Northglenn Heating was awesome. They saved me $8,000 compared to other quotes and provided better hardware by far than the other options. Unlike the other quotes I received, there was no pushy sales approach. I kid you not, two companies spent 30 minutes delivering PowerPoint presentations when I should have been feeding my kids dinner. Aaron the lead on the job was incredible. Every question I threw his way about installations, hardware, or industry trends, he knew the answer. Felt super at ease with him doing the installation. From scheduling to billing, everyone I dealt with was helpful and accommodating. I'll definitely use them for all my heating and cooling needs in the future. One potential area for improvement: offer more flexible financing options. That said, it's hard to do much when they're sitting around ~7%. read more

I needed a new wand air conditioner. I got several qoutes and these crooks came in 7K higher than anyone one else. Their tech lied and attempted to up sell me a larger system than needed. These guys are crooks do not trust them. read more

Hats off to Northglenn Heating and Air and technician Ron!!!! After my original company who installed my Furnace, AC, and Hot water tank would not respond to my needs with their faulty AC. They wanted $3,300 to fix my AC after they charged me $315 to tell me I was low on refrigerant and have a leak caused by their faulty installation. I called Northgenn Heating and Air and they came out within two days. The technician Ron looked at my AC and within 2 minutes found the leak from a faulty valve stem. He replaced the $0.49 part and topped off my refrigerant and within one hour he was done and my AC is working fine now. Total price for repair was $347. My new go to company for all my Heating and Air Conditioning needs is Northglenn Heating and Air. I can't say enough about Ron and his honesty and fair pricing. read more

This company has been servicing my heating and A.C. equipment for close to ten years and they kept everything running perfectly. Everybody there is honest and very professional. When it came time for me to replace my equipment, I had them install everything new for me. The installation went perfect. The crew was respectful and courteous. When they were done, they cleaned up and left everything the way they found it as if they were not even here. The equipment operates like a charm. I live out of town and rent out my house. I had to have an AC repair done and these guys gave me an estimate with a max price. They probably could have charged me that max price and I wouldn't have known the difference. However they did the right thing. They charged the amount that they were there for and well below what the max estimate was. I think that is the sign of a trustworthy company, and I recommend people use them for their HVAC needs. read more

My A/C had been down for a week, with the temperatures being in the '90s.. Other recommended companies either didn't respond back to me, or were too booked to help me in the time frame I needed. In desperation, I contacted a company I didn't know. They were able to come to my home SAME DAY. Ken quickly diagnosed the problem, and came back the next morning to install the part. Ken also explained what the problem was, as well as explained how the fan relay worked in conjunction with the furnace unit. Sent Northglenn Heating and Air out to our daughters home to take a look at her heater. We had been to her home the day before, and my Husband took a look at the igniter, and cleaned it, he figured it was probably the igniter, but couldn't be sure. Long story short... Northglenn Heating and Air comes out, doesn't have an igniter with him,. SO.....he charges her over $ 500.00 to replace a $17.00 part, WE CHECKED!!! The Layman, can replace this igniter in 15 minutes.*thats how long it took my husband to remove, clean, and replace it. On the invoice, they charged her $300.00 Trip Charge to pick up the part!!! They drove from Commerce City To Arvada!!! Who wouldn't do that ALL DAY L0NG FOR $ 300.00 PER TRIP??? DO NOT USE NORTHGLENN HEATING AND AIR, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A SINGLE WOMAN WITH CHILDREN.... Our furnace stopped cycling last night and the house was getting cold. After trying to get after hours service from several other companies, we called Northglenn Heating. The service tech was here within the promised time of one hour, fixed the problem and was out the door within fifteen minutes. Not only was he fast and professional he reduced the trip charge by $20. I have used the services of this company twice. The first time, while the technician arrived two hours late, was reasonable in all other regards. And the technician himself was fantastic. The second time, they told me my work would be done from 3 to 5. At 2:40 - well after I'd had to leave work to get home by the 3:00 mark - they called and said he'd be late. And again at 5. And again at 5:30, at which point she offered to repeat the whole exercise the following day. The technician arrived at 7:30 and had replaced my faulty capacitor by 8. My total bill was $225 - $67 for diagnosing the problem and $150 for the capacitor. A few phone calls this morning show that capacitor is available off the shelf locally for $28. It is available on Amazon for $24. I called to ask if the $150 charge was an error, and the nice woman explained that no, this is the price. The capacitor plus the time it took to install it (she explained that the $67 is just for diagnosis). Though even that calculation is off; at the $90/hr she claims they charge, even assuming they do an hour minimum and not the 40 minutes total he spent, that's still more than double the price of the part. Between the chronic lateness (and the disregard for my time that they imply) and the insane overcharge, I would recommend potential customers seek another contractor when they have a repair. read more

