The office manager has NO customer service skills. She over talks you, calls you "dear" ( which shouldn't be allowed). I made an appointment, verified Dr Herringer was in network. Waited 3 months for the appointment. Was in office for 3 hours and then 2 months later they tell me she's not in network. The Manager threw a floating trainee under the bus, saying he was at fault but actually when I made the appointment and gave the insurance information to the front office supervisor and was told they are in network. I never had interaction with the male (floater/trainee) until the day of appointment. I am very upset about this and also don't understand how it could go so far and so much time wasted. It's seems to me the office manager should do more than be rude and nasty to people. Seems like the office manager should be ultimately responsible for making sure things are done properly instead of blaming the trainee, especially when it's been 5 months or more before they verify. I personally do not trust people like this taking care of mine or others health in such a careless way. Dr Herringer is wonderful but now she has lost at least one patient and I'm sure there are more people this is happening to. I tried to bring this to NEGA administration's attention but they don't seem to care enough to make a phone call. Bottom line I personally feel the office manager needs to be replaced with someone qualified and knows how to treat people.

Waited about 15 minutes and then was called ahead of schedule to the procedure room. Holly was my technician who was preforming my procedure and explained what we were looking for and everything that was happening during the time I was there. Procedure took about 30 minutes overall. Was a very pleasant visit and smooth going through everything. I will make sure I will use this facility in the future if I can for any procedures with the Medical group. The nurse was more concerned with everything but my family member. I am thankful our situation improved, however, it could have been much worse. I truly was not impressed with the standard of care. For nurses making an average of $50 an hour not to mention the doctor's salary, I expected more. My recent experience with an endoscopy was terrible. Other than the front desk staff, the nurses and staff were not friendly and clearly in a hurry. Very few even made eye contact, leaving me feeling like a leper. I never saw the anesthesiologist. No one explained the anesthesia process to me prior to the procedure and I didn't even meet the cRNA until I was in the OR. Her only words to me were to mock my Yankee accent. When I was rolled into that room, I felt like I was crashing a party. The staff was more concerned with one another than with their patient. I didn't see Dr. Reddy until the OR either. Following the procedure, I was told that they had taken biopsies and they would let me know when the results came in. I was patient and after three weeks decided to call thinking that was longer than I've ever waited for any test results. Eventually nearly a month following the procedure, I got a call from Dr. Reddy apologizing because he had been on vacation and somebody dropped the ball yada yada yada. The bottom line is a very disorganized poorly and not very compassionate staff left me with no confidence whatsoever in this practice.

My first appointment should have been a red flag-- the doctor did not show up and I was stuck with a well- intentioned, but rude nurse who informed me that I would need an endoscopy. The doctor who performed this ( not the doctor who didn't show up -- I never heard his name mentioned again) was professional and did a great job of informing me after the procedure. But I then became a part of their system that points to money making and NOT patient care. It took 3 weeks and persistence to get final results and then I was told the doc who performed the endoscopy was booked for the next 4 months, but his nurse could see me. She was sweet but I later found out she had just received her advanced degree in Family Practice several days before joining the practice. She was not that informative, simply handing me a sheet of paper listing the GERD diet ( potatoes, white rice, cereal!!!). She had me on medication way too long and when I tried to see a doctor I kept getting the same issue that the doctor was booked up for several months. I was ok for a short while but when I started having a reaction to the medication she insisted I continue taking it. I went off it cold turkey and became much worse. She even told me to take strong medicine over the counter that caused even worse symptoms. I went to another doctor who had me go through more tests because I was so sick ( and lost considerable weight). I eventually ended up at Emory and the doctor there quickly diagnosed what had happened triggered by the medication. BTW, that nurse is no longer at the Gainesville practice. They have the nurse s treat you and seeing a doc tajes a long tine-- meanwhile you could be getting worse. I would recommend another practice.

My wife and I both went in for our annual physicals and we both got bills for what was supposed to be a free preventative services. Mine was $50 and my wife's was over $350! After a dozen calls to their billing department (who is never available and when you finally reach someone they claim to not be authorized to make a decision) they disclosed the reason for the $350 is because the PA asked my wife a question (which she answered) and they considered that not to be "preventative care" and so without any disclosure charged her over $350 for a separate office visit which our insurance refused to cover. Talk about entrapment! If you use them, be very careful to not answer any questions the Doctor ask you as they will use this as an opportunity to hit you with a sneaky bill. It is nice they respond to the reviews in this forum, but please note this is not helpful as the phone number they give is the same one that you can't get ahold of anyone in billing and the email they give, no one responds to except to say they are unauthorized to help.
