Jenny (Mexican lady) the lab tech can stick a needle in once and get a good vein. We have always had issues with finding and getting stuck and even having to use the ultra sound machine to find one. Yes, I would recommend his business. I would also recommend they train their Desk people to be a little bit more customer friendly. Most of the people that come here are mature (elderly). The staff should be trained to understand that leaving a sample, if somebody tells them there's some urgency, they may have to listen very carefully to what they have just been told. Unfortunately, I can't say that that has any meaning to the current staff. They seem to think they can't "give out a cup" to somebody who has a "problem" and they need to ask a supervisor to do so. The supervisor wasn't present, so of course they couldn't give the cup out. Decision-making should be at the lowest level and certainly with a smile to the people who make their jobs possible. I vote yes to NGDC, but with a caveat, they need to train customer facing people better. read more

spent 2 days trying to get an urgent appointment, repeted calls to their nurse line, never could get an appointment. Been patient there for over 20 years. Nurse triaged me as urgent, but only was able to speak with them when I kept calling. Left a message to speak with "Jason" in customer service, sat by the phone all day, and of course he calls back when I step away. And as is ALWAYS is the case, if they dont get you, they never try again. Why people think you can sit there all day with your phone in your hand and they only need to make 1 random try once you have given up all hope of a call back I can't fathom. I wish that I could give minus 5 stars. My husband and I have no complaint about Dr. Barrett but the office staff is intolerable. They are rude, arrogant, will not listen, constantly interrupt, and are generally unhelpful. They treat us as though we are an enemy to be defeated. After the first visit the doctor ordered three prescriptions for my husband. He waited and waited for the prescriptions to arrive. He finally called the office to ask what happened to the scripts. Nobody had sent them to the pharmacy. Then the office called to inform my husband of a test result. When he tried make an observation he was immediately shut down and argued with. We will not tolerate having an adversarial relationship with the doctor's office. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this awful group of people. read more

I have been connected to the Gainesville Diagnostic Center for many years now. I had colon cancer, and, then, metastatic colon cancer to the liver and right lung. Dr. Padma Nadella has been attentive to my particular needs for 8 years now. She and her staff and all the caring nurses who attended, (and, are still attending to me), during 6 months of Chemotherapy have been courteous, thoughtful, thorough, attentive, kind, and knowledgeable about my cancer concerns. I felt/feel as if everyone worked/works well together. I trust these women implicitly. And, my Oncologist has been stellar. These caring individuals are a great team, and these women have, frankly, seen me through very rough and uncomfortable life events. After waiting 8 weeks for an appointment to see a specialist and after filling out their mindless paper work ,via their web site, and after arriving at the time their System said my appointment was scheduled for, I am told that I am 30 minutes late, that they have no record of my already filed paper work and that I will now have to wait 6 weeks to get an appointment with a PA not the doctor I need to see. It is clear that if you have any choice in the matter Do Not Utilize this clinic for any of your medical needs. Their administrative office and related appointment setting and control process is Useless. Doctors working here are well aware of these issues and they all sympathize with you but apparently are unable to affect the changes needed to service their patients! read more

I went to see Ralf augenstein today, on December 7, 2021, because i haven't slept since Thanksgiving of this year. I could tell my blood levels were off, and I was due to be tested again anyway. I asked for a full metabolic panel to see what was going on with me. So, instead, he said he could do that, but my levels haven't changed from April to August. So, i didn't need to be tested. I told him, that was a long time ago. He decided to treat my sleep problems by giving me a medication, which I've tried them all. And they haven't worked in the past. He said that there's nothing he could do and suggested I see a psychiatrist because he thinks I have depression, which I don't. Are there any doctors out there who actually care about their patients and actually do what they're supposed to do? Do any doctors abide by their hippocratic oath anymore? read more

Where to start - I arrived 10 minutes early and didn't wait in waiting room long. Nurse Megan was super friendly. The doctor came in and spent more time transferring my paperwork into his laptop than with me. I didn't get to talk until he asked a question and then i was cut off mid sentence. After relocating to Georgia I immediately began to search for new local medical providers in a wide array of various practice specialty disciplines. I found that Northeast Georgia Diagnostic Clinic was able to provide me with practitioners in each specialty field so scheduled appointments. At my previous provider, Vanderbilt University Medical, wait times to see specialist or a new primary care doctor was seldom a quick process. Most times I had to wait 4 - 6 months to see a new doctor. I was amazed that I was able to see both a Pulmonologist and Primary Care Physician in less than two weeks. I was highly impressed with the staff that I have seen and interacted with both in person and over the phone. Both doctors I have seen have been attentive to my needs and spent time with me that I felt was adequate to get the information needed to effectively know my medical history and to treat me. Wait times can be a little long which seems to be customary in the medical field. That was one area Vanderbilt seemed to master, you never had to wait on a provider but they also sent out customer experience surveys after each visit. Also, the user portal (App) uses a third party, FollowMyHealth, is easy to use but lacks a lot of basic functionality that I am used having but as a smaller clinic it is better than some others I have used. I have recommended NEGDC to my family for their healthcare needs. read more

