To their credit, they were quick to come out and assess my well pump failure. However, they were…read morenot timely with finishing the job. After starting the job, they couldn't get the pit less adapter off so they wanted another $1500 to rent equipment to dig. I opted to dig the hole myself to save the money. I was still charged $1000 for the new pitless and the 12" they had to dig below the adapter. The owner also wanted me to tear out my water softener to install one he recommends. The system we have is less than 1.5 years old. At this point I felt like I was being nickel and dimed. I was grateful that they were able to get water back on in 24 hours but when told they would be in at 9am to finish the job, I didn't get a call until 1030 that they were on the way, arrival until about noon, and then they didn't have the part so they had to leave again. They didn't show up to finish that day due to getting other calls. The next day, they didn't show up until after 3:30 to finish in the rain. There was definitely a lack of communication from the team about things preventing them from completing the job. Overall, they got the job done, but I don't feel like they valued my time whatsoever since I spent 3 days off work waiting for a new well pump to be installed and finished. This event began on Tuesday and it's now Friday night and I still have a hole in my yard to fill.

Scott Geothermal has been doing its routine maintenance for a few years now, and it has been working perfectly-- until today. Today, after 3 days of extreme heat and humidity, the condensation function stopped working, causing water to overflow into the attic, and down through the ceiling on the floor below. I called Scott at Scott Geothermal to take a look, because he had been keeping it tuned seasonally, and there were 2 more sweltering days predicted, with heat indexes of over 105. I expected to have to wait a long while to get him to come over because of the demands of a HVAC engineer on hot, hot summer days. I was wrong-- He came over first thing that morning, arriving before 7:00 a.m. He flushed the clog, checked all the condensers and repaired the upper unit to stop the problem. He made suggestions about maintenance that I had not considered. But most importantly, he came over in the sweltering heat so that I would have air conditioning, and he made sure that my the water dripping into my ceiling stopped, thus avoiding a catastrophic ceiling collapse. I recommend Scott Geothermal to anyone who wants prompt attention in an emergency. He cares about his customers!

If I could give zero stars, I would be giving zero. Brian Kelly sold me a false hope of a mini split installation that occurred in the middle of June 2026. He stated he would be personally overseeing the installation and coming by to check in person as well as calling. Neither of those things happened and not once did he show up. Maybe if he had, the install would have gone better. However he and Reggie, the install manager, both severely dropped the ball. We are now two and a half months past the installation date and the system is still not working properly. The company has set a precedent that they do not communicate well (consistently my appointments have been canceled/changed/missed with no communication). The company does not come when they say they will and do not respect peoples time. Unfortunately, after 2.5 months of no resolution I am now faced with having to escalate this outside of the company to the DC Department of Licensing and Consumer Protection, the DC Office of Attorney General, and the BBB. The only positive thing I can offer is everyone is incredibly polite, despite the fact that they do not actually do what they say the will and drop the ball consistently. I absolutely do NOT recommend this company-please steer clear and look elsewhere. *Should also be noted they have almost $11K of my money free and clear, but not a system that's working correctly * **Update as of 9/1/26: technicians are being sent to my house without my authorization or approval when I am not there. Branch management has not reached out.***
