I went on New years day at Urgent Care I was seen promptly and seemed attentive. BUT, It did not resolve the issue. I went back 5 days later as I was worse, much worse and my antibiotics were gone. I had low oxygen levels and I was about to be in trouble. I waited and the eventually got taken back. Nurse checked me in, then sent to xray. I no more than got back into the room than the PA or Dr, I honestly don't know who it was walks in hands me a paper with added prescriptions to my med list. Did not talk to me, did not review my history with me, did not examine me, started to walk out then as an after thought said Oh let me listen to you, probably so she could charge me and rushed me out telling me go to my Primary. I had pneumonia... VERY DISPPOINTED in the care I received there, Definitely not Northside standards I expect. read more

I was able to make an appt ("get in line") and received a text when I needed to show up. I waited a short time, was seen promptly, tested, and the NP talked with me pretty extensively as well. I was very impressed. The NP didn't just throw a bunch of rx's at me, but told me how to manage just as well with items I already have at home. I went here on a Friday around 6:00-6:30pm for poison ivy. I'm allergic to poison ivy. The woman at the front desk was kinda rude. Anyway, we got sent back (I had my fiancé with me, he begged me to be seen) we sat in a room. The nurse that took my blood pressure was great. But when the actual doctor came in she just talked to me. (I get it not wanting to be near me because of poison ivy) I explained that my face is swollen and red and that it's really close to my eye. I requested( basically begged) for a steroid shot. She shut me down quick and said they do oral first. I'm sorry that just says "I want more money" But anyway, she left the room and we were sitting there a nurse opened the door and was like "why are you still here" I just said I wasn't told anything. She rolls her eyes and shuts the door. Later on she said run the pharmacy and start taking this immediately. Don't even stop by the front desk. Ok whatever. Monday rolls around, my face is swelled up even more. So I had to go to my primary care doctor and get the shot of steroids( like I asked the woman at urgent care) and my face was basically back to normal in 2 days. My mom, fiancé, fiancé's mom and me were mad about how I was treated at this establishment after I told them my concerns but they didn't want to listen. They also charged my insurance $500. Which is bull sh**. I ain't complaining because of that. But just that they don't give a sh** bout patients health like that say they do. read more

I hurt my lower back pretty bad, to the point where I couldn't sit, stand or lay down without terrible pain. I couldn't get in to my PCP so I went to urgent care. I checked the website prior to going to see If I could call or make some type of online appt. On the site it said the wait time was 45-60 min and I was trying to get in during my lunch break. There is an option to call ahead (got voicemail when I called) and an option to "skip the wait" and check in online. I chose that option. They were to text me when my visit time was 15 min away. I got 1 text with a time to arrive plus 2 others updating me on when to arrive since they were running behind. My visit time was for 12:55. I got there and gave the lady outside the door (bc covid) my info and told her I checked in online. She took my temp and brought me to the waiting room. There were quite a few people in the lobby but I know they do regular dr. visits there, too. After about 3 people were called and I had waited over 1.5 hrs I asked the receptionist when I would be called back since I checked in online. She said that all the online check-in is for is to "let us know you're coming" but does not place me in front of the line. I was put in line AFTER I got there. Then why did I get a visit time. And why did they update it so I knew when to go? After about 3 hrs in the waiting room and after EVERY SINGLE OTHER PERSON had been called and the reception area was EMPTY I was finally told they were cleaning a room for me. At least 20 more minutes of waiting and I was finally called back. Waited another 30+ to see the PA. she was in and out within 5 minutes. Ordered steroid and pain shots and a steroid pack for the week. Finally out of there at 4:45!! Almost 4 hours there!! What?!?! Total waste of time!!! I almost left but I had no other option, except maybe another urgent care, to get relief. At the end of sitting in the most uncomfortable chairs ever for that amount of time my back was screaming! The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is bc I finally got some meds and was able to sleep without excruciating pain last night. read more

