It's actually cheaper to shop Aldi on Instacart and get it delivered to the house than go to Publix. And RIP Kroger. Meats are just better and often cheaper here. Bakery's fantastic. Sushilicious! lol Don't even ask me about the rotisserie chicken. Worlds better. You don't want that Pubix pigeon. Jyeah, you could totally upgrade yourself into bankruptcy shopping interesting and unusual things but you don't have to. Stick to the script and you'll be better off for it. I'm still relishing the delicious filet, chops, those wildly giant asparagus and lobster we've bought here over the last many months.

Employees were not friendly, and checkouts you have no way to know who was open, their checkout space is narrow . I have a detailed list of what i needed for our daycare, i was only able to buy 3 items on that list. What do families buy here that have children??Ended up going back and finishing up my shopping list elsewhere. The parking lot can get a little hectic, especially during busy hours, but once I got inside everything moved quickly. The service was fast and I really appreciated that everything is fried fresh to order, you can taste the difference. I got the wings and shrimp combo and added hush puppies. The wing batter was amazing: not greasy, perfectly seasoned, and honestly better than Popeyes or even KFC. A lot of places give you more batter than chicken, but here the chicken was moist and a good portion. The hush puppies were also surprisingly moist and flavorful, some of the best I've had since they're usually dry elsewhere. My find and I split the order and since we eat small portion we think that was a good portion for us and also had leftovers. Everything was so good I didn't even need sauce, and I'm a sauce girl through and through. Overall, great experience and I'd definitely come back when I'm craving something fresh, crispy, and satisfying.

I ordered grilled shrimp, collards and coleslaw. The shrimp were warm, the collards were hot. There were 2 hush puppies as well. My sister ordered fish with mashed sweet potatoes and cheese grits. She ate the sides but not much of the fish . The service was not as good as you would expect when the restaurant was so slow. My sister comes here a lot and said it was not as good as usual. I actually knew right away what I wanted which was fried shrimp. It took another 10 minutes to get my water. She put three lemons in my water, and I never order lemons at restaurants because they are known not to be very clean. Meanwhile, they gave the other tables their drinks first. After the server brought my food, she never came back to check on me. I wanted some butter for my grits, but she didn't check on anything. She made sure she checked on the other tables next to me. Later, she brought the check, and I noticed it had a service fee on it (3.9%). Really?! Stop playin'. I inquired what that was and she said if you pay with a card they charge that fee. They assumed I was going to pay with a card and it had no cash option listed. I deducted the fee and provided cash for the meal and ended up still tipping 29% when she was in a terrible server. When she came back to get the check with my cash, she asked if I needed change back. I wish servers would stop asking this and just bring the change back and obviously if the customer is gone, the money is meant for them, or if they want to leave some cash, they will. The intention was to give all of the change to her, but it is in poor taste to ask people this. At this point I just wanted to get out of there because I did not feel very welcomed. I came in this restaurant once before, and nobody would seat me, and I walked out, but a coworker ordered food from here yesterday, and I figured I would give them another chance. Then the server took my receipt and crumbled it up and put it in her pocket. So now I have no record that I had even eaten there except for the plate of food that I ordered (see photo). I should've taken a picture of it. This seems a little shady to me. Additionally, I don't appreciate having a service fee without being advised of it before my check is brought to me, or actually before I even order. I won't go back here. I ordered fried shrimp, cheese, grits, and lima beans. The meal was $9.50 pre-tax. The service is terrible. There were other servers walking by my table when I was sitting there ignored when I was first seated. Who wants to sit in a restaurant with nothing to drink for 20 minutes? I really was thinking of getting up and walking out since nobody could even come and greet me and take a drink order. The food is subpar as well. I'll pass on this place, for the lack of customer service.

The wings were flavorful, well-seasoned, and hit the spot, and the fries were crispy and satisfying,simple but solid. That said, when my friends' seafood boils came out, wow. The smell alone was incredible rich, buttery, and seasoned perfectly. I couldn't resist trying a few bites, and I'm glad I did. The potatoes and broccoli were especially good, soaking up all that seasoning, and the seafood itself tasted fresh and well-cooked. You could tell this is really where they shine. The portions were generous, the food came out hot, and it's definitely a fun, casual spot to go with friends. The atmosphere feels laid-back and social, which makes it great for group dinners. While my non-seafood order was good, seeing (and tasting) the boils made me want to come back and try a full seafood meal next time.
