Best experience ever! Was given an out door price without hassle. Numbers and communication was clear and to the point! I was helped by a gentleman named Juan & I had a million questions & needed that reassurance. Juan took the time to respond to every message & questions. Prior to this I had gone to 12!!! Dealerships and had tried making a deal in Bakersfield CA, only to be ripped off and scammed. When Juan provided clarify with everything I knew this dealership was legit! I'm so thankful for the experience. Especially being a female buying a truck! They are non commission and don't try and hassle any other fees or bulls*** prices. It was a smooth process and straight to the point !

When I purchased my first Chevy I heard about the Chevy Family. I didn't quite understand it until I had the opportunity to visit this service center for routine maintenance (oil changes) They offer fair priced oil change packages, the service is relatively fast, and they under promise and over deliver. Most notable is the customer service, upon arrival I was immediately attended and the service rep thoroughly reviewed my needs and checked for any recalls. They walked me through all details, clear explanations and without a rush. No gimmicks. It seems like this service center is family owned and operated. You can tell without a doubt. When I picked up my vehicle, again everyone was very kind. I drove off with a smile as a proud member of the Chevy family. I highly recommend this location for routine maintenance.

Another review for SERVICE Department I'm writing this review to share a very disappointing experience with this dealership's service department. My husband recently brought my vehicle in for a brake inspection- we leased from Simi Valley but somehow he thought it was same owner/business but they were nice to still take us in for 6 months check up. But the technician claimed my front brake pads were down to only 3mm remaining and urgently needed replacement -- with a quoted cost of $620. Something didn't feel right, so I decided to get a second opinion at Simi Valley Chevy. The difference was shocking. Their technicians actually put my car up on the lift and showed me in person that my brake pads still had over 6mm of life left -- meaning there was absolutely no need for replacement yet. On top of that, Simi Valley Chevy quoted me $420 for the same service when it actually becomes necessary. This whole situation cost me a lot of wasted time driving to multiple locations, getting re-evaluations, and even caused me to miss my son's soccer practice -- all because this dealership gave me what appears to be a fraudulent or at least misleading diagnostic. It's incredibly disappointing to feel like a customer's trust is taken advantage of just to make a few extra dollars or commissions. If you're considering getting service here, think twice. Go to Simi Valley Chevy instead -- they were transparent, honest, and showed me exactly what was going on with my car in writing and in person. Please read and take this seriously before you become another victim!l yourself!

I have had terrible experiences with dealerships in the past but I had such a stress free experience with this dealership. I want to thank my sales person Robert "Bob" Torres for being fantastic. I didn't have to spend hours negotiating and all that awful stuff that comes with buying a new car. The process was efficient and everyone was really nice there.

If you're looking to buy a car, Juan Carillo at Rydel Chevrolet is the guy to go to. He's always helpful, makes the whole process easy, and truly takes care of his customers. I've worked with him multiple times when shopping for vehicles, and he always comes through. Highly recommend reaching out to Juan if you want a smooth, stress-free car buying experience!

I recently purchased a brand-new Chevy Suburban from Rydell, and this was my first time buying from a dealership in quite a while, as I've typically gone through leasing companies. I had the pleasure of working with Vig, who was both professional and highly knowledgeable throughout the entire process. What stood out most to me was that Vig respected my time and never pressured me into making a decision, even when I needed a full week to weigh my options. When I was ready, I returned to him, and he ensured I got exactly the deal I was looking for. He also handled my commercial registration smoothly, which was especially important for my needs. If you're in the market for a new vehicle--especially for commercial use--I highly recommend working with Vig for your next purchase. You won't be disappointed. read more

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel other people should know about my experience. I brought my 2015 Chevrolet Express van to this dealership for a cooling system and transmission service and spent over $1,000 on maintenance, expecting professional work and peace of mind. Before bringing my van in, I did not have a coolant leak. Immediately after the service, my van developed an orange coolant leak. When I brought it to their attention, instead of taking the time to thoroughly inspect what may have happened during the service or accepting any responsibility, I was told I needed a new radiator for an additional $1,600. After I declined the repair, the customer service changed completely. The service advisor no longer seemed interested in helping me, avoided speaking with me when I came to pick up my van, and made me feel like I was no longer a valued customer because I wasn't spending more money. As a result of this situation, I've now missed three days of work, and I'm left dealing with a vehicle that wasn't leaking before it was serviced. I'm not asking for anything unreasonable. I simply expected the dealership to stand behind their work, thoroughly investigate the issue, and treat me with respect. Instead, I left feeling dismissed and disappointed. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this dealership's service department. I hope they improve both their workmanship and the way they treat customers when problems arise. read more

