    We got our Jetta about a month ago with Vache at NV motors He is amazing. He helped us with the application and helped me understand about credit and it being my first time getting a car. He explained bout buying instead of leasing and what each means. He looked for 2 days to find the color I wanted and didn't give up until we got a great deal.     A Refreshingly Honest and Respectful Car Buying Experience…read more ** A Refreshingly Honest and Respectful Car Buying Experience** After several frustrating experiences while shopping for a new car, my visit to Galpin Mazda completely restored my faith in the car-buying process. At a previous dealership, I had already agreed on a price and was ready to buy when they suddenly added "mandatory add-ons" that were already installed on the vehicle--things like VIN and catalytic converter etching--adding about $4,600 to the price for items I neither wanted nor needed. I walked out feeling extremely frustrated and angry. The next day, while venting to a friend, they suggested I try Galpin Mazda. I was actually planning to rent a car for another week and continue searching, but I decided to give them one last shot first. Honestly, I went in expecting the worst and was mentally prepared for another fight. Instead, the entire experience was the exact opposite. It started with the phone call. I'm pretty particular about what I want (for example, I really don't like leather-type seats), and I also didn't want a black car. The person on the phone actually took the time to go physically confirm they had exactly what I was looking for before continuing the conversation. We discussed pricing, and while their number was slightly higher than the original quote from the other dealership, they **did not have any of those "mandatory add-ons."** That made the total cost lower and far more transparent. I was even able to complete much of the paperwork over the phone with Manny Arias, the salesperson I worked with. Even so, my guard was still up because of my earlier experiences. When I arrived at the dealership, everything continued to be smooth and genuinely pleasant. I have a mobility issue, and I really appreciated how respectful the staff was. Often, people assume they're helping and immediately try to grab or touch you. At Galpin, the employee in the lot came over and **asked if he could help** rather than assuming. Anyone with a disability will appreciate that level of respect. He held the door for me and offered me a drink while I waited. Manny, the salesperson I spoke with the night before, came out with the keys and showed me the exact car we had discussed. It was **exactly what I wanted**, and most importantly, there were **no surprise dealer add-ons** attached to it. When it was time to get into the car for the test drive, he again asked how he could help rather than assuming--another big plus for me. I simply asked him to hold my crutches since they normally sit in the passenger seat. The test drive went great, and everything felt straightforward and relaxed. The finance process took a little longer due to the paperwork, but again, it was very pleasant and completely transparent. There were no surprises. I did decide to add prepaid maintenance because I tend to keep my cars for a long time and prefer having them serviced at the dealership anyway. Overall, my experience at Galpin Mazda turned what had been a frustrating car search into a genuinely positive experience. Janice, followed up with me as promised and eventually warm transferred me to a salesperson- Eric F. At the Van Nuys location. Eric was patient and was responsive through text, email and phone call as I was unsure of what I wanted to do. Eric kept me abreast of the upcoming sales event (along with Janice) that they were having during Black Friday. As I didn't want to waste unnecessary time I wanted to arrive to the dealership with an idea of what I wanted to test drive. Eric made sure it all worked out. As they were very busy on a Saturday, a salesperson - Miguel assisted myself and my husband. He was also very friendly and checked in with us. Miguel handled a large percentage of the paperwork and went with us for the test drive. The actual location is currently being expanded further from what we were told so, due to the capacity my husband and I had to sit in the service area (that was closed for the day) for our time there while everyone else was in their main sales building. Understood, that they had to work with what they had. After wrapping up, we met with a very kind Finance representative named, Alex. He was thorough and a pleasure to interact with as well. Also, while waiting I have to add that Miguel offered to buy us Starbucks from the location located within a dealership where the finance area was. And the first time they didn't fix the problem at all, just put a bandaid on it. 40~ days later, they concluded it was the same issue the local shop thought it was. Lastly, they broke my windshield. We've been trying to get reimbursed for the last month for the tinting we spent on it, but they cleverly avoid our calls and refuse to pick up the phone. The folks here are friendly and full of smiles, but it's to counterbalance the terrible service & shadiness.

She was very friendly, knowledgeable and forthcoming with information. I explained my issue and gave her the codes. She further explained that my issue was common and it would be fully covered if my mileage was under 120K. It was. They also did a full video inspection and recommended other repairs that would need to be completed with estimates. She kept me consistently in the loop with accurate updates so that I could manage my expectations with results. Melissa understands how to deliver 100% customer satisfaction! I picked up my car on a Saturday and Frances helped me at the desk. She was very pleasant and helpful. She even got the guy from the parts department to the desk so my husband could purchase brakes for my car. Again, friendly and quick service. When I got the car back , the same thing kept happening. I took it to a mechanic and he said the engine motors are bad. I took it back to the dealer and they kept my car for another week. The problem was fixed but when I got my car back there was a racial slurs on the back of my car. Here we are two and a half months later , and guess what ...the vibration is back which means they just did a half assed job. I am so tired of dishonest mechanics and dealers. What happened to being good human beings? Now I have to figure out how much this is going to cost me. Shame on you.

