Because our tour didn't start till the afternoon, we decided to board our dogs at Kori's overnight instead of using the day care. They were very accommodating with food, bowls and bedding. They were only open the next day at 6am or 2 for pickup of the dogs, which made it hard to plan around. I made a call to them around 1 and explained I had made reservations for lunch with my family. They were very understanding and allowed me to pick them up early, which I greatly appreciated. The dogs seemed happy and well cared for. I will keep Kori's on my list to use again.

She loves it-I so appreciate feeling confident that she's in good hands, is well cared for and she's gonna come home exhausted from playing with the dogs and humans :) We've boarded her for short stays and also for stays over 2 weeks--since she doesnt have an 'off' switch for play (lab retriever-will play till she drops)--we got a call on one of the longer boarding stints to let us know they'd noticed she was dropping weight and asking if we'd let them increase her food at meals--which we did and were very grateful for the call. Each employee seems to genuinely love animals. I just read a review about a dog coming away with kennel cough--I would be bummed too, but, unfortunately---thats part of the risk of letting our dogs around each other/playing together. (I'd heard that kennel cough was going around on Whidbey Island). In this type of group play environment-unfortunately, it can happen. (Just like getting a cold for a human-I wouldnt blame the daycare or expect them to pay the doctor visit cost for that....though I would hope that if it were noticed that a dog was sick-they'd be isolated and owner called--which I believe is the policy at Kori's Muttley Crew). I talked with my vet, and he said its better to have a doggie day care/boarding facility thats indoor/outdoor--for better air quality and less likely to get sick--like Kori's has. For us, the risk for getting sick is worth it in order to get to group play and group sleep/snuggle the way they do here, due to the outgoing/people loving personality of our pup---she just would not do well at the other kennels where she would be isolated & anxious in a kennel run for most of the day/night. We are thankful for the military discount, and this place is 5star for socialized doggos.

Recently, my littlest cat was acting very weird and stopped eating over a period of a few days. I thought it might be because of the heat wave we were having at the time, but when she got increasingly lethargic and started hiding, I got worried and called Chuckanut Valley. They got us right in! After quite a bit of poking and prodding, not to mention a full panel of tests, it was determined that my cat was likely just hot. It was a pretty expensive diagnosis, but I was relieved it wasn't something worse. The doctors and staff here are always so loving and kind. And while their prices are definitely premium (aren't all vets?) I do appreciate they have prescription meds on hand when I need them for my pets, and offer discounts if you offer full diagnostic panels. I am so happy to have found them!

I took her back and they said "correlation does not imply causation". It was all CYA. " not our problem ". The vet says he'll be right back. He goes out for 10+ minutes. I go to see what's going on. He was typing. My guess is that he is adjusting the report on the procedure. Ultimately my dog died. I'll never go back. And suggest the same for you.

So I just had to do a review about how amazing their customer service is…read more I have not done a grooming service yet-scheduled but I did have a nail trimming. I have a 7month old Lab puppy, she is a wiggly monster. They were able to trim her nails in 5 min. They didn't shame me or make me feel bad that my puppy is a puppy. I couldn't wait to schedule an appointment-you can tell everyone there will care for your dog. They talked to Luna and I don't even think she barked because the attention they gave her- fabulous service! Oh and for a nail trim they let me do a walk in! I had been struggling trying to trim myself and her nails were getting knarly so they saved me!

I asked again what a cat neuter would cost without all the extras and I got some horrible attitude. She said she had worked there for 13 years, she was yelling at me at this point, and I remembered why I had stopped visiting this clinic a few years ago, it's office staff. Clearly this clinic is not going to change and upgrade its customer service skills. When I bring my pet in, I'm also your client. Personally, I cannot get past the office staff attitude. I thought giving them a few years to learn and improve might help, but the bottom line is the money line, and I will take my money elsewhere.

Best feeling ever: just called Huck, my 18mo fox hound rescue, off a full on deer chase with a…read moresimple "Come! No. Huck Come!" And stood there amazed as he CHOSE to veer off in a long arc toward me, coming in full tilt to a sit. I am still sort of in shock that he gave me priority. When I called he was 40 yards away from me and within four car lengths of the deer and he is a focused high drive dog. Thank you to our trainer Greg Houle. Never in my wildest dreams did I think he would stop chasing a deer that he had an excellent chance of catching and come to me because I asked him to. I am so grateful for In The Flow K-9 training, that he came, yes, but the WAY he came to me, eyes shining, leaving what was probably his heart's desire, full of happiness that I had called. He was 100% into the next thing that we were going to do togethe r, focused and looking up at me for direction. Making that bond between you and your dog the "something big", the "pay off" for your work, is what Greg's teaching is all about from the very first minute. I am 70 years old. I have had many dogs and used many methods to get to where I thought I wanted to be with them. This method is like the place where all the paths meet....like the pearl in the oyster.Over the last two years I have watched Greg guide little kids, teens, adults, seniors, into better relationship with their canine companions. He just kind of walks into the mess you've made with each other and tidys up the room! Everyone feels better. Everyone does better. Then, if you want to stick around, he can show you how he did it! We had one dog that was full grown and well-behaved when we got him. So we ruined that. He was…read moremedium-sized and kind-hearted so we managed. Then we rescued another full grown dog who wasn't small. She was wild and required a team just to walk her. We have been working with Greg and both dogs on and off since November. We aren't terrible consistent, but we do try. People have been stopping and applauding us for the noticeable changes in both dogs' behavior. I have actually had some success walking both dogs together. Life at home is much less frazzled, although there's still plenty to work on. What I really like about this training is that Greg is practical. The training is to the point. It's really sensible. Greg understands that people are busy, that some dogs have structure and other dogs have toys. He adjusts and supports as needed. Greg has a diverse background with a biology degree and has worked a broad spectrum of jobs. He takes his career seriously and gets things done pleasantly, timely, and correctly.