I recently purchased a Chevy Equinox EV from this dealership. Overall I'm somewhat happy with the vehicle, but I want to share feedback about the customer experience--particularly for female buyers accompanied by men. During my visit and purchasing experience, I noticed that the salesperson repeatedly directed explanations and conversation to my husband, even after I clearly stated that I was the person considering the purchase. This is a dynamic many women recognize when shopping for cars, but I have noticed it specifically with Chevrolet dealerships and I intentionally chose this Rydell dealership because of its reviews. I know firsthand from dealing with multiple Chevy dealerships and reps how humiliating and dismissive the experience can be when a car salesperson speaks predominantly to the male partner when the female partner is the buyer. In fact I'm questioning why I even completed the transaction. To put this in context, I understand that statistically many truck and SUV buyers are male, which may shape sales habits. However, women purchase a large and growing share of vehicles, and dealerships would show basic intelligence not to default to addressing primarily the male partner when a woman is present. It is 2026. Two constructive suggestions: Be intentional about engaging the actual buyer. Sales staff should make sure they are speaking directly to the person who is making the purchasing decision, regardless of gender. Actually there should be an aggressive sales and marketing program to attract female buyers. This is a serious deficit for you. Also provide a dedicated technology specialist. Modern vehicles--especially EVs--have complex infotainment and digital systems. It would be extremely helpful if dealerships had a staff member whose role is simply to walk new owners through the infotainment system before and after delivery so buyers leave confident using their vehicle. The vehicle itself is fine, but revolutionizing the customer experience--especially for women--would make the dealership stronger and more welcoming to a wider range of customers. Get your act together, Rydell and Chevrolet in general. And when a customer bothers to call the sales manager to explain the problem, don't gaslight and try to frame the situation as individual perception. That's ever more concerning. read more

I was in search of a new vehicle and wasn't decided on a make; I tested several others, across various dealers in Los Angeles and Ventura counties. I made my way to Rydell to test drive a Silverado. Today, that same truck sits in my driveway. I wasn't only pleased with the vehicle, I was impressed with the professional who assisted me throughout - Vig Ashok. From start to finish, we tested a few trucks; he stayed in touch with me by phone call and text regarding colors and models he researched. And due to a very hectic schedule of mine, he was extremely patient while I needed a few days to return for the actual purchase! This is my first new Chevrolet, and first experience with Rydell. I'm impressed with both! read more

Consistently slow service department. I'm always told a significantly shorter time than it winds up being. Today's visit was supposed to be 15-20 minutes according to two different people. I was there almost four hours. This was a problem they caused that I was coming in to get fixed. I shouldn't have to take an entire day off every time I go there. I have waited several visits to make this review to see if they ever improve on this, they have not. Sales department has been fine, but they do not make up for the service department. read more

I came to the dealer today to get a service done on my vehicle and i saw a classic camaro in the lot of the dealership. I can appreciate a dealer that can pay homage to it's own heritage that still holds values within the brand i hope to see more cars like that at this dealership. Im definitely going to continue doing business with a dealership such as this one when you get to see cool cars like this, definitely made me feel more invited to come in . read more

Pedro at Rydell Chevrolet, Northridge made leasing a new car such a positive experience! He was very communicative, transparent, and trustworthy. I appreciated the transparency he had with the financial side. I knew I was getting the best deal with many rebates and no hidden fees. He kept my best interest in mind and actively sought out the best deals for me. I appreciated working with Pedro. He definitely made up for all of the negative experiences I've had at other car dealerships. I highly recommend him to anyone who would like a positive and stress-free car buying experience. read more

***** SERVICE DEPARTMENT***** BEWARE!!!! I brought in my car for a $200 diagnostic because I was having a "reduced propulsion" alert on my Chevy Volt. I was not given a full diagnostic, they said my car was fine and needed coolant. I paid the full amount, left and my check engine light came on immediately, the car lost battery charge, and I couldn't charge the battery. I came back, they said there was no problem and that losing battery charge was normal. I said it wasn't normal, we called headquarters and they said it was normal. I was also told my car was out of warranties. They said I could bring it back in again... Fast forward, I'm driving with problems and a check engine light which they couldn't diagnose. I came back 2 years later and they said it was a powertrain problem and that I was under warranty (but wait, I was told I didn't have any warranties). I go to another dealership and they tell me that the problem is the reduced propulsion and a battery issue, both of which WERE under warranty when I came in. I also have another warranty still active! So now I'm out of warranty for the exact issue I came in for and the dealership AND headquarters are refusing to help or take it in, even though I took the proper steps while it was under warranty. They are saying its over $6000 to fix these once-covered issues. They have no proof of my diagnostic or that they even properly did one, all they have is the receipt of my diagnosis. This is beyond disgraceful. And the service foreman was extremely agitated, was cutting me off like I was wasting his time, I told him I think they should fix the problem I came in for and he said no and hung up. $6100 to fix what I came in for when it was under warranty, sent home and told there was no problems. read more

