Very not happy with this clinic after last year's annual visit. Love the doctor, but there is no way to contact him directly to get his assistance - which is completely ridiculous. The office refuses to bill the services correctly so the insurance will cover it. I have reached out repeatedly, and they have ignored all contact and refused to engage in any conversation as to WHY they will not correct their error. Instead, they have ghosted me like a bad ex and sent my bill to collections. Is this an office that cares about its patients? NO! read more

When I went for a 2nd visit (follow up from 1st visit) I never saw the doctor. His treatment for allergies was not working and the test was non-conclusive. I cancelled the CT and further testing but he never came in to examine me or ask how his prescription meds were working. Then his office staff were unable to refund the charges for the cancelled treatments (blamed on computer error). I have not received an itemized bill for remaining charges and do not believe that I encurred over $100 for this visit. I will never go back! read more

Wish I could give this a 0 star. Never go here. The Dr was not a Dr but a PA, and he never bothered to introduce himself. I was there due to Vertigo episode and crystals (first time), and my ear was clogged. First they gave me an hearing test which I partially failed. Why? Because they did not unclog my very clogged ear! The PA was unable to unclog it because he quit when I jumped when he stuck my ear with short something. Terrible experience. I went to Wellstar ENT and they vacuumed the giant clog out and did a hearing test that I passed. Spoke to Northwest Office Manager and explained what happened. I asked why they did not have a vacuum and she said they did. So why wasn't it used. I told her to shred my file I will never be back fr any reason. read more

Dr. Kauffman is the best ENT I've ever seen. With his expertise, he was able to surgically fix my unbelievably loud snoring and severe sleep apnea. I am so thankful for his help and wonderful bedside manner, which gave me the confidence to go through with the procedure. Although... I must say that the office staff could have been kinder and more accomodating when I was only 3 minutes late for my 1st appointment due to bad traffic and unfamiliar roads. They refused to let me see the doctor and made me reschedule 3 weeks later... but, all in all, Dr. Kauffman was still worth waiting to see. read more

Be careful when using these people of undisclosed charges. Was never discussed that my deductible wouldn't cover lidocaine spray and billed $500 for having the doctor administer it. Reached out to the office numerous times and went to office repeatedly to discuss. Their office manager will not respond to requests by phone call or in person. The staff will admit it's very likely they will never respond. They sent this to collections and I still have never been contacted by their office manager. read more

I felt the front office staff to be ok but the allergy staff was rather aloof and not especially concerned. The doctor seemed ok but I would not consider returning if I could locate another practice. I was forced to pay more than i expected due to my deductible but trying to get my money back has been next to impossible. I cannot understand why and they have tried to explain it but it doesn't make sense. I will wait until I get my EOB and then contact them again. They don't seem to understand how to explain to patients what they will have to pay upfront. Billing isn't what I had hoped to deal with. read more

My doctor suggested I see an ENT, so I saw a PA. He wanted to scope my sinuses and his nurse told me to sign a document so they could do the procedure. They didn't explain to me that it was considered surgery as per the first statement mailed to me. Nor did they explain there would be a cost of several hundred dollars that I would billed later or charged. If they had taken the time to explain the costs involved with this surgery as they listed originally on the first statement, I would have declined the procedure. read more

In my experience 2 times trying to get help here, the same PA refused to do a culture as I asked. I knew something was very wrong each time so had to go to urgent care twice after visits here. Both times those cultures came back w awful infections that required prescriptions. I reported this to the head doctor at Northwest ENT. Two of the top staff members called me and profusely apologized & they agreed to waive my $30 copay. Both "acted" like they cared & said they'd have a meeting w the team to discuss this "negligence and rudeness" as this was "unacceptable" but, after a month, not one call back! I had an ongoing sinus infection that my primary care nor another ENT did not diagnose. Jeff D'Ambrosio, PA, took the time to test me until he found the problem. I had been to many appointments with other providers to get to the root of the problem and was told nothing was found even though I knew something was wrong. Thank goodness for Mr. D'Ambrosio. After 4 rounds of antibiotics, I still had infection in the sinus, so I had a balloon sinuplasty yesterday by Dr. Kaufmann. I was very pleased with his demeanor, professionalism and patience during the procedure. I am very happy with everyone I've encountered at this practice. I saw the other comments regarding billing. I have Medicare and a good supplement, so I have had no problems with that. read more

Worst medical establishment I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. We've been trying to get test results for a month and there is no way to get them since they just transfer you to the Nurse line and after multiple messages not one return call. The people you speak to on the phone offer no other option except to leave a message. I think Dr. Kaufman is a very good Doctor and really takes an interest in his patients. But I was dismayed that almost nobody in the Canton office other than Dr. Kaufman and the x-ray tech had on a mask. Being an allergy office, of course, there was coughing and it really made me nervous since I am almost 73 years old. As much as I admire and respect Dr. Kaufman I was disappointed that he said this is all political. I just worry that we are not being careful enough and may cause us to have more infections. Stay away from Northwest ENT! I was quoted $700 out of pocket for my surgery after my insurance paid them. I paid it in full, got my surgery, then was billed $2500!!!!!!!!!!! 6 months later! I did not need this surgery, i did it as a precaution, and only went through with it because I was told the cost would be $700. I've called many times and escalated this issue and they continue to send me this $2500 bill. I think I'm going to have to file a lawsuit to get this resolved. Most unprofessional medical facility ever encountered. My first experience was in 2019 in Cartersville office to new hearing aids. They refused to file Blue Cross insurance-said the would provide the forms and I would need to file. They gave me forms with incorrect signatures of attending doctor. It took 6 months to get this resolved after many calls to their bookkeeping office. My second experience was today. When I called I was told I could be given an appointment the next day at 8:30am. I arrived the next day and the doors were closed until exactly 8:30am. As a result, 8 people were all clustered around the outside door and on entering, had to line up while one girl processed each one. On my turn for processing I was told "your appt was for next week". NEVER AGAIN!! read more

