It has taken FOUR months to get them to re-bill the second insurance and get a refund. I'm still calling to follow up as they say it is still processing. Reading the poor reviews on google, the issues seems to lie in their registration process. Please hire a real MA with billing and registration experience. Urgent care charges very expensive might as well hire competent front desk staff that doesn't make patients do all the registration on their phone. And okay, I can do it on my phone. I even pre registered at home on my computer. I am meticulous, prepared, and had insurance cards with me, but then their practice did not file my second insurance correctly. The Care quality was average as expected. I only came here because of good reviews. Taking a closer look at the reviews. It's the recent reviews that are bad and older reviews that are good. The nurse I saw (Elizabeth) was great. Pain became debilitating day after visit. Called, several times, trying to get a callback, leave a voicemail etc all of which were refused by whomever would answer. In addition on 9/27/2023 I get a txt to pay a bill. Should of owed $40 for an injection. Instead they chose to bill AGAIN for the visit, and the injection. The bill was received 9/27/2023 and is DUE the same day, leaving no time to get a correct bill. Called and attempted to get it resolved, and after being told it was fixed and i could now pay the $40 balance, I'm still being billed for the visit and injection. It's a shame the nurse I saw isn't at a reputable clinic since she was good and actually listen to me.

Honestly, had a great experience…read more I was visiting from out of state, as I live in Florida. My insurance doesn't cover out of state visits, so it was $210 upfront via self-pay. However the customer experience was great. Clean office, charismatic and friendly people. I went in for lingering congestion and a cough after a cold I had about a week and a half ago. They think it's bronchitis. They gave me a steroid shot, and a prescription for a plethora of antibiotics and steroids for the next week, along with an albuterol inhaler for the wheezing. They were much kinder, efficient, and thorough than any FL urgent care I've been to. In FL, there's sometimes a cheaper $100-ish cost to get into the clinic, and then an additional bill sent to your home weeks later. This clinic assured me that the $210 I paid upfront will be the only bill I have to pay, aside from the prescriptions from Publix. That was a huge relief, also.

***Update*** After initially reporting a good experience…read morechecking in for surgery and after my dad was assigned a room, the bottom dropped out, I informed the Patient Tech, Dee, that he had a BM. She asked the nurse, Olivia, to assist her. They both cleaned him up. An hour or so later, he had another BM. I informed Olivia, and she assured me Dee was notified. They both returned to the room 15 min before their shift ended. Dee stood there looking as though we had forgotten we needed her assistance with cleaning him up. It had been 2hrs since they were notified. I offered to clean him up, but he told me no bc it is their job to do it. When the new shift started at 7, I informed them that we had waited 2hrs for him to be cleaned. The new nurse, Ruby, and Patient Tech Patty both acknowledged it was unacceptable behavior. Ruby repeated several times that they do not handle their patients like that. Ruby and Patty worked together to get him cleaned. They asked if there was anything else I needed, as they knew I was not pleased. I told them I was ok but disappointed. I've heard stories of patients being overlooked in nursing homes but not in hospitals. I see it happens everywhere. There has been another shift change, and I'm not sure who the Patient Tech will be, but I would like someone who is well-trained and has BEDSIDE MANNERS. Dee, the patient tech who did not change him, was young, maybe 30, but still no excuse. You've been trained and know better. From what I understand, she served in the military. Overall, it has been a good experience, but the quality of care needs major improvement.

The vast majority of cat bites get infected (because of enzymes and bacteria most cats have), so it's standard protocol to take antibiotics. My "appointment" was set up for 11:30 AM on Sunday. I get all the way there, only for them to tell me once I arrive that they are suddenly closing early because of the snow. The snow that everyone knew about for several days ahead of time. CVS is open. Walgreens is open. Applebee's is open. But the Urgent Care needs to close so suddenly that they can't see a pre-scheduled 20-minute appointment that is: (a) medically important, and (b) should not require going to a hospital in the middle of a pandemic. What's more, I stayed in the parking lot for several more minutes, trying to figure out next steps. Nobody left. None of the cars parked at this place moved. Unfortunately, I'll be back because this is the closest urgent care covered by my insurance. Hence this review. Whoever is running this place is a terrible decision-maker and needs to do better.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND Piedmont Urgent Care!!!!!…read more First, I was asked to put my card on file but was told I would not be charged anything before being notified. The receptionist said they would call me if there was a balance after filing insurance. Several weeks later I was charged $257 without any notification. Secondly, the nurse practitioner is completely incompetent. She prescribed my daughter ear drops that after insurance costs approximately $300 and would not be available for 2 days. I had to return to the office to ask for another medication as the NP would not answer the pharmacist call. She then called in another random prescription that was not in stock. The pharmacist had to call the clinic once again in an attempt to inform her of the most commonly and in stock medication used for swimmers ear to which she finally prescribed. Incompetence at the highest level!!!
