He cancelled via text 10 minutes prior to the appointment and we have been chasing him ever since. Lots of promises & excuses. He told us he no longer used the business name "Dubey Brothers Chimney LLC" because his brother had quit. We found a number of complaints under the former name at the Better Business Bureau - https://www.bbb.org/us/nh/hillsborough/profile/chimney-sweeper/dubey-brothers-chimney-llc-0051-92069128/complaints - After finding the complaints we decided to purchase a cap and install it ourselves. I even invited Trentton to clear his $300 obligation by helping to install our cap. Do not give this man any money.

My flue cleaning was originally scheduled for…read moreDecember 15 between noon and 2:30 but was cancelled at 1:00pm as it was possible that the operatives were exposed to Covid 19 (fair enough). I was told that I would be a priority call and the service was subsequently rescheduled (and confirmed) for 2:00 - 4:30pm on January 5 (afternoon call is not priority in my view). No-one turned up so I left a voice mail at 4:30 on 01/05, asking what was going on. As no-one responded, I left another message at 6:00pm that evening. The call was returned a few minutes later but, in spite of my saying "hello" 3 times, all I could hear was people talking in the background, so I hung up. As of 2 days later, no-one from the company has contacted me. I guess they don't want my business, so they won't get it.