I recently purchased a 2026 Chevy Equinox EV from Rydell Chevrolet and had a really great experience from start to finish. A big thank you to Pedro, who helped me through the entire process. I'm an old guy with a mind of a fifty year old and after installing solar system that supplies the house with all the energy it needs day & night, I realized it was time for an EV car..... I decided that a lease was going to be the best route for me to get familiar with the new technologies. So Friday night I stopped by Rydell's Chevy dealership as my family has been very happy with the results over the years. I had put feelers out, over the internet, days before to LOUIS VACA . He was great on sending info that I requested. He wasn't in late that night but I was introduced to PEDRO DURAN!!!! He was a wonderful person to work with and was able to work up a lease deal that worked for me. It was getting late so I put everything on hold and needed over night to figure what was best for me. So the next day I returned and finished the paperwork with BENITO in a very short time. Since I had no one to drive home my existing vehicle, PEDRO suggested a way to get both of my new and old car home. All worked perfectly well and I'm now a proud leasee of a 2025 Equinox EV RS. Thanks Rydell! read more

Overpriced and underdelivered. I asked them to resync the tire sensors and I ended up with fewer sensors than I arrived with. They tried to charge me $600 for two tires and $600 for four tire sensors. I had an appointment but my car didn't get seen for at least an hour. By the time I left there was nowhere to sit in either waiting room because this place is slow, as well as overpriced and not high quality. Go to a real mechanic read more

Let me start off by saying--you don't come across good, honest salesmanship very often these days. I've owned nearly every brand of car out there, and to be honest, my last dealership experience left such a bad taste that I wasn't even sure I wanted to go back to one. I recently test drove a Tesla, but it just didn't feel like the right fit for me. To make matters harder, my husband's usual sales guy wasn't available when I was ready to exchange my car. This past Friday, we got an email saying there were just two days left in the Memorial Day sales event. My husband texted Chris in the service department to see if he had any recommendations--though we didn't expect a reply until Monday since it was already after hours. To our surprise, 10 minutes later, Chris replied: "Mo is back!" My husband turned to me and said, "It's your lucky day, babe--it looks like you might just get your car this weekend." Now, my husband is very antisocial (lol), so when he genuinely likes someone, I know that person has to be solid. He reached out to Mo, and Mo responded right away. From the start, he was understanding, patient, and most importantly--he actually listened to me. There was no pressure, no sales pitch--just someone who truly wanted to help me find what I wanted. And he did exactly that. Mo got me the best deal possible, and just like that, I drove away in a brand new 2025 Equinox EV (in sports mode!). Thank you, Mo, for restoring my faith in car buying. You made the experience smooth, genuine, and actually enjoyable. read more

We had a terrible experience at this dealership. Formal Complaint also made to Chevrolet. The dealership advertised a lease offer on their website that prompted us to visit in person indicating the car was available. We initiated approval process via Internet immediately, completed what they asked and we keep communicating with the sales person Brandon Lira, We drove for 2 HOURS, Upon arrival, we were told the car of the offer was not available and were instead quoted a lease price nearly four times higher than advertised. They tried to blame on the employee saying he is new. Shame!!!! Stay away from this dealer! read more

This one star is for the service department customer service. The person that answer the phone answers questions like a technician. When asked a follow-up question, they wanna play the roll assigned (receptionist). We call to ask for an appointment for service and receptionist are giving options! "I dont know how long we will keep the care if nothings wrong after the diagnostic." Like, normal people dont need there vehicles. Why isn't there a time frame for diagnostic test? It's common practice to say an expected range I dont know it can take a few days to a week or more is diabolical! read more

Highly recommended!!! My family had an overwhelmingly GREAT EXPERIENCE purchasing their new vehicle at Rydell Chevrolet. This dealership truly stands out for being honest, transparent, and completely customer service-driven. The entire process was straightforward, streamlined, and stress-free, exactly what every buyer desires. Their vast inventory made it easy to explore options and find the perfect fit. They proudly advertise themselves as the #1 volume Chevy dealership in Los Angeles County, and after our experience, we can confidently say Rydell absolutely delivered on that statement. What really sets Rydell apart is that they do not engage in deceptive tactics or bait-and-switch practices, like most other dealerships. What they advertise is precisely what they honor--no games, no surprises, just genuine professionalism. Honestly, do not shop anywhere else if you want a dealership you can trust. I want to give significant credit to the team that made this experience exceptional: * Armen Kesablyan -- a top salesman through and through. Professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to helping customers get the right vehicle at the right price with a streamlined process. * Louis Vaca -- a phenomenal, attentive, friendly, and incredibly supportive manager throughout the purchasing process. * Arnulfo Peña -- efficient, helpful, professional, and made everything feel effortless. Together, they created a buying experience that was not only smooth but truly memorable, and that is why I drove over 50 miles to purchase a vehicle from Rydell. If you're looking for a dealership that values honesty, transparency, and customer satisfaction above everything else, Rydell Chevrolet is the ONLY place to buy your next vehicle! read more

