I would avoid this dealership at all costs. The entire experience has been disorganized, frustrating, and a complete waste of time. First, expect random employees to repeatedly call you who seemingly have no idea who they're speaking with or what you've already discussed. It feels like your number is simply being passed around on a call list. Every time someone new calls, you have to explain the entire situation all over again. They tell you they'll look into it and call you back, and instead of actually getting a resolution, another person calls and the same ridiculous cycle starts over. I was trying to trade in my vehicle and purchase another one. You would think a dealership would actually assign someone to work with you from beginning to end. Instead, I received inconsistent information and random numbers with seemingly no order or clear explanation behind them. Their trade-in appraisal process was equally frustrating. Expect numbers to be thrown at you without a clear breakdown of how they arrived at them. First its appraised at 24k then another caller says 17k, what is going on?? Then I was told I was supposedly around $9,000 then 6,000 upside down and was asked how I planned to pay that amount out of pocket, rather than having someone clearly explain what financing or trade-in options were actually available, including whether some or all of the negative equity could potentially be rolled into a new loan. Then there's the pricing. I was quoted an approximately $4,000 market adjustment/markup soon as we sat down, which drastically increases the advertised vehicle price. From what was explained to me, the justification is essentially market demand. In my opinion, it's ridiculous. The overall impression I got was that inventory and demand were being used to justify inflated pricing while the actual customer service was practically nonexistent. I can't independently say whether inventory is intentionally being limited, but the way availability and demand were presented certainly left me questioning the sales tactics. If you're going to charge thousands over the vehicle price, the absolute minimum customers should receive is knowledgeable, organized service and accurate, consistent information. Instead, I spent my time going in circles, repeating myself to different employees, receiving conflicting numbers, and waiting for callbacks that never actually resolved anything. I went to Northridge Toyota today for 35K mile service on my 2024 Toyota RAV4. Robert helped me with my car. I was very disappointed at all of the upselling they tried to do! Toyota recommends an oil change and tire rotation at 35K, but Northridge Toyota tried to upsell me with: Fuel system cleaner Premium engine treatment Crankcase cleaning service AC refresher Decarb service 4-wheel alignment Cabin air filter Engine air filter These upsells would have cost me an extra $1,000 and are not recommended by Toyota at 35K miles. The cabin and engine air filters were dirty, but Northridge Toyota wanted $220 for both. I can buy OEM filters and do it myself for $40. I find it interesting that they removed the filters to take pictures for the inspection report, so they already did the labor! I will not be going back! read more

I'm sharing my experience from Sunday 7/12/26 Before making the 40-minute drive, I had a detailed conversation with my salesperson. I made it very clear that I was looking for a small discount from MSRP, I didn't want unnecessary dealer aftermarket add-ons and expected a fair trade-in value for my low-mileage 2025 clean Subaru Onyx. I was assured that everything was understood and was asked to "come on in so we can work up a fair purchase price and trade in. After two short test drives and a 40-minute wait to meet with the Sales Manager, I was presented with an offer that included a $4,000 markup over MSRP and only $24,000 for my trade-in--approximately $4,000 below a written CarMax estimate and almost $5,000 below another similar used car retailer. When I objected, the Sales Manager immediately reduced the purchase markup to $2,000 as a "favor to me" (Yes, what he said). I still declined and got up to leave. At that point, my trade-in value suddenly increased to $25,000, and I was told THIS offer was from a different system "linked to CarMax." That explanation didn't make sense to me because I already had a printed CarMax estimate in my purse that was significantly higher. After well more than two hours at the dealership subjected to this behavior, I was pretty upset and started walking out. My salesperson asked me to wait a few more minutes because the Internet Manager could supposedly help with pricing when the Sales Manager could not. Although I said I wanted to go home, I agreed to wait. After another 20 minutes with no Internet Manager, I decided to leave. As I reached my car, my salesperson ran after me and asked me to come back because the Internet Manager was finally available. She asked me to sit down, but I chose to remain standing. She then offered to sell me the vehicle at MSRP. At that point I said thank you for your time. but I will move on to another dealer. I was very uncomfortable with the