Went there on Tuesday. Pharmacy is out of the cough med for two weeks now. Been calling for 2 days now to get Dr to call in another cough medicine with no luck. Seems they could care less about patients calling in to ask nurse to talk to dr. What a joke to go here. read more

We had a appointment at 10:30 am we are STILL sitting in the waiting room as walk-ins are going straight back! its is currently 11:30. SO PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME WHY I EVEN MADE A APPOINTMENT? this place is very unfunctional and they seem not to care about its clients they get their clients "confused" and don't seem to care to switch it once they notice it. Explain to me why i am going to wait an hour to see a doctor when i am in pain? i do not understand why the doctor was walking in and out not even concerned with the fact all the seats are taken and that people are standing waiting to see a doctor. read more

Absolutely the worst medical facility, by far, that I have ever been to! I went I during normal business hours to get a COVID test and there was no one there, not at the front desk, not in the lobby, nowhere! After waiting for 5 minutes a person finally came to the desk. I told her that all I needed was a test and that I wanted to cash pay, the test was a requirement from my employer, and I was to be reimbursed. The person at the desk said that was fine. After getting the test, I was told that the "office visit" was $125 and the COVID test was a separate charge, billed by the lab. So, I couldn't get a receipt. After all that, I asked the nurse why there was no one around when I arrived. I asked, "what happens if someone comes in with an actual emergency" to which the nurse replied, "we do pretty well with emergencies. PRETTY WELL! That's the standard of care? Do yourself a favor, if you need medical attention, this is not the place to go. read more

The Dr's are actually great. Their staff.... is terrible. Long wait times inconsiderate and rude staff.

First rate facility in my opinion. Low wait times and great physicians. Easily get antibiotics for an infection or much more. ER docks are not super specialized but extra knowledgeable on many issues. Also better than most regarding insurance company filings and paperwork. read more

I was in severe pain in my right leg. I arrived at the office before it was open. I was the first patient. The nurse said I was number 2 in the queue. I was never seen. I waited an hour and a half and no doctor. I stepped outside and the doctor saw me and said "Sorry." I looked at him and said "you know I've been here for an hour and a half." He said nothing. I had a meeting and went back afterwards to see if I could get in quickly. The front desk receptionist was rude and said that I'd be waiting just as long because there are primary care patients ahead of me. What happened to the "urgent" in urgent care? What happened to letting people know how long they have to wait? What happened to decency in our medical system? I'm at another urgent care and they have communicated their expectations on how long i am to wait. All I want is communication so I can determine whether I'm wasting my time at this facility or not. read more

When you go into an initial intake with the first nurse (short haired short brunette, in her early 30s) and she repeatedly yawns at you while you're explaining what brings you in, that's the utmost disrespect to a patient. When the same nurse rudely commands you to "go wait in that room", you start to wonder if she's lost her mind! This is how I was treated at this urgent care facility! Absolutely Worthless!!! Do Not go to this Urgent Care!! I went in with my son whom is 3 years old and had a open bleeding wound on his face that needed stitches. We signed in, paid the copay in full and waited...a HOUR AND 1/2 later NOTHING!! I walked up to the front desk to ask how much longer it would be as I saw people walking back getting seen with just minor coughs, or not under obvious stress. The lady behind the fron desk said that "It was a Urgent Care and 1-2 people were still ahead of him and it would be at least 30 mins to a hour longer. She also said We have 24 hours to get his face stitched... Which is Bull Crap. Lets let a open wound stay open for up to 24 hours for a infection. When I explained he was still bleeding on his face. The Receptionist said "Well you said it stopped" I replied Yes because we are holding gauze on it. When we took it off it just gushed more and more. We ended up leaving and going to Children's and they helped him urgently, got 3 stitches and he got the best care. I will never go back to Northside Forsyth and I will tell all others to stay away. They are rude, and are just like a doctors office they don't care how URGENT you need to be seen. Just let my 3 year old bleed in the waiting room...Northside Forsyth Urgent care is Aweful!!! read more