My truck airbag light turned on. I made an appointment to get it checked out. I took it in on my appointment on 6/08/26 in the morning. service agent Renee told my husband that he will call him by the afternoon. My husband did not receive a call that day, so he called the following. They don't him the truck has not been inspected and had 2 cars ahead, that they will call us. By Friday we had not received a call, so my husband called again and was told the truck had not been inspected and had 4 cars now ahead of us. Renee stated that on Monday (7 days later) that they will check them and he will call my husband. Now it's Tuesday 6/16/2024, and my husband had to call again for a follow up. very bad communication and customer service. A courtesy call to inform us that they couldn't inspect the truck for a whole week would have been nice. Looking for a new or used car the experience can be stressful. Be cause you want a good deal but the dealerships never want to give you that good deal. When it comes to taking your business to a dealership to trust them with helping you find the right car for you in your budget or trusting they have you in there best interest cause they want to make that sale also and have that commission in there pockets well this dealership is not a place to trust them with your huge investment in buying a new or used car truck SUV or a van before I walked in here on a friday night with my girlfriend I was already in the market for a black on black chevy silverado ltz z71 4x4 been searching for one for a while most trucks of that spec with around 20k miles goes for $33k-35-37 depending on other options that were added well rydell chevy here in northridge had a high mile truck about 3-4k miles from the infamous 100k which drops in value about 10-14k just in the miles alone I walked in wanting to buy finally emailed the lady I was heading over... No response for about two hours I mean I don't live close to this dealership and I trusted them in taking care of me in purchasing my first car on payments but when we got to the dealership it was a or 6-7pm there was employees talking among themselves customers talking to other sales people and a pretty big lot with no body to assist so my girlfriend and I decided to go look for the truck we did see Alot of trucks in that spec but they were all new trucks which with the rebate was only $40-$43k new only cause the 2019's were out and they were getting rid of there old stock and there used stock to make room for newer inventory well we were looking for a 2015-2016 z71 that they were selling with about 94k miles which in the market goes for $19-23k used but this dealership had it for $28k-$29k and only two owners well turnsout they sold it about an hour or two before I got there the sales person then told me how about we go inside and I can help you find another truck in your budget when my girlfriend and I walked in and sat down in his cubicle I told the sales person I have been building my credit for 3 years and its only at 750 he then asked if this would be my first purchase on credit and I said yes he then told me rydell or any credit company would never approve me for a auto loan cause I'm a first time buyer and he told me to leave so we left a few days later I get a call and I told the lady that called you could tell she doesn't care and now the truck I was looking for is back on there sales floor cause supposedly something with the other buyers finances well now the truck has three owners and more miles and they posted it for the same price just remember before buying your next car or truck it is a huge investment do Alot of research and know the market on pricing before trusting your hard earned money with any sales associate and I recommend not to deal with rydell and look elsewhere so you don't get treated like this read more

If I could describe my recent purchase experience with Rydell Chevy in one word it would be "wow." I recently purchased a Camaro ZL1 from Rydell and the whole experience with the sales and finance team was amazing. For starters, I was helped by Patrick in the sales department. He was always professional and allowed me to have multiple test drives with the vehicle so I could get a good feel for it. I texted and called him numerous times regarding questions I had regarding the vehicle and he would always respond via text or phone call within a very short time period. Secondly I was helped by Freddy in the sales department who helped me on the day that Patrick was not available. He was very professional and made the buying process go by without a hitch in what I felt like a short amount of time. The ZL1 was already cleaned, prepped and ready to go by the time I even got to the dealership. Third and final person I had contact with was John T., the finance manager. He was very helpful in explaining the programs available for my vehicle and made the "paperwork" process go by quickly. All three employees deserve the highest commendations for their professionalism, attention to the needs of their customer and their ability to be flexible to my schedule. Now for the negative or rather the improvable portion of the experience. During the process I asked about the first payment delay of the standard "45" days. It was relayed to me that, that issue can be brought up to my bank to extend or shorten that period to tailor the payment due date. I received a call from the bank stating that the 45 day period was something that can only be changed by the dealer due to the contract. I am unaware if this only applies to my credit union or if it really is something that can be amended by other banks. That is the reason why it does not take away from the rating I have given. I have purchased and leased numerous vehicles and motorcycles and I can say that this is the first time I was not bothered by the amount of time spent at the dealer with the typical "let me go run these numbers with my boss" experience. Thank you Rydell Chevy, I will be coming back. read more

I was looking to lease a car for my father as a birthday gift when i came across some pretty good deals on the 2017 Chevrolet Volt. I contacted the broker who i usually purchase cars from and the deal that he could get on one was enticing but i knew i could get a better deal. I called Rydell Chevrolet and the nice young lady who answered the phone was able to get me transferred to sales to get me a quote. She transferred me to Randy Simons, and I am more than thankful that she did. Remember that name, folks, RANDY SIMONS is the man the buy a car from. From the first spoken word he was helpful and answered all my questions and honestly did whatever it took to make the sale. He didn't try to upsell me at all, if there was a discount that he could get for me he got it. We went to the dealer last Friday to look at the car and see if we could pick one up. We were in a hurry and only ended up taking a look and Randy was very knowledgeable about the car. He answered all of our questions and went on to provide us with information regarding the car and the deal he could get for us and how everything would work. We ended up leaving the dealer without the car on Friday, because we didn't have enough time and this didn't faze Randy. He gave us time and space for us to make our decision. I contacted Randy late Saturday night and he took the time out of his time after work to answer my questions and get the information he needed to make the sale. Sunday morning I contacted Randy in order to ask for a huge favor. To surprise my dad on his birthday by delivering the car to our house. He said that it wouldn't be a problem. My experience with Randy was phenomenal. He got us the best deal that he could get for us and we didn't haggle at all. He went above and beyond for us and i am grateful for that. If you are in the market to buy or lease a new vehicle contact Randy Simons at Rydell Chevrolet! read more

