An office full of phenomenal people! They are the most caring and thorough practice we have ever been to. Dr. White met with us on multiple occasions to explain treatment plans when we had questions without hesitation, Melissa was very hands on, compassionate, and reassuring throughout the surgical scheduling process, and Dania was very helpful getting our orthodontic process set up. All staff we have encountered greet with professionalism and a smile. I just wish they took my insurance for the dental side of the house so we could see them for all the kids dental needs. Just amazing! Angie is one amazing woman! She literally made the visit feel like a princess adventure for my daughters. I have never seen such professionalism from a dentist facility like this one. I have been bringing my children to Pediatric Dental Specialists for four years. The staff is welcoming and pleasant. The environment is clean and there is a children's TV area with appropriate movies for the children while they wait. Dr. Pittman was highly recommended to me by my dentist of 36 years, Dr. James Spurgers. Truth be told: Dr. Pittman is amazing. My son had eight cavities on his first visit (because we let him eat chewy fruit snacks unaware of the damage it was doing to his teeth.) Dr. Pittman expertly filled the cavities and my son did not suffer one bit from what could have been a very traumatic experience. As a matter of fact, it ended up with a trip to the treasure chest and my son was delighted. The nautical environment is cute with a soothing fish tank filled with fish welcoming you in as you head to the back for cleanings, etc. The open environment is also brilliant as the kids are in their own chairs and can see the other kids. The dental hygienists are upbeat, professional, informative and pleasant. Your experience is complete as Karen checks you out with the same upbeat, friendly attitude that seems to be prevalent throughout the entire office. This place was AMAZING. The area is nice, the facility is clean, new, and welcoming. I noticed a "National Park/Wildlife" theme immediately. The bathroom was very clean and they even had extra diapers in there. I thought that was pretty thoughtful and accommodating, you never know when your little one may have an emergency or something. All of the workers were extremely friendly and professional. I feel that is very important considering your typical family has several options in regards to choosing a dentist. I highly recommend this location. We had Dr. Pittman and he was very kind and patient with our 16 month old. I cannot remember our dental assistant/hygienist's name but she was great as well. They even took a picture and printed it out for our daughter to have as a keep sake, for a Mom that like to document everything- that meant a lot to me. Thank you all for the terrific experience! From the moment we're greeted at the front desk, to all the wonderful people in between -- including Dr. Pittman -- and finally the checkout ladies, Pediatric Dental Specialists are the BEST!!!! We moved with them from Louetta location to Spring Steubner; but my boys' teeth are worth the drive!! We also go to orthodontist there!! Today, we had a special circumstance...Track Meet!!! Bus leaves at 2:50!!! Our Xrays, cleaning...etc...scheduled at 2:00... #momschedulingcrisis. This review is for my experience with Dr. Massey ( my daughter also saw Dr. Pitman-he was nice). Around age 4, my daughter needed a crown in one of her pre-molars. She came home with horrible pain. The office staff said " oh we're sorry we forgot to tell you to give her Motrin before the procedure." A few days later she still had pain and swelling, we brought her back to see Dr. Massey- she said the crown was infected. She told me my daughter needed her pre-molar removed completely and she'll have to wear a spacer for 6 yrs. I told her I just wanted the crown removed and give her antibiotics and see what happens instead of jumping into extracting any teeth that looks suspicious. ( i work in the medical field.) Long story short, she couldn't remove the infected crown that she placed on my daughter because my daughter was anxious and the Dentist became inpatient with her. She gave up - said my daughter needs to be more sedated or strapped down - 4 point restraint in order to work. She refused to talk to me, asked her staff to give me another pediatric dentist's #. She basically gave up on her patient- never called to follow up to see how my poor 4 yr daughter is doing. They charged us a total of close to $1000 for the medication with the first procedure and the second procedure that she failed to complete. Btw- This is with dental insurance! Update- my daughter is 7 yrs old. I never allowed any dentist to extract that tooth. We got antibiotics from another dentist and that tooth is doing well 3 yrs later. Avoid Dr. Massey if u can. She seems sweet at first impression but wait until u have a problem... read more