experience and their shady tactics. I left. The following day (Monday), my salesperson called and claimed multiple times that they had done everything they promised! He even asked whether I had gone to CarMax to obtain a written offer for them to match, despite the fact that I provided a copy of the CarMax estimate just before I left and I also said I was moving on from this shady dealership. I firmly stated (AGAIN) I was moving on to another dealer, thanked him for his time and said goodbye. The following day (Tuesday), the dealership's Sales Manager called and asked what had happened, saying he wanted to "help". I returned his call and explained my experience. He then offered $500 more than the CarMax offer for my trade-in but went back to a $2,000 markup over MSRP on the new vehicle (yes another increase in price and that was apparently his way of 'helping' - to try again to gouge me more than they were already). I AGAIN stated I had moved on to another dealer and said goodbye. My frustration wasn't that we couldn't reach a deal. There are many other dealers out there. It was that the sales tactics and behavior at this dealership were disgusting. Had the dealership honored the expectations we discussed/agreed to before I drove 40 minutes, they would have earned my business. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a straightforward, transparent, and FAIR buying process. I had an extremely disappointing experience with Byron Lopez, the Loyalty Specialist Manager. I came in to discuss options regarding my vehicle and a persistent glove box rattle, only to have my concerns dismissed with comments like, "It's a truck, all trucks rattle," and suggestions that I should buy a hybrid instead. The interaction felt condescending, unprofessional, and completely lacking in customer care. What makes this worse is that Byron misrepresented my concerns to another employee, implying I didn't like the truck itself, which was never the case. Ironically, a service advisor later confirmed the rattling was not normal and that a repair was available. As a family that has purchased five vehicles from this dealership, I expected respect and professionalism. The service department continues to be excellent, but this manager's attitude and lack of listening skills reflect poorly on the dealership. I have a lot of off roading / overlanding experience and was looking to get a new build for one of my social media channels. I have a handful of other trucks as well. I had some really simple questions that I wanted answered and after talking to 3 different salesman I got the run around and didn't get my questions answered. One guy had a really bad attitude as well. This is why I do my research beforehand. I already knew if the Tacoma had lockers or not. I already knew about the crawl control system. I already knew about what off-roading amor / protection came stock with the truck. I already knew about the torque and horsepower numbers. I just wanted someone to go over some of these items with me in further detail. But it seemed like nobody knew what I was taking about. One guy said this truck is good enough! I laughed and said not for where my group and I go. If you all are trying to sell a high priced Tacoma TRD Pro then someone at the dealership should really know more about the truck. So I ended leaving, especially after that one employee treated me like a two year old. I won't be back! I ended up going to Thousand Oaks and got the Tacoma ordered the way I wanted it and even though my salesman didn't know as much as I did we both took the time together to look into what upgrades can be done. Bigger tires, possible re gearing, lift and suspension options, etc. If you want a work truck or a truck for the lake, beach or running some easy trails and fire roads then you should be ok here. But if you're really into over-landing, pre running, or any type of crawling you should definitely do your research first. They do a lot of volume so my review won't even matter. Unfortunately, we ran into a problem when we got our new car home and realized it had the wrong floor mats. I wasn't given a copy of the contract at signing, and only found out what happened after I returned to request one in person. I raised the issue directly with both the Finance Director and General Manager. While the products were eventually canceled and refunded, it took weeks -- during which I accrued unnecessary interest on an inflated principal. I assumed it was her number but it turned out it was the office. A guy picked up. Told him what had just happened including the part where Nima raised his voice with me. No apologies. No acknowledgement of wrongdoing. All this guy said was "first come first serve. The car was sold 2 hours ago". I told him, I'm not interested in doing a business with someone who yells at me and hung up. I got there around 8:15pm. Two hours earlier would be around 6:15pm. As you can see in the text, Kelly texted me the specs at 6.30pm and confirmed my arrival around 7:47 pm. So if the car was not available 2 hours prior, then why did Kelly send me the specs of the car? Why did she confirm my arrival if she wasn't gonna be there?