If you have the mental strength to endure pure emotional torture and disrespect, buy a car here. If not, STAY AWAY. My business completely depends on my truck, and I made this clear from day one. Initially, I contacted their Van Nuys branch, but they quoted a 2-day turnaround. I thought that was too long for a simple check, so I brought it to this local branch instead. What a massive mistake. A simple 1.5-hour job--just a software update and dielectric grease on a connector with NO parts to wait for--ended up taking over three whole days. I was left completely stranded. I had to call them every single day out of anxiety. One day, I even had to ride a bicycle to the shop just to get an update. On the second day, I desperately asked if I could temporarily take my truck out to do my job and return on a slower day, asking if they could keep my place in line or prioritize me then since I was already checked in. one of the staff members completely shut me down, flatly stating that if I take the truck, I would have to start the whole check-in process from scratch and wait all over again. It makes absolutely no sense and shows a complete lack of consideration for the customer's situation. at the day I tryed to pick my fixed car, because of their poor communication and delay, I ended up having to walk an hour from my house to the shop just to get to work on time. While I was losing work, income, and losing my mind with stress, the staff here had the audacity to laugh right in my face. This service team showed zero empathy. What exactly does this warranty even guarantee? Sure, the repair cost itself was covered, but considering the massive amount of money and business I lost over these 3 days, I would have much rather paid out of pocket to get it fixed immediately. This warranty is completely useless if it destroys your livelihood. Absolute nightmare experience." read more

Great buying experience at Rydell last June when I needed a new truck. Many salesman are desperate and have that annoying phony laugh that turns me away. But my salesman, Chris, was easy going, friendly and genuine. He really knew the vehicles, in my case a Silverado, and if he did not know the answer to my question he found it. The store is clean with comfortable waiting area. Was in and out of F & I on record time compared to previous purchases, but I chalk that up to 1) It was approaching 10 PM and 2) my experience with what I don't need and the f & I lady's ability to read that this wasn't my first rodeo. I'm holding back a 5th star for two reasons: 1) In negotiating the price I asked if there were any other incentives or ways to get the price down. While I want the dealership to make make a profit and the salesman a commission, I don't want to overpay. The sales guy and his manager thought we'd exhausted everything. Thankfully I remembered that the Dodge dealer had $1000 available in accessories for business owners. I mentioned this to the salesman who asked his boss and, whadya know, GM also had, not $1k, but $750 for business owners to use for accessories. Hello bed liners and a few other small items. (A lesson to all: as one who sells services, never reduce your fee, only reduce your service, then the fee. As a buyer, if the salesman won't reduce the price, ask for more product.) 2) The center console USB and AC ports did not work so I had to return a few days later to get that fixed as well as the bed liner installed. After 3 hours in the waiting room I was told everything but the USB port was fixed and they'd have to order the part. I brought my laptop and was able to work so my time was not lost, but it was still disappointing. Overall I like Rydell and will shop there again when in the market for a new ride. read more

This is a straight honest review, nothing BOT about this. I'm writing this review because I wanted to make sure I was fully satisfied with my total purchase including the financing with the current lender. 1st, I just noticed a negative review due to pricing which is stupid because he is clearly from another dealership or someone who waited too long for the better pricing. I bought my 2018 truck in December after SCOURING all of SoCal to find the exact style of truck I wanted. The only place that had it was Rydell. The issue I had was I lived in Irvine so I had to do the entire transaction from online (only taking a test drive at my local dealer to make sure it was the truck I wanted). I caught the employee Pricing deal which ended up being better with all the amenities from Rydell. I want to send a shout out to Jule Hayon my sales contact who straight up made this a ridiculous easy process. Besides being patient with all the emails and text messages, he went above and beyond to make sure I was getting something I wanted and working with my budget. And John Turner the finance Manager who was able to mail all my legal documents, and have them in proper order without any shady practice. I bought a Mazda that literally took me 8 hours of back and forth so my wife could have the car she wanted. Overall, I'm greatly satisfied with my truck, the experience and professionalism given to me by theses 2 associates. For the other reviewers who had bad experiences with other people, reach out to these guys. I get blessed in certain situations and was definitely blessed with how simple my process was. It only took about 35 mins the day I picked up the truck to complete the money transaction and have keys in hand when I showed up. Thanks Jule and John, you'll have a client for life should you still be there. Sincerely, Chris D read more