Staff and Dr. Pittman and so very patient and incredible. I am so glad that they are so close to our neighborhood. They took the process very slow for my son's first visit. They let him get comfortable with being there and having people look at his teeth. He had fun and enjoyed being there. Got chocolate toothpaste?! Dr. Massey is awesome. Their whole process eases small children into dental care so they aren't afraid. My son started going when he was 4, and he actually looks forward to dentist appointments. They have a nice waiting room with a play area, which we've never used because we've always been seen immediately. The dentist and assistant take their time and don't rush the kids, and they seem to genuinely like working with kids, so they make the experience fun and relaxing. They have a fish tank at the checkout desk, which makes for a great distraction while making the next appointment and checking out. Our experience with Dr. Pittman and the team was outstanding! Our son had three cavities, and two had progressed to a state in which he needed sedation to have them fixed. Dr Pittman recommended a treatment plan that was cost effective for our family in this specific season we are in, that fully remedied his cavities and prevented further damage. Not only did the staff go above and beyond to add us to the schedule quickly, but during the procedure they made us feel safe and comfortable. Very rude and emotionally abusive treatment towards my granddaughter. Took her to this dental office from the time she was ten till she was 13. Them my husband left and drained every penny of every account. As I am raising 3 grandchildren, and even though I work full time, I had to place the children on Medicaid for health and dental services. When that happened. I was told by this office that my grandchildren could not longer come to this office, that I would have to go to their Medicaid office an hour away, so I did so. Early this year, I got a call from the original Louetta office saying that my ex husband had contacted them and told them he would pay for braces that my 13 year old granddaughter needs (Medicaid doesn't cover braces). We were suddenly welcome back into this office. I explained to Stephanie that my ex husband had been cruel and abusive to the children in the recent past, that he often raised their hopes and dreams to intentionally crush them at the last minute. I requested that this office make certain and obtain payment up front before I bright My granddaughter in for the several appointments they wanted to schedule. Stephanie assured me that she was CERTAIN that my husband was going to pay for the braces as she had several conversations with him. So, I took my granddaughter in for several appointments, had molds made of her bite and my granddaughter was so happy and excited to believe she would get the braces she needed. Two weeks ago, when it came time to commit and pay for the braces, I was told by Stephanie that my ex had not been able to be reached by their office. As there was no way I could pay for the braces, this little girls heart was crushed. Despite my warnings to Stephanie about my ex, she risked my granddaughters emotional well being our of this offices quest for GREED. This office discriminates against MEDICAID children. Today was my 3 year old daughters first time visiting the dentist. I was extremely worried about how she would respond since she is very shy and does not open up easily to new faces. As soon as we entered the office we were greeted by the front receptionist. While waiting to be seen, my daughter played in the kids area and enjoyed herself. We were taken to the back by the dental assistant and she really made my daughter come out of her shell. I was relieved when my daughter allowed the dental assistant to check her teeth. I was worried she wouldn't be so cooperative with Dr. Pittman but she was. He was really nice and offered really great advise. Since my daughter was daugter was doing so well the doctor decided to do a cleaning . The dental hygienist was awesome. She made my daughter feel comfortable with the tool used for cleaning and we were done. Our visit couldn't have been any better and I highly recommend this office to anyone...Also,my daughter received a bag with goodies and toy prizes ! She loved it . read more

Amazing!!!! I'm exceptionally impressed with the way my 2 yr old was welcomed. This was his first dental visit and he is very standoffish to strangers, so I was worried that he wouldn't cooperate. The dentist assistant gave him is own tool to practice on the stuffed animal (with teeth), then she checked his teeth, and he loved!! Dr. Pitman was so nice and didn't force anything or make it uncomfortable. Everyone was very friendly and I would 100% recommend this office. He even received a 1st dental visit certificate with a picture of him and the Doctor on it. So precious!! read more

All that was done was to put the retainer in my mouth. When I told the doctor that the retainer fell out in my sleep, the doctor responded "Are you sure that you didn't take it out?" Really. I just said that it fell out. Was the hint that I was not telling the truth? read more
