Addressing my situation After a heart attack in 2020, I went through several weeks of cardiac rehab, and I knew I would need to find a way to continue my exercise program. Fortunately I found True Fitness. I spoke with one of the owners, Gina, and I explained my situation. Gina set me up with a trial month, then a standard membership, and I started attending group sessions. I continue to be amazed at the amount of personal attention each member gets during each workout. The other owner, Ryan, is super knowledgable and has taken a personal interest in setting me up with a workout routine with my condition in mind. After six months of attending True Fitness, I feel better, stronger and healthier than I have been in years. I visited several gyms in North Phoenix before deciding, and most of them focused on high-impact, CrossFit-style workouts that just weren't right for me. Chris stood out immediately. The program is the perfect mix of cardio and strength training. Katie and her coaches mix up the routines to keep you learning and working different muscle groups.