My 22 year old son, a full time college student on a very limited budget needed a commuting car. This was his first time buying. He did his homework and reviewed all the usual internet sites: Autotrader, Cargurus, Truecar, Carmax etc. He made a list of affordable cars, numbering around 30 and started out. The way he was treated was horrific!!! One dealer wouldn't let him test drive until they did a credit check, another dealer tried to sell him a salvage car, a dealer showed him the Carfax to a car with a different VIN number, a salesperson tried to sell him a car with bald tires and a dead battery and told him to just drive slow- and I could go on and on... He was very discouraged as you can imagine. I took him over to RYDELL CHEVROLET. Vig our salesperson was so patient! No pressure, no hard sell. My son must have test driven every used car on the lot. Vig patiently explained about each car and handed him the keys. When we explained we were going to go have dinner and think about it, Vig just said "I will be here if you need me." Did not even try to hold us hostage. When we returned, my son selected a car. They had the lowest price in the windshield (which was $2500 lower than the same car anywhere else with double the mileage). After (not before) my son selected the car, Al, the manager, came out. He had remembered me from a previous purchase. He offered to certify the car and gave us an additional discount. What a hassle-free, pleasant, transparent experience! When it was time to do the paperwork, we met with Renata. She was wonderful! She patiently explained everything to my son with a sense of humor and really treated him like a valued customer! Thank you Al, Vig and Renata!! We are now a RYDELL family. We wouldn't consider going anywhere else and will be back for our next car! You are awesome!!! read more

Dear Rydell Chevrolet, On May 11, 2019, I purchased a car at Rydell in North-ridge. As you all know, purchasing a vehicle is not an easy task. It is tedious, especially when you have a new career and two small children - you have limited time to make important decisions! Our visit started several Saturdays prior to May 11. I knew that I wanted to purchase a used Chevy Cruze, but I wasn't set on how much I wanted to pay. When I first saw the car I wanted, the price was a bit more than I had originally intended to pay - mostly because this Cruze had a fancy RS package. I was helped by a gentleman named Kamar. He was never pushy, and answered all of our multiple questions. We ended up leaving without purchasing the vehicle on our first and second visit, because I wasn't quite set on the price. I kept in communication with Kamar, who was polite and went above and beyond to answer EVEN more of my questions! Eventually I decided that I would return and inevitably purchase the Chevy Cruze with the fancy RS package. To my surprise and delight, the car was still available, and better yet, the price was reduced by $500! I asked for Kamar again, since he was the one who had gracefully provided us with awesome customer service. Kamar was kind, patient and honest. Compared to Keyes Chevrolet, Rydell reigns supreme with their customer service. Mainly because bargaining is not necessary at Rydell due to their fair pricing, whereas other dealerships, like Keyes, make you feel trapped and suckered in and literally try to add hidden fees right before your eyes! I can say this, because I purchased another car at Keyes two years ago. The experience was much more relaxed at Rydell. Thank you, Rydell and thank you, Kamar! Your team is awesome! I love my car! read more

what a scummy, low life mealymouth experience, particularly with Fred nice job, boys, you teed up one of the lowest experiences, in all my years of dealing with used car junk, used car salesman, operations You boys bring it to the newest lowest level ever possible congrats. whoever is looking at this, The headline here IS BUYERS BEWARE! The major experience with these, guysis move on as fast as you can you're wasting your time their deals don't work don't get sucked in to ther Scam to let you drive it for a week or 250 miles. Hear what comes next. OH. you know and somebody and someone took an car to Vegas , and he went a little over the miles and did that . once they went a little over but we worked with him no problems. Well that's not how it actually works you go out do you feel comfortable you try the car do you want to bring it back and yeah like 10 or 15 miles over well grab your ankles you're screwed. What happens next? Oh wait, you just lied to me. and you buried me in the car. I was supposed to just roll over on this and accept it and i will be happy? Really so now. What, you get to do is to turn your car back in with 1000 miles on it in 90 days and then we can upgrade you to the more expensive car that you don't want.! but they want to sell you this one so don't fall into that trap what a 1893 snake oil salesman. Complete liars smile and at your face all along. S orry new customers I would go anywhere else first and never go here again so let me save you a whole piece of rough road with this review . I went in for a regular maintenance check up. I was quoted a two hour wait, lies, was there less than an hour, awesome! Everything went well thankfully and I was on my way. To my surprise, I drove two...three miles away after my service and found that my rear passenger tire needed pressure. Checked it out and sure enough the tire was completely flat, the tire was losing air fast so I decided to call AAA. While waiting to connect with AAA I was like well, I just left the dealership and this probably shouldn't be happening, let me call them first to see what happened. I connected with my service advisor VINCE and sure enough he knew exactly what could have been the issue. He listened to me, without hesitation or doubt he asked for my location and said I'll be there in 20 minutes. He arrived within the time frame, explained to me what the error on their behalf was, filled up my tire and while the compressor did not top it off, asked if I could drive to a gas station to top me off completely. We did, he completed the job and was so patient and caring the whole time. He offered to buy me a snack for my wait and was so polite and helpful. Errors happen, I understand. But to take accountability, to fix the issue, and be as responsive and helpful as Vince was, I think that surpasses the fact that I was in this predicament in the first place. Thanks so much Vince for all your help. My husband was thankful of your response and for taking care of me til the issue was resolved. We truly appreciate you! 5 stars for your help! read more

