Went 08/20/2025 with my best friend to get piercings (nose and tragus). Kayla accepted us pretty late at night (10pm) and explained EVERYTHING to us before. during and after the piercings. Kayla was our piercer and she is the sweetest soul. She is extremely sanitized, walked us through everything and even had chill conversations with us about anything and everything. I walked in to get a septum piercing on a Saturday evening. It wasn't busy, there was only one other person and me. You do have to ring a doorbell to get in but I didn't wait too long. The girl who opened the door was the one who did the piercing on me. She was the sweetest. She walked me through the whole thing, I told her that I had a septum piercing previously but I let it close and she warned me that the second time might be more painful. She explained the aftercare perfectly and took her time to make sure it was centered right, especially since my nostrils are small. Just everything about my experience was great. I honestly don't know how i feel about this place, i've gotten a couple pieces done here and the work is good but its so hard to talk to someone. They won't take inquires through facebook or have a contact email or SOMETHING. The place is locked when its open so you have to ring the doorbell, I waited a good 5 minutes for them to open the door with an older man behind the counter looking directly at me, for no one to open the door. So I gave up and went home. I was planning on discussing a couple options to finish off my sleeve but its clear they don't need my business. First Friday the 13th flash tattoo experience and it was pretty awesome. Andy was the artist who did all the artwork that day and I'm really satisfied with my new tat! I didn't realize how close this place was to my house so that already was convenient. What I really appreciated was that there were about 7 pages to choose from and what's extra neat is 4 out of 5 artists here are women! Yay, represent! All of the artists had different varieties and I'm more of a fan of minimalistic/line style and they had at least 30-40 to choose from. All in all for flash, there was probably 200 or even more designs to choose from! I put my name down around 2 pm ish and got seated around 9:30 pm. I did a lot of errands in between. It's crucial that you're back in time tho for your number. For $20, cant complain! read more

Two of my closest friends and I walked in to Norwalk tattoo to make an appointment for another date so we could get matching friendship tattoos but once in the shop we got to talking to Andy and Kim and found out they had openings right then so we got our tattoos that night! The shop it's self it very clean, brightly lit, had good music, and lots of great art/flashes on the walls. It's very welcoming over all:) What puts this shop over the top is the employees! Kim checked us in and got everything prepped for our tattoos. She's super awesome and an amazing artist! Watching her draw made the time fly by so fast! Then there is Andy! Andy did all of our tattoos! Andy is super friendly and very talented! He was able to capture exactly what we wanted and knocked our tattoos out really quickly. I'm so happy with the results! I have had almost all my work done here! The shop is clean, the artist are beyond friendly, professional in their work and are willing to accommodate my picky ass. Lol I have had work done by all artist there. From Friday the 13th small pieces to larger pieces. Remember you get what you pay for, you can go to your homeboys house and get a shit tattoo, for $100 that will probably end up infected, or you can go to a professional clean environment. I'm reading some of these reviews and most want to complain about the price or the way they were treated. I have spent a ton of time at that shop and not once have a seen them treat someone rudely. My husband had gone to get a skull tattoo and had a picture of what he wanted. When we walked In there was only one person in front and every time we asked a question she had to go into a room to ask someone about it. They take your money first before they are even willing to show you what they sketched. I would not recommend them doing anyone's tattoos if it consists of shading or detail oriented tattoos. I am attaching pictures of what it should have looked like and what was the final outcome. My husband said it was ok but not even close to what he showed them. My friend and I decided we wanted matching tattoos so we called and they said they do walk ins. The place is very clean and well staffed although, for a quarter size tattoo it was $80 and done subpar. The artists was still very friendly but know this place can be over priced. Along with this, we came in at 8 pm and got an appointment time for 11:30 pm. That was fine but we did not get actually tattooed until 1-1:30 am. They don't offer chairs so standing there for two hours watching the poor apprentice clean for an hour as well was draining. I would not go back again even though they were nice. They just aren't organized well and need to get prioritized. read more

He really takes his time with his work and when he starts a Tatooe he makes sure he does his best work from start to finish I had two sessions with him and I am blown away he does not rush and really makes you feel important. The receptionist was very kind and welcoming; she even helped me decide on a tattoo and it's placement. Since I was 18 I have gone to Norwalk tattoo and have been happy with the service up until today April 25th at 5:40 pm when me and my friend who also has been to your tattoo shop in the past and have been real upset with the costumer service today! Thinking we can just get a simple (for life) tatto on our middle fingers something super simple, once we walked in we were greated by a very short rude man/boy who from the beginning was rude and had a rude approach from the start... we told him what we wanted and showed a picture and he knocked the idea off the bat telling us the cons only of the tattoo...understandable that the tattoo would faded.. kinda mad because the artist shouldn't knock someone's ideas tattoos mean more then just a tattoo.. willing to spend whatever it cost to get it we wanted it... but still he kept pushing the issue it was a bad idea then asked him how much he said 100$ .. Not bad still wanted it but asked why 100$ he stated it was " A job stopper" still super negative I told him I have finger tattoo and just got a promotion so how is that a job stopper.. he stated "good for u" with his tiny little thumps... giving me a thumps up ....at that point we were over it he apparently was busy with something ... how can you be so rude when you had no costumers it looked like a ghost town ...why wouldnt they want to give good service and (MAKE MONEY) so we googled a new tattoo shop in ARTESIA/Fullerton ....so we will see how that goes my first tattoo not at the shop I've been going to for years how sad ... so thanks alot we will take our money elsewhere..you guys (OWNERS) should be aware your money that is being loss... im sure this isn't the first time he was rude and short with his answers and service. My Family has used Norwalk tattoo for generations before me and we always been loyal to them for our work and brought many friends and referrals. always good artists and real cool tattoo people some on a mutual first name basis and guaranteed their work For touch ups Even when I had my knuckles done . I had a memorial tattoo top left hand from ASHES TO INK that incorporated my murdered sons ashes. came out great no touch ups needed although the artist guaranteed his work as a professional. Got my right hand done at Norwalk as a walk in like usual and it's all changed. New owners maybe don't know . But first off a young apprentice kid not even an artist addressing me very blunt and matter of fact like he owned the place talking to a man old enough to be his father no joking/ smiling just questions and rules felt a little disrespectful but blew it off as a kid that hasn't learned any better and I'm to tired to be teaching them at my age. Also new rules no filming your work in progress