and 4,000 miles later spent 5k on work on the tranny due to misalignment of the engine and tranny from the replacement. Will never buy there or recommend someone to them again. read more

Heres a story! First off the service was absolutely fine, they aren't pushy, very friendly, nice clean dealership. I have nothing to complain about in that aspect. They did give me that BS salesmen pitch about putting a hold on the truck because another guy was going to be down there that afternoon, ya ya. As far as buying a vehicle goes, if you live in Texas then just be smart buyer. If your coming from out of state (like I did) then have them send you detailed pics of every part of that car or truck, engine bay, brakes, underneath, exhaust, etc and get service records BEFORE you fly or drive out there. It looked good on their pictures online and mileage wasn't bad so I flew out there and I was coming from Seattle. Upon arriving in Dallas I was picked up from one of their associates, nice gentlemen. When we got to the dealership the truck didn't look quite like the pictures, I never even seen the rhino liner materiel on the bottom of the truck let alone the rhino liner fender flares, the inside wasn't nearly as nice as the pictures franklly nothing was. My biggest mistake was not really looking underneath the truck or really inspecting the engine bay. My mentality was I flew 2000 miles I'm not about to buy another ticket and fly back. Well anyway I decided to proceed with the purchase. While I was driving back it felt sluggish but it did get me home. Over the past couple months I've replaced the spark plugs, ignition coils, changed the oil, intake, cleaned the throttle body. The salesmen I spoke with assured me that a full service and tune up was done when the vehicle came in ,which was complete BS. The spark plugs were shot and its a Ram so there's 16 of them. The oil was blacker than night. As far as cosmetic stuff they clearly put a bra on the front of the hood to hide a dent, they put very cheap fender flares on to hide the scratches on the stock fenders and installed them very poorly. A lot of rust or that Texas clay mud I don't know which and I know that has nothing to do with them. The truck has had issue after issue. Long story short if your from out of state I would reconsider or just don't be an idiot like me. Do your homework. Sorry about the rant I was just bored I guess. read more

Never will I ever consider coming here or suggesting this place ever again. I came in here, and the sales guy was awesome. He fed me, kept me company, and waited on me. But he also fed me total and complete BS. The truck I was looking at was a 2007 6.0 Powerstroke that was lifted, 4 wheel drive, tuned, the whole 9-yards. Badass truck all in all. No blow by, sounded amazing. No biggy. They told me there's not a thing wrong with this truck and it will run me a million miles. Well, it ran me 2,000 miles before it shut off and it never started again. I took it to the mechanic and there were all sorts of things wrong with this trucks engine that he said should have been reported to me at the time of purchase. If their mechanic truly looked at this truck they would know that this truck was a true piece of shit coated with diamonds. (I'm no mechanic. I look at the basics, no blow by, no leaks, starts right up, under carriage looks good, couple other things and let's roll) Now I'm having to foot the $12,000 bill for a new power stroke. And when I called to complain, their owner hung the phone up on me mid sentence. Save yourself some time and money and drive right on past this place, don't slow down, don't hit the brakes, don't even waste your time looking at this place.. just keep going.
