I came to get the back windshield of my 2012 Toyota Rav 4 replaced last year and had such a positive experience from start to finish! Because of my amazing service, I had to go back to them to get my front windshield repaired as the crack was expanding. Jim, the owner, is incredibly professional and does not push any services on you that you don't need. He fit me in for an appointment on the same day and had me out in the amount of time he promised. He does great work and I have not had any issues with my back windshield at all since the replacement last year. In addition, I told him I was heading off to school and will be driving my car about 16 hours to my destination and he took a quick peek at the other parts of my car to make sure I didn't need any other services. This guy can do glass work fine so i went back to him for bigger work. It was worst experience ive ever had in my whole life. to make it short he charged me 5000 to total my car. i drove it in to get preventive work done he took it apart did work but his guy couldnt put engine back together perfectly, apparently 2012 jeep is hard ening to work on. my car never drove again. had to towed off lot! i drove it there picked up in tow truck two months later for 5000$. hr made me take down bad review to get my car towed off lot. He never apologized or acted like it was his wrong he just talked smooth and showed me how he would get me new engine for low cost! this man almost ruined my life i spent all my money at time to break my car didnt have car for 3 years after. i have never been around a less kind but nicer talking person. this man deserves to starve. crime is one thing but being this horrible and ruining people's lives don't let this guy fix your windows. read more

They had the lowest prices of anyone. Plus they came to my work and finished in maybe 30 minutes SAME DAY. They give a cash discount as well if you want. I haven't put any water on it yet but I'll update if it does leak. However it looks awesome and they even installed my mirror and inspection sticker back on. Worst experience ever with a company! I bought a used Jeep that had the back hatch window broken. I called a local glass guy who came to my house 3 different times with the wrong glass. So I called Northwest Houston Auto Glass and told Jim (the owner) my situation. He said no problem he had the glass and for me to be at his shop at 830 the next morning and he would get it taken care of. We got to the shop and after about an hour and a half Jim came out and told me none of his glass fit. I showed him a pic of an aftermarket hardtop just like mine. He said he would check to see what he could come up with. Waited another 2+ hours and he finally came back and told me he found the exact glass for my jeep and it was $480. He said I could pay for it and he would order it and it would be here on Tuesday (3 days). I paid the $480 and headed home (1.5 hours away). He text me Tuesday and told me the glass was in, but they close at 6 and I needed to be there early enough for them to install the glass. So I called my boss and took off at 3pm. He called me a little while later to tell me it was the wrong glass and it wouldn't fit my jeep. He said he has found the right glass but it will cost me $120 more but that he wouldn't charge me to install because of all the mess ups. I told him I would have to think about it because now we are up to $600. I told him I would get back with him in Thursday. I text him on Thursday and he told me he had already ordered the glass and would call me that afternoon to get my payment info for the extra $120. He did and I paid. He tells me that it is on backorder and has no idea when it will be released. So I talked to my wife about it over the weekend and we decided that this all seemed strange and I need something now because we only have 2 vehicles and it rains nearly everyday in East Texas! I text him on Monday to just cancel that order because we have no idea when that glass will be available and it is tying up my $600 and I need something now. He text me back that he couldn't cancel because they had already charged him. He then told me if he canceled, the company be ordered it from would charge him and so be would have to charge me! I said I have never heard of someone charging to cancel an order that isn't even available yet! So, I called the people he ordered from and had them look up the order. The guy said they never charge to cancel an order and that they haven't even charged for the windshield yet because it's not even available yet. I told him what Jim told me and he said he was going to put me on hold and call Jim. He came back to the phone and told me he talked to Jim and told him they did not charge cancellation fees and he said Jim sounded mad that this guy had told me that. So then, I text Jim back and let him know I talked to them and they didn't charge for cancelling the order. Well Jim texts me back and tells me legally he doesn't have to refund me any of my money but he would refund me all bit 20% because all of a sudden that is his policy! I told him absolutely not!! I will not pay him 20% and that I wanted all of my money put back on my card! He said he wasn't going to argue with me, that was his policy and that is what he is willing to do. So I called my bank and told them what was happening. Within 15 min my bank had credited the $600 back to my account. So I told Jim that I would just let my bank handle it. He said okay. Well this morning (3 days later) he texts me and tells me he is putting the $480 ($600-20%) back on my card and I should see it posted soon and if I tried any kind of chargeback after I received that money then we would have a serious issue. I told him that I had already told him my bank was handling this and that they had already credited my account the full amount. I told him they would probably contact him directly to obtain the $600 they credited me. His response was " Ok I know how to handle this thanks"....and that's the last I've heard so far. My point with this post is that this has been a horrible experience, it's cost me time off of work and tied up my money for 2 weeks. He never spent a penny of his money, order the wrong window and then ordered the other window before I even gave him the okay to do so....all of this with my money. And now he has the audacity to demand 20%! Insane. I will never recommend this place to anyone. read more

My dad came here to get his windshield replaced. His car had a special rear-view mirror, which had cost more at the dealership, that could open and close his garage door and had other special features. When he got his car back, he noticed that they had replaced his rear-view mirror with a plain mirror. He immediately noticed it after picking it up, but when he went back to correct the mistake, they denied everything. He has had his car for over two years and knows exactly what his rear-view mirror looks like as well as what features it has, but they told him he was mistaken. Even though he has the original papers from his dealership showing what features were installed, the shop blatantly denied everything and tried to make him feel like he just didn't know what he was talking about. I know many people who worry about getting taken advantage of by car shops, and that is exactly what has happened to my dad at this shop. They lied, refused to take any responsibility, and kept all the money he paid. Maybe they thought they could get away with it because he has an accent, but we have lived in Texas for over 30 years, and have never had something like this happen anywhere we've taken our cars. My dad has worked as an engineer his entire life, so he also knows quite a bit about cars, especially about the ones he owns. There is not much more we can do at this point other than warn other people not to trust this shop with their vehicles. read more