The doctor I see here seems to be good. However... the overall clinic is less than the one star rating I've given. Communication is absolutely nonexistent. Good luck trying to call someone. You'll stay on hold for at least 45 minutes. And leaving a message is a joke. Messages are never returned. I've been trying to get a medication refilled for three weeks (even made an appointment to see the doctor to ask for it) and after being assured it was handled, the prescription has never been sent to the pharmacy. Been going to this clinic for 12 years now and still having same problems as when I started problem is the doctors I see only care about seeing you for 10 minutes and then over billing you my wife goes here also and last year she had appointment with her cardio doctor on Friday had a MRI done on Monday was told nothing wrong with her but migraines she had a blood vessel ruptured on Thursday 3 days later in her brain and was in hospital for 38 days this is unsatisfactory care in my book I have been told by 3 doctors that it is policy of NGDC for the doctors to see a patient every 15 minutes and bill as much as possible the place needs to be investigated by the federal hospitol board read more

I needed a new nephrologist. I contacted them about getting an appointment. I talked to Callie and she was quite nice. I was told to have my records sent and they would set it up. Three weeks later I called again and talked to Shona. She was quit rude. She said that she had no knowledge of my calling or of finding any records. I had already been that that they had been sent and told her. She said that they could not help me and to get it straight and they would be in touch. That was six weeks ago. The Diagnostic clinic has been my primary care provider for 16 years. I have been quite healthy so they have never really had much to solve with me. However five years ago I started telling them that I could not feel the bottoms of my feet ... my big toe etc. They sent me to a neurologist who did a MRI of my spine who told me that I had a slightly pinched nerve in my back and for two years I did back exercises to help with that problem. Each year I have gone back to the diagnostic clinic for my annual physical and discussed the loss of feeling in my feet getting worse and worse. The lack of sensation in my feet has caused me to take several bad falls because balance is now a problem for me due to the lack of feeling in my feet. The answer I've been given for the last four years has been normal aging has caused this lack of feeling. It turns out A new friend of mine is a local neurologist. I told him about the issue with my feet and he immediately asked me to come into his office and diagnosed me with CIDP. The primary tool to hold CIDP in check is the use of an IVIG there are several blood related formulas which can be given in the IV I G format. The one with my neurologist prescribed it's not offered by the diagnostic clinic's IVIG program. NB The IV I G prescription he wants filled happens to be the only IV I G program that is approved by the FDA. So the diagnostic clinic has failed me. First of all while I have never complained during the 16 years they have shuffled me from doctor to doctor none of which did I ever meet until this past spring because all of the doctors passed me off to a physicians assistant. They told me that a very serious condition that was shockingly clear to my neurologist as soon as I took my shoes off was just normal aging. They have an IV I G clinic and customers with a similar problem to mine using it and yet in spite of the fact that they misdiagnosed me so severely they won't even check into beginning to use the prescription required by my neurologist. They have very rude customer service, a horrible bedside manner and will cancel you as a patient if you reschedule 4 appointments in a two year timeframe no what the reoccurrence of appointments may be. If the treatment they prescribe doesn't work they will just increase your dosage time and time again. I had the worst experience with Nephrologist Kim Tran M.D.. She was horrible. My mother is 78 yoa and a retired registered nurse. Ms Tran talk to us like we were idiots. She kept smirking and asking the same questions repeatedly. My mother had advised me of her previous encounter with Ms. Tran stating that she was very condescending. I witness Ms Tran in action today. We left the office and I told her that my mother is no longer a patient. I am so fed up with this practice. I had an echocardiogram done a f few moths ago. The results showed I had a definite problem which was dangerous. Instead of my MD calling with the results a non medical staff called me. When I asked for further information and had questions, she said she was just reading what was on her screen and couldn't answer anything related to the results. Now today I arrived 15 minutes late for my follow up with my internist Dr. Barrett. I called to tell them I was running late. The receptionist said it was " no problem ". When I got there I was told I had to reschedule because the doctor would not see anyone after 15 minutes ( i was 18 minutes late). Despite numerous conversations with his nurse he still refused to see me. Nor would he talk to me. When I left I filled out paperwork so I can get my records transferred to another practice . Overall the clinic is good; however, don't EVER say you don't like a doctor. I'm very proactive in my care. Dr. Morgan and I did not click - at all! She does not want to explain anything to you. So, I told the front desk when they went to schedule my next appointment, that I wanted a different doctor. Never heard back from them. Now, years later, I need a rheumatologist. I wanted to see Dr. Dold; guess what? They hold a grudge! Yes, they banned me from the practice, and falsified my record saying I made "numerous appointments and did not show". Seriously? Never ever go to this money hungry practice. I would recommend Dr. Dold to anyone needing a rheumatologist but not as long as she is with them. . They hold grudges. I was not happy with the GP I saw there, so I switched to another practice. All of a sudden they are cancelling appointments telling me I have outstanding invoices from when I had no insurance. I have ALWAYS has insurance and the current one has not changed in 6 years. I called insurance company they provided EOB of where those charges were paid. I asked the very rude billing person at NEGA Diagnostic Clinic to call insurance company per their request she states oh we will just resubmit it. Duh they already paid you they will deny a double bill. I ask to be provided with copies of bills to compare to my EOBs. Instead I get a form letter informing me due to me not paying the bill (they already were paid for) I am dropped as a patient, and prior to all of this when they cancelled my appointment,they were holding my refills and prescriptions hostage.