I am absolutely livid and beyond disappointed with my recent experience at Rydell! I took my pristine 2024 Corvette in for a seatbelt retractor recall, expecting nothing less than top-notch service. Everything seemed fine until I got home, parked in my garage, and discovered scratches ruining the previously perfect rear deck of my car! When I went back to Rydell to confront them about the damage, they had the nerve to act annoyed that I even pointed it out! Can you believe that? Their first response was, "We couldn't have done that because we were working inside the car." I said, "I'm not suggesting that someone scratched my car - I'm saying 'something' scratched my car." Their response was, "Your car was in the technician's stall the whole time." I replied, "I truly doubt my car was in the technician's stall from 7:30 AM to 1:48 PM when I was notified my car was ready to be picked up." They had the audacity to suggest buffing out the scratches, but I shot that down because some are too deep for that pathetic excuse of a fix. Their response? "Well, that's all we can offer." Are you serious?! I brought in my flawless Corvette for a simple recall, and now I'm stuck with a damaged vehicle! If you value your car, DO NOT take it to Rydell! If they can't treat a brand-new Corvette with the respect it deserves, I can only imagine how they would treat your vehicle. This is utterly unacceptable! I am fuming, and I get more upset every time I see the scratches! read more

I was interested in purchasing a 2016 Chevy Traverse. I did some online research, and after test driving a few,at different dealerships. I decided to drive 40 miles to Rydell Chevrolet. I showed up about 7:45 on Saturday night 12/03/16. I'm sure glad I did! I was met at the door by salesperson Robert Barkulis. He immediately made me feel comfortable.I told him I was interested in the pre-owned 2016 Traverse on saw on their web site. We went out to the lot to take a look at it.He went over a few features of the vehicle. We went on a test drive. It was the one I was looking for! Robert was very friendly and knowledgeable I never felt pressured,he has a great approach. Back at the dealership he introduced me to his sales manager Brian, he was also great! Brian listened and answered all my questions. He found good financing and offered me an extended warranty, which I did purchase since the price was very good for a 2016 Traverse. Once i agreed on the terms of the deal. Brian had his finance person (Benito) start on the contract. He did the paperwork efficiently and answered my questions.Robert also went the "extra mile" helped me by calling the rental car company to pick up their car from the Rydell lot. Thank you Robert,Brian and Benito for staying late on a Saturday night. I would recommend Rydell Chevrolet to my friends and family. I'm very happy with the service I received and got a great deal at Rydell Chevrolet!! read more

I got interested in checking out Chevy Equinox 2017 to replace my expiring leased vehicle. Christina Valenzuela responded positively to my internet inquiry. I visited Rydell dealership in Devonshire, Northridge to check out their advertised Equinox. To my pleasant surprise, they really have their advertised car available (I was pessimistic at first since this is a common ploy by a number of establishments - advertise a product then tell you it's already sold and would offer you another one). Richard Ivanyi is an awesome guy to deal with. He personally attended to me during my visit - answered my questions and took me to their car lot to test drive the vehicle of my choice. He also took the time to explain to me all the features of the vehicle. He's always available answering my phone calls every time I have a question. A big thank you to these 2 wonderful people at Rydell, Northridge. I brought home a new Equinox 2017. I highly recommend giving them a call or a visit whenever you need a vehicle. As far as the Equinox itself, I hope it would perform satisfactorily (this is my very first Chevy vehicle). On the negative side, I hope the dealership would allot a few more parking spaces for customers (I suppose they have a huge inventory of vehicles occupying so much space). I have to drive around their compound, even towards the back to find an open space, during my 2 visits. read more

The experience that my twin daughters and I enjoyed purchasing a 2014 Chevy Volt from Rydell Chevrolet in Northridge was outstanding. Upon our arrival we received a warm reception from our salesman Patrick M. Reed, who made us feel very welcome and comfortable, answering our questions and leading us to the autos we wanted to examine. Patrick's sincere kindness and knowledge really helped us in our decision to purchase just the right vehicle. This car is my daughter's, and I know that everything about her experience at Rydell Chevrolet has established a standard of excellence that will guide future auto purchases in her future. Moreover, Fred Alvarado in the Finance Department was friendly and considerate as he patiently walked us through the auto loan process with clarity, answering and explaining our questions. Our visit with him was equally enjoyable, removing the stress that often comes from an auto purchase. Fred also informed us that he is a Volt owner (he has had two of them), confirming to us the soundness of our choice in a used car. I must add that the selection of cars was excellent; we drove from Ventura to Rydell Chevrolet in Northridge, and remain thankful that we did! A BIG THANK YOU to Patrick Reed, Fred Alvarado, and Rydell Chevrolet, for making this automobile purchase the very best that I have ever experienced. These guys are truly the best! read more