These guys were great in helping me through a very stressful situation. I had a gas leak where one was found on my furnace. Art came out and fixed the connection that Xcel said was leaking. Once the leaks were fix and Xcel was giving the approval to turn the gas back on Northglenn heating and air kept in touch with me to see when the gas was turned on so they could come back out and turn on and inspect the furnace. Unfortunately it took Xcel 7 days to turn the gas back on and Art came out that same day and got everything up and running. Great customer service both from Lana and Art. Thanks guys. read more

Horrible customer service! Called Northglenn Heating & Air for a tune up on my furnace. Omar came out and completed the maintenance and tested. Later in the evening my furnace would not turn on at all. A tech came out around 9pm and 'fixed' the issue. Now my furnace will not hold heat in the house and Lana would rather argue about it than send someone out to fix what wasn't broken in the first place. Definitely will not use them again. read more

We called Northglenn Heating today because our furnace was broken. The receptionist was very nice and made an appointment for this afternoon between 3-5. Great! The tech called right before 1pm and said he was running early and would be right there if that worked for us. Of course!! He got here by 1:15. Went to the basement. Pulled a tube and found sediment in the tube. He used a small screwdriver to remove the debris and furnace was working. He was done by 1:25. When I called in the morning, I was told the service charge is $80 and if any repair work was done, $20 would be taken off that fee. When the tech was working on the furnace, no other charges were discussed. After ten minutes, he went to his van to write up the bill. He came back with a $157 bill!!!! We called the office after the tech left and was told that we are paying for his knowledge and his time. She said that the tech advised us prior to him doing the repair what the costs would be. That is not true because I would have simply used my own screwdriver to remove the debris and saved $100!!! It was good that the tech found the source of the problem but I feel taken advantage of. They called back quickly, and arrived within a few hours on a Sat. Very curteous tech. The diagnostic was $60, and they used a shop vac to blow dust out of my furnace. That "repair" was an additional $95.00, for a total of $155.00 . However, they were honest on the issue, and did not make up more expensive repairs. So, I'm torn. Great service. Honest. Had they blown the dust out for the cost of the diagnostic call, I'd buy my next furnace there. read more

I called northglen heating and air on a weekend because my furnace had issues. It took less than 30 mins after I requested help through their ditpatch for Tony to contact me. He was professional on the phone as well as in person when he came to determine the issue. He quickly locate the problem. He did not attempt to to upsell me on something I didn't need. While he did not have the coponent in stock, he did go out of his way to locate an issue with our fireplace in order to get some heat in the house. Furthermore, Tony did offer to bring some spaceheaters over in case it got too cold. Talk about good customer service. The next day Zach showed up to repair the faulty component. He, too, was professional. Zach installed the component quickly, and the price was exactly was the main office quoted me. Our air conditioner broke down, they came out the next day, Tony Desimone came out and fixed it, he was efficient, courteous, and a delightful. He's a real worker and I will call them again, if anything goes wrong with our heating or air. The bill was fair, the service was amazing, and we are really happy with the whole experience. We have used them twice and both times have been great. We have been having issues with our AC for the past few years and other companies recommended getting an entire new system. When I set up the appointment, I had a great feeling of the company. But when the service person showed up, he seemed that he might have been drinking or on something else while there. I basically paid for a service call and got nothing for it. I called the company because they were the ones that installed the unit with the prior owner and was hoping to build a relationship with them. Well, guess that relationship was short lived. My husband contacted Northglenn Heating & Air via their website, as well as another HVAC company in the area. The other company (Brothers Plumbing) called us back immediately, confirmed a time for the next day, and then called again when they were about 30 minutes from our home. Two days later I am home and the doorbell rings, and I'm upstairs about to get in the shower. I quickly throw on a bathrobe and as I'm running down the stairs I hear pounding on the door. I go to answer the door and it is a rep from Northglenn Heating & Air. I am surprised to see him as we never received a phone call to confirm an appointment, nor did I get a phone call that morning letting me know he was on his way. I apologize to him, and tell him someone has already come out to the house. He immediately gets rude and angry with me, telling me he didn't know why someone didn't call them and let them know. I told him I did not understand his rudeness or anger toward me, but that someone had already come and he could leave. I then shut my front door. I will NEVER use these guys for anything. No communication and complete attitude. Brothers - by comparison - is wonderful and always has been. Save your money for real professionals. read more
