They did a great job, from their cheerfulness when making my appt., to their compassion when I had to wait a minute before I went back there to get it done. (I am truly claustrophobic). Months after that experience, I needed to get another copy of the MRI CD for a different one of my doctors. I called in and Kelda was so kind about it and sent it out that day. She sent it to the right address, to the attention of the right person. I don't take this type of kind efficiency for granted anymore. It was a wonderfully smooth experience and I thank her for it. Now for the not so great part. I can definitely relate to Jeff H.'s experience, 4/9/19. I had the same thing dealing with the MRI tech. She tried to pressure and rush me until I insisted that she leave me alone for a minute or I was leaving. That problem is the reason why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5. If I needed to I would go there again, it was very clean and comfortable. And now I know how to deal with the MRI tech. I will be respectful, but firm.

I finally went out into the hall and asked how much longer and I was to 30 more minutes at which time I went to the front and got my copay back. I never saw a doctor or provider anywhere during my visit. When I asked where the doctor was I was told they only had providers present. I told the girl I had been talking to that this was absolutely unacceptable. She looked at me , said have a nice day and walked off. I will never go there again! It had been recommended to me by a friend so I was expecting professional service. If there was a zero star rating that would be my choice.

Because I was treated the day after my symptoms began the PA's treatment approach was "not to do anything crazy like a normal course of 7 or 10 day antibiotics." I received a 5-day script of Azithromycin (not Z-Pak) with a 1-dose-per-day. After a week my symptoms only got worse. I had to miss 3 days of work. Being 65 the congestion concerned me most. So I called them back to request they call in an expectorant to break up the congestion. They said I would need to pay them AGAIN in order for them to call a script for congestion in. Though this establishment is not corporately owned (their words not mine) it sounds like Dr Perry as the owner has a bottom line corporate business model. More and more small town establishments are all about the money. This was my first and last time at this facility. Don't waste your money once or twice if they try and finagle your hard-earned dollars. And, don't bother researching them via their website. It's been non-existent (down) for some time. But that makes sense. I hope this helps the working man trying to feed his family in rural GA.

Let me start off by saying I'm generally prone to having sinus infections, I visited this clinic…read morebecause my normal clinic I go to was closed, I was asked multiple questions like usual to pinpoint what the issue is, but during I had mentioned that I was almost positive that it was a sinus infection, same symptoms as usual, lime green mucus stuffy/runny nose, pressure in nasal area etc. After checking my throat and ears this girl tells me that she believes it could be strep and that the test is $15, of course I pay it and it comes back negative, she proceeds to tell me that I have fluid in my ear but is not an infection yet.....I asked for antibiotics anyway, but because she said she didn't see the infection they wouldn't prescribe it, fast forward to the checkout window and $57 later, I go to another clinic who did diagnose it as a sinus infection....now I don't normally make posts like this or posts at all but I was so aggravated that I had to spend money at this place and another place because the staff was not capable of doing there job, I will definitely not be coming back here ever

When we finally did see a "Doctor" she told us "maybe you should go to the emergency room (15 minutes away from where we live) and that she couldn't help him. No questions about what was going on, no interest in his level of pain. Did not introduce herself.She was more concerned that his mask was falling off his nose than in why he was there. We have never been so mad! We left. Went down the street to Northside Urgent Care and it was night and day different. Positive review for them! Appropriate questions and responses. Attentive Doctor who determined it was indeed a very bad muscle spasm. Sent in a prescription, suggested Physical Therapy, and ice packs. He was treated with respect and like a person. Don't waste your time with Northeast Georgia Physicians Group Urgent Care in Dawsonville, Georgia. Northside is a better choice.

My Referrals have been screwed up on more than one occasion and it takes multiple voicemails to even get a call back. Sadly, I won't be going back.
