I drove over…read more100 miles (gas, time, and wear on my vehicle) to pick up my order in person on Monday only to find an illegibly scribbled note taped to the door saying they were closed. I emailed and called. Was told in an email reply later that day that they were short staffed, but how was I to know? Their website clearly states open until 3 on Mondays. I also had noted in the 'comments' section of my online order that I'd pick up my order on Monday. I reluctantly rescheduled to make the trek again on Thursday. Tuesday passed. Then shortly after noon on Wednesday I received and email saying they were unable to fulfill half of my bought and paid for order. I immediately canceled the remaining items. Currently awaiting full refund. Trust broken. Flaky business practices noted. Lack of responsibility and accountability to customers. Website/inventory control nonexistent. Shame. What a total waste of a potential customer's goodwill, time and money. Dude probably sold my bought and paid for items to his pals for more money. Why even post rare items online if you cannot honor the sale? Typical slacker run business. Avoid Northern Realms, it's just a headache!

Today I took a half dozen new books in to get credit on, and was informed that exchanges are by appointment only. No one else in the store, one clerk, 10am, no interest at all in being helpful, just doing his "job" and following the "rules" The old tin can is gone, next time I have extra books I'll donate them to Miranda's rescue.