The waiting area is comfortable, the Wi-Fi is reliable, and the new FIKA Kafé is a nice touch. I used to enjoy having Starbucks at the old location, but the espresso drinks here are exceptionally good. The service experience has also become more transparent. You now receive a video from the technician explaining any findings and recommendations, along with a text message containing your updated quote. During my most recent visit, the technician recommended replacing one of my front tires due to unusual wear. After reviewing the video and inspection results, I decided to replace both front tires since they were wearing faster than the rears. This was actually the first time I've requested more work than was recommended. I appreciated being given clear information and options without any pressure. I plan to keep my XC40 for a few more years. It was one of the first 2019 XC40s sold by Galpin when the model was released, and with only 40,000 miles on it, it's still running like new. Will I be back? Absolutely. Galpin makes servicing easy, and the technology they've added to the process is a big improvement.

Claims it's an older car and will have issues but when sold they claimed it had no problems and having it with me the brakes gave me problems. Now aside with the money spent to get it I'll have to fix it myself some way investing more than what the car is worth, mechanic " fixed " the car but still with the same issues. Very convenient Too much issues, be careful when purchasing here because they might sell a defective vehicle, do not recommend at all.

We were told all documentation would be filed and that the plates and title would be mailed to us. Months later, nothing has arrived. When we checked with the DMV, we were told that no paperwork had been filed and the title was not even in the seller's name. The man who sold the car is no longer in business, but he and Bruno (the current dealer on this lot) are close associates. After I called this dealership, Bruno finally reached out and claimed he had filed the paperwork and that the car only needed a smog check. That was over three weeks ago, and the DMV has confirmed that no documents have been filed. At this point, we just want our money back. We have filed a complaint with the DMV and are preparing to pursue legal action. Warning: Be very careful when purchasing a car from smaller lots like this one. Once they have your money, you may end up in the same situation -- no plates, no title, and no resolution.

As I…read moreindicated in my tip, this is a great little used car lot, but is tragically located in the wrong part of town. As a result, I witnessed customer after customer haggling and nearly begging the owner Paris to sell them cars which they have no business buying. He specializes in low mileage cars that are in excellent condition so his cars are on the upside of used cars. For instance, i just bought a Hybrid Honda as a Christmas gift with only 36K miles on it and with a 4-year warranty. So I expected to pay a little bit above bluebook due to the low mileage and the exceptional condition of the car. He is a one man shop with a mechanic and is very busy so it is best to be patient for the quality of his service and cars. There were people walking in off the street while I was there that had no business buying these types of cars and arguing over their extremely poor credit and lack of down payment. This guy is a saint to even entertain these people, but he does largely based on his location in a crappy part of North Hills. His shop should be in Beverly Hills or Santa Monica but due to the location he gets lots of knuckle heads walking in and wanting to test drive fancy BMW X5s and complaining about filling out paperwork such as credit checks or loan applications. I found his inventory fairly decent if you are in the market for a BMW or other quality used cars. He has limited staff so please be patient if you don't have an appointment. I found him extremely patient, customer service oriented, and a fair negotiator. This is a pretty decent shop and sure was refreshing compared to the 'hard sells' of the traditional car dealers.

Keith was easy to work with and we landed on a fair price for the car I truly wanted. What stood out most was his honest and efficient approach. He wasn't pushy about extended warranties or add-ons; he understood I just wanted to get the car and get on with my evening. It was so refreshing to deal with a salesperson who was professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating without any of that false friendliness. The entire purchase was quick and painless. I was in and out within a couple of hours, which is unheard of for car buying! I have to add, it was already 9 o'clock at night by the time I decided to purchase the car. So that probably had a lot to do with the quick process as no one wants to work oast closing time-Everyone wants to go home for dinner! However, Keith ensured the process was smooth and respected my time. Even though I live in Seal Beach and the drive to Galpin Lincoln is significant, if there's a car there that I really wanted, like a Jeep or a Bronco, Keith Slater would be my first call. I wholeheartedly recommend working with him! And I really like the fact that I keep getting postcards from him during holidays like July 4, my birthday, Xmas....It's a nice personal touch. He may not remember me however, I remember him and would be willing to work with him again and definitely recommend him! I did not write a full five stars because I really didn't spend much time at the dealership to know whether I would recommend it, if they had a variety of choices, if they were fairly priced, etc. I'm just basically writing the sales person!