I have always been on time for my allergy shots that I go to weekly. I have not missed any appointments for the last two and a half years. The office has always been flexible for those that have to be a few min. early or late. I drive 35 min. to get there. Today there was a slowpoke driver going 35 mph in a 55 mph zone. I arrived exactly 10 min. late. If you try to call the office to tell them you are running late you are put on hold in the que for 30 minutes. They just put up a written notice if you are more than 10 min. you will have to reschedule. They cancelled my shot appointment. I am not seeing a doctor for this, there were very few in the waiting room. I am livid!!!! Be more considerate for a long standing patient and if you change policy give advance warning! When I come to this office it's an hour and ten minutes travel time and at least 40-45 minutes in the office because they require 30 minutes wait after the shot. That's two hours of my time. It's an allergy shot, not an appointment with the doctor!!! read more

I can only describe Northwest ENT and Allergy Center as total chaos. In my opinion they only care about $$$.... they shuttle patients in / out as fast as possible. Claudette, the nurse practitioner, rushes through her evaluations so quickly that I had to ask her to stop and reiterate some of the information she was throwing out. Also, the day of our son's procedure was a nightmare, we were told not to feed him and that he would be the first procedure of the morning so we arrived at 7 am. Only to sit there with an exhausted, hungry toddler for over 2.5 hours while nurses and doctors ran around trying to usher patients all over the facility. Also, our son had a violent reaction waking from the general anesthesia and when we finally got him calmed down and asleep, the nurse had the audacity to tell us we had to wake him up to get the $2 nursing gown off of him instead of letting him rest. Again, it's all about money and not the patient's well-being. The overall environment of the practice and surgery center is stressful, chaotic and with rude employees. Would recommend you find another ENT. read more

I hope that this goes through and they actually fix their business practices by initiating online payment options as they propose. I came by hoping to see that the reviews had improved, but I see that 1 star is still the least they let you give. Not really fair to new people coming into the area looking for a good ENT. I WAS HOPEFUL WHEN I saw the big red CLOSED on the page/hours today, but then it said they were closed for holiday. I thought it'd have been from no patients anymore. Oh well...maybe another time, Yelp will update and let you Give true numbers of stars, until then...I guess I have to settle for "1". (It's not true, I just can't give any lower. (Until then just encourage new patients to find a good place to go Even telling this about them over MANY MANY months, they don't care enough to do anything about it. That says a lot. However, the quality of "service", attitude if the staff from registration through nurse and onto payment/billing. It's obvious you are hindering them from something they'd rather be doing. And you offend them by asking/seeking assistance. One of the biggest problems (after "service" is the ability to tell the truth). I even asked them if they knew of a decent, honest, reputable, ENT office anywhere in the area, and there was ZERO reply. I'm guessing they can't even put themselves in that list. They didn't even respond with their name. If you have ear issues (fortunately I've not subjected myself to the nose/throat) try sesame oil, ear candles, tweezers, basically anything before you give a chance to rip you off and consistently lie to you. For example.... My "18 month tubes" gave me trouble for over 3 months and they were able to see me, give advice, nothing!) and then finally at 4 months, 1 feel out and I could hear. The other was much tougher, it last almost 6 of the 18 months, but I still couldn't hear much. EVEN THOUGH the Dr and PA told me it would last 2-3, sometimes 4 days. A week later, the pa told me the same thing. Short of hearing aids, you're better off living with the problem. (Fewer lies and nasty attitude). I forgot the guys name that said he'd recently taken over the nursing and over all practice of he group. He said it'd take time to get all the "bad" worked out. I agree, a problem that size would be difficult to move all the rubble. He was a nice guy, said he intended to try to fix it. But, in all this time there's been no change, EXCEPT that way they are getting back to you with LIES,and LIES, excuses and more lies, they just totally avoid your calls, messages, reviews altogether. Saves them time and you too. Don't have to read the lies, hope for follow through, or eventually that they stumble into the truth and actually do something they said they do. Maybe roto-rooter, etc. may not be sterile, but they do get to you weed they say. And, they accounts people and check out staff aren't pissed when you take 2-4 min of their time. read more

Horrible staff. Billed procedure improperly and was repeatedly told it was correct. I insisted, pointing out that my daughter didn't even receive the treatments listed on the bill, to which the reply was "how do you know?" I told them that I knew because I was a RN and I just saw she didn't have intradermal testing, for one, as was billed along with several other tests she didn't have. They were going to submit a $1000 charge to insurance for skin prick tests? Yea, right. Then the doctor made us wait until we had signed the new bill to see my daughter, making us wait 20 more minutes! They told me they would need 1/2 the expected cost on the day of allergy test for my daughter and then would ask for the other half after Insurance cleared and they knew the total. Well on day of appointment they demanded what they were "estimating" as the total amount and would not perform the test without it! Against my better judgement and to not leave my daughter and her mother hanging out to dry after taking the day off for this appointment I paid them. Sure enough after the insurance cleared they owed me money, that was 4 months ago and counting. If they pay me and the back interest on my money I might consider changing this review, got a feeling that won't be happening! read more

Claudette Corey, NP saw my 5 year old son. We explained there was inflammation and pain "inside" his ear that needed looked at and for treatment options. She then looked at his ear and said, "He's fine, that's just a skin tag on the outside of his ear." Yes, we know this, he was born that way; was our response. She then disregarded why we came in even though he was having drainage, swelling, and inflammation in his ear. She didn't listen to what our son's symptoms were, and completely incompetent on knowing how to treat the issue he was having. read more
