Local Post has lots of TVs, making it a great spot to watch sporting events. The beer and drink selection is solid, and the overall vibe was good, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Service was a little slow the day we went, but not terrible. The food is always pretty good, but not great where I'm like "omg this is SO good!" I ordered the chicken bacon ranch pizza, which had good flavor but felt like it was missing something; maybe a bit more seasoning or being cooked slightly longer. The toppings were also sliding off, which made it a little messy to eat. Overall, a decent place to grab drinks and catch a game!

Might be the Best grilled cheese and fries ever and I've reviewed 800 restaurants? Oh and there was a wonderful tomato soup with that for dipping! Oh and there was so much to eat it could have been split. Wow! I love this place. Super people behind the bar and working the floor. Even the cook was a delight to talk to. The ambiance was casual but cool enough for a great date night. And a wide selection of ales and spirits as you can see behind this historic bar.

My Mr. has dined here for lunch and highly recommend we check it out. We had scheduled a candle making class at Manitou Candle and wanted to eat nearby. Plus the Bengals game was on and wanted to watch it before our class. My Mr mentioned coming here and what a great recommendation. This is your basic pub and grub meals but made bistro style. They have plenty of seating and mass TVs everywhere if you want to watch a game. When it warms up, they have an outside patio that you can sit and enjoy your drinks/meals. Walked in and were seated right away. Our Server asked if it was our first time. Since it was mines, she went through the menu and told me which are best sellers, which I thought was really nice and helpful. Their menu is simple. But have a lot to offer. Appetizers, burgers, salads and pizzas. We ordered: -Slider Sampler- GOAT, East End, 1788 w/ fried -Reuben Sliders w/ house salad -Mastered Legendary Lager -Clos Du Bois Cabernet Sauvignon Wow! The sliders were amazing. I really loved the goat! The fig and goat cheese went really well with the burger. Sweet and salty goodness! The other two were not messy to eat and loved the sauce! The fries were not greasy and loved that they topped it with bread crumbs seasoning. My Mr killed his Rueben. I had a taste of it and loved the flavor! Overall it was such a great experience and the service was great! I found my fave sports bar and can't wait to come back and try the other items on the menu, especially the bruschetta!

Cute place with great service and tasty comfort food. Hubby loved the East End Burger and post fries. Chicken and waffles were delicious as well.

My boyfriend and I have come to Local Post a few times because of their patio and being able to bring our pup. The food is decent and we enjoy the back patio, but I unfortunately have to write this review because of how poor the service was. I am a server myself and give people grace and patience because I know how crazy the service industry can be, but there were only 3 tables outside and it took our server 15ish minutes to greet us (no menus or 'hi welcome, how are you'). I had to ask for a water 2 times, and ended up going inside because our server never brought one and she was unable to find. There was no bussing of our table either, we had sat around a previous mess when getting there. Lastly, the beer pour. Just look at the photo and you'll see what I'm talking about. I really do want to go back for the ambience, but I would appreciate better service.

We we looking for a good burger on a Sunday. Most people are closed but not the local post. We walked and and got a spot by the kitchen window. We ordered one of everything I think the fries, burger and wings. Let me tell you, everything was amazing. We passed up on the servers suggested burger but after trying everything we order ANOTHER burger. Only complaint is we could have done without the fries, which was appetizer sized. A good problem to have lol

So I was in the east end for work and just really wanted a grilled cheese and soup. I looked up to see what was around me and this place popped up. After looking at the menu I decided to try it. Although the grilled cheese is a mix of cheeses (including goat cheese) but I figured it would be ok...I mean who doesn't like goat cheese. I ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup. The atmosphere was nice...it's has a bar and it's pretty spacious. The food....well it wasn't bad. It was just blah....the soup was very bland and although it sounded good...goat cheese grilled cheese is not a good idea. But I was so hungry I ate it. I would them again but later in the day...like I said it wasn't bad but it wasn't that meal that I was looking for....they were being fancy and what I needed was plain jane

Great local bar to watch and game and enjoy some well crafted food. We live extremely close by and we're able to walk which makes this place even more desirable. The service was super friendly and the food is pretty good, definitely a sports bar feel but unique because of their location and building. We ordered some game-day essentials which included pizza, wings, and loaded fries. Notable findings here was the dry rub on the wings and the perfectly crisp pizza crust! We will be back for sure and look forward to trying different things on their menu.

I ordered salmon and it was nicely prepared and crisp on the outside with summer vegetables. The butter sauce was too voluminous for the dish and overwhelmed what was supposed to be a "light" dish - it was super heavy with melted butter. The environment for a Wednesday evening was busy! We had a bit of an issue in that we made the reservation over two weeks ago with the specific request to be seated away from the kitchen door, and we ended up being seated right near the very small hostess area and of course, next to the kitchen door. Our server mostly made up for it with good service and a very nice demeanor.

I don't really have words to describe it. They only have one size pizza and, at first, I thought it was huge. However, the flavor was so amazing I kept wanting more. Hubs and I did a half and half pizza. His half was the Alms Park and my half was bacon and pineapple. I probably could have eaten a whole pizza by myself. The blend of cheeses and their sauce - so stinking good. We also got a house salad to split. Being that this was to go - they gave us the main salad in one container with their house made croutons in a separate container and their house made vinaigrette in a separate container - it keeps everything fresh and crisp! The croutons were so delicious and fresh! On top of that, the vinaigrette was amazing. We both fell in love with it. We walked in and ordered instead of placing online or calling. The service was AMAZING! We decided to wait in our car and they walked it out to us! They were amazingly friendly and wonderful. Their pizza isn't the cheapest pizza around but it was worth the money we spent. This won't be an every week visit, but definitely a new favorite. While this location is carry-out only, it was very welcoming. They also sell bottles of wine and had signs talking about them. It was a very neat little local place. I'd like to actually try their new location where we can eat in! Do yourself a favor and try this place.

Best GF/cauliflower pizza: lots of toppings to choose from (though somehow chicken isn't an option on DD) and again, from the mushrooms to the sauce, you can taste the difference. They make the sauces in house! According to my husband, best Chicken Parm he has had since moving here! You get a healthy portion. And...best cannoli in the area! Growing up in a predominantly Italian and Polish area, I have been lucky to have REALLY good Italian pastries...and their cannoli was reminiscent of those times. The gentleman who brought us our caprese salad, didn't directly say anything to us, but instead spoke only to the bartender (as he placed the salad in front of us) and told him not to place any more orders for caprese. He seemed inconvenienced by our order and more interested in his smoke break. We were surprised at the presentation and at the lack of flavor but assumed that the pizza would be amazing! based on what we had read and heard - but were incredibly disappointed. The pizza was flavorless and Incredibly greasy. Our impression is that this must be a great location for college students or those who have enjoyed their drinking experience and need some grease to sober them up and don't mind what they are eating. We were very let down in our experience and the lack of professionalism from the employee who seemed to think that since he was in the speakeasy, he didn't need to be professional.
