Northwest Construction and Landscape first did an overhaul to my yard in 2011 and I couldn't have been happier with the outcome. My yard was borderlining "eyesore" status before Colby and Meeshka worked their magic. They were both knowledgeable, professional and very easy to work with. Before the landscaping overhaul started, I explained the vision for my dream yard, along with the amount of yard work I was willing to do after the project was completed. Together, they created a front yard that is beautiful, easy to maintain and something I am proud to show off. The numerous compliments from our neighbors helps solidify that I made the right decision when I entrusted them to redesign our yard. Colby did such a great job with our landscaping, I ended up becoming a maintenance customer. Their crews come out once every few weeks to spruce it up and they always do a great job. Colby checks in periodically as well to make sure everything is okay, which is always nice because I know he's a busy guy. I have been a client of Northwest Construction & Landscape for several years. They've been maintaining my yard and flower beds and they've always done a wonderful job. They took my dying yard and wild flower beds and shrubs and have turned them into well-maintained, beautifully groomed and shaped lawn and gardens. So when our rock retaining wall in the backyard needed to be replaced it was a no-brainer who we would choose! And while they were at it, I asked them to plant new plant materials in our greenbelt and along the back of our house -- both of which are problem areas due to the amount of shade the receive. And just to add to the equation, I asked them to fix a drainage issue we had. And they did it all superbly! Our retaining wall looks great, the drain has already proven itself to be very effective -- no more standing water for us! -- and the plants look beautiful and are thriving! The team was very professional and friendly. They were excellent about cleaning up after themselves each day and at the end of the job. And, most importantly to me as a "mom" of two huskies, they were really good about making sure the gate was closed and locked behind them each day. We had these guys do a patio for us after seeing what they did for a neighbor of ours. First of all-- Jeff who came and met with us was much more professional than the other company we met with. Not to mention that some other companies never even returned calls! Honestly it was a little more than we wanted to spend, but we were prepared for it and felt good about paying for a company that focuses on doing it right. We had a lot of questions throughout the process that Jeff or Colby or someone in the office answered promptly. They had us call the company they order the concrete through so that we could see for ourselves the extra cost involved with adding color to our patio. They took a front area of our home that was falling apart and put it back together with new drainage and irrigation systems, decorative walls, sidewalks, pavers and lighting -- all in the middle of the Pacific Northwest rainy season.