I have always had a pleasant experience at Rydells. Any time I've had my trailblazer serviced there, I have not only been well taken care of in terms of service, but everyone was friendly and greeted me. My recent visit was to purchase a brand new 2013 Silverado LT. The process was SO smooth. Fred Alvarado was incredibly helpful and make the process so easy. Benni was our Sales guy and he was super nice and was great. We knew upfront exactly what truck we wanted so when we were browsing the trucks, he was right there to offer his support on the lot. We test drove the truck, and then came back to buy the same truck, but with the bedliner in it. I LOVE MY TRUCK! My wife now drives the trailblazer and the Truck is the best vehcile I have ever had! The deal was unbeatble. I told everyone I know, literally everyone about the deal, how well Rydell took care of me, and that this is the place to go. Even going into the bathrooms during remodling I noticed the sign "If we don't take care of the customer, someone else will" - and Rydell does exactly that, they take care of their customers. I have told all my friends and family that this is the place to go. I would be willing to do a commercial for free for Rydells because my experience was so great!!! Unbeatable prices, great service, and this is exactly how customer service should be!!!! I love you guys! read more

Wow am I one happy guy after tonight, thanks to Joe Pinto I drove off with my first car. I came to Rydell looking for a nice first car and Joe started showing me the cars they had in stock and he got me interested in the Chevy Cruze. I noticed they had them in manual too which I love and that got me even more interested. At this point I already knew if I was going to get a car from here it was definitely going to be the Cruze. I told Joe I wanted to think about exactly what I wanted and he handed me his business card saying "take all the time you need". After about a week later I came back to talk to him again and let him know I was going to get the car and I asked for a white Cruze with black interior and a manual transmission. He told me they don't have any in stock that are white with a manual transmission but he told me he would be able to get it for me. He told me he needed to do a dealer trade which takes anywhere from 3-5 days and I was going to wait on his call. Exactly 3 days I got a call from him saying the car was ready. Joe drove about 200 miles round trip just to bring me the car I wanted. With only $1000 down and a monthly payment of $136 I was signing as fast as possible. When my 2 year lease is done I'm definitely giving Joe a call to see what I'm getting next, thank you Rydell for an amazing deal and a great car! 5 stars read more

A major red flag! I visited Rydell Chevrolet today with the intention of purchasing a 2026 Corvette Z06 through a cash payment. The vehicle was parked on the lot, showing visible signs of rust and missing parts that were still pending installation. After inspecting the car, I asked the salesperson if I could schedule an appointment for a test drive once the vehicle was fully assembled and ready. I was informed that "the dealership policy prohibits test drives on brand-new vehicles unless a loan application has been approved." This policy makes little sense. While it is understandable not to put excessive mileage on a new vehicle, potential buyers should at least have the opportunity to experience the vehicle before committing to such a significant purchase. Furthermore, given that Corvette models from 2024 through 2026 have been recalled for fuel leakage issues that could cause fires, it is especially important to allow potential customers to test drive the cars in question to ensure there are no mechanical or safety concerns. Overall, my experience at Rydell Chevrolet raised serious concerns. It seems unlikely that the dealership's owner would purchase clothing, cars, or any other product without first trying or testing it. This policy reflects poorly on customer trust and transparency. read more

My experience at Chevy Rydell in Northridge was almost too good to be true! My fiancee' was able to find the car we wanted online, and begin the whole car-shopping process from home with the help of Christina. She was professional and helpful, and introduced herself when we arrived at the lot this weekend. This made me feel more at ease and that I was in the right place. Our salesman, Gabriel, was swift, pleasant, and extremely knowledgeable. He was 100% on the ball, and answered all of our questions with confidence and no hesitation, which made me comfortable with the whole experience with Gabriel as our guide. Next came Fred in Financing. I've car shopped many times in the past, and Fred won the Gold in the payment process portion of the whole deal. He explained everything in terms we totally grasped and felt good about. He was friendly and professional, as well. The entire team seemed to work like a well-oiled machine on a busy Saturday. We left the lot in our "new" 2011 Chevy Volt at a great price, and the car is amazing. It really looks and feels brand new. All in all I give Christina, Gabriel, and Fred, plus the entire Chevy Northridge squad five big bright shiny gold stars, and recommend that car shoppers go there first for an easy, pleasant, and satisfying car shopping experience. read more

Rydell is Amazing!! Here is our story. Rydell was the second dealership I went to while looking for my Volt. The first dealership was awful, a typical case of bate and switch. We were quoted a price over the phone and it quickly changed once we were in the dealership. After walking out I began looking on the internet and found Rydell. The price Rydell had on their website was already lower than the first dealership. I called them on the phone and explained to them the experience I had with the first dealership. The woman I spoke with explained to me they were not on commission. She transferred me to Raymond Campana, from there it was a great experience. He was able to provide me with an amazing deal over the phone. I told him I would be there in the morning. When I got there the car was detailed and charged up. I have never had a smoother experience buying a car. Raymond Campana was very knowledgeable about the whole process and the car. Fred Alvarado helped us through the paperwork, we were in and out of his office within 15 min. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. Rydell really has the whole process of buying a car down, it was stress free and enjoyable exactly what buying a car should be. Rydell is the place to go for your next Chevrolet. read more
