We stopped by last weekend when in town for a couple days. We happened by this food truck park, and without any particular craving, I chose NWS cuz hey, you can't go wrong with chicken right? Well we were very glad with the selection. I chose a 3 strip meal with fries and a chicken sandwich with fries, no sauces, just plain. In a nutshell, even though the customer service wasn't overly friendly, the chicken more than made up for it. Both my hubby and I felt like it was the best chicken we'd had in a long time. The cook was perfect, chicken juicy and tender. The breading wasn't thick, quite thin actually, and full of flavor. No sauces needed, we just enjoyed the chicken...and I'm generally a major dipping saucer. Add to the wonderful chicken some hand cut fries, cooked well (although I like mine a bit crunchier). I highly recommend this truck for anyone in the mood for some good old-fashioned fried chicken. Two thumbs up! read more

We haven't had these wings since they've been in a food truck. Rest east y'all they're still great! Get over here and try them. They had great service and location isn't as cool of a vibe as the food truck stuff but it's totally still worth it. It's more like a sports bar. TVs on the wall playing football! I went with Northwest Wing Shop for lunch because the other nearby food karts had long lines but they did not. In retrospect that should have been a clue. My biggest issue wasn't the food itself but their outrageous prices. The chicken sandwich came with fries and was $12, which seemed like a decent deal compared to the wings. I asked the employee if the sandwich was good and he seemed skeptical. Odd, since they only had like five things on the menu but oh well. I guess I'll get the wings. I ordered ten wings which was $15.85. I asked if I could get half boneless and half bone in, but was told I'd have to order two sets of five, which would have been almost $20. No thanks. It would have been nice to have some fries or something as a side but a small order of fries was $6. The wings themselves were decent. I got half with medium sauce, which was pretty standard, and half with garlic Parmesan, which was my favorite of the two. They were fresh out of the fryer and had a nice crunch, although the wings themselves were pretty small. $15.85 later I was still hungry and pretty disappointed. The food was good but they don't give customers any value. I really think if they cut their prices by a few bucks and/or made better meal options they'd get more customers. Ordered 5 bone-in wings, 5 boneless, and fries. The bone-in wings were OK, but the boneless wings were bad. Just diced, fried chicken breast that lacked flavor. Ranch was watery and the fries tasted like they were cooked in sunscreen. The service was good and quick, no complaints there, but the food was just sub-par. Its a food truck but bests wings I had since moving to this area. Got the 50 wings selection. Went with the lemon pepper (25) and teriyaki (25) for a little gathering Sunday for some football watching. Great taste w/o the messy sauce ... Crispy just the way I like. Also of note the hours listed here of this posting shows they open 1pm sat .. But he said. He opens 3pm ... I initially went sat but since it was closed I got pizza instead .. As I stood in line (about 8 people back from the window )waiting to order my 5 piece wing at the munch and music festival today, I kept wondering if it would be worth the 20 minute line and then the ten minute wait after ordering. The answer , as I found out, is sadly, NO! That doesn't mean the wings weren't tasty or that I didn't enjoy them. It just means they aren't special enough to bother waiting for. These wings are pretty unremarkable. Small ,basic ,fried wings with pretty forgettable sauce. Ordered 20 wings, fire cracker shrimp and fresh cut fries. Fries were good ! But unfortunately it stops there. First the shrimp are almost as small as salad shrimp and weren't fresh at all while just placed on a bed of shredded lettuce flavor was ok but super small for the $12. Next the worst part was the sad wings super small sections that were overdone and certainly not worth half what we paid. Total bill was $40 and I would have been disappointed at half that. read more

Best wings in town! Not breaded but crispy non the less! My son ordered teriyaki and loved them. I got the bang bang shrimp and they were good. My son also loved them lol. We also ordered the cauliflower. I wasn't a fan of the batter but understand to have them crunchy against the sauce it's necessary. I have more meat on my fingers than I did the wings we got. I could have just gotten an unlucky batch. They tasted fine and were well done, tons of fries, but for a restaurant that focuses on wings, you'll get more meat in a child's meal McNugget. The wings were good, the fries were bad. Way too greasy. The service was awful, they were out of most of the menu except wings and fries. If they are busy be prepared to wait easily 30min or more for your food. If you call ahead don't expect to get your food any faster. DELICIOUS! My husband is from Boston & these wings not only satisfied his wing craving from back home but I'm a picky eater and I loved them too. The teriyaki are my favorite & we ordered the cauliflower naked & it was a delicious side. Moved to Bend about 6 months ago and the food scene is big here. Lots of local places. Very competitive food market. I Love this place! Wings are big and meaty. They will cook as you like... Crispy is awesome. Just the perfect amount of crispy skin and sauce. These are not your regular wings like a lot of places. The actual chicken is very high quality with more meat than most wing places. If you like really good, meaty wings prepared with attention to details I highly recommend you give them a try!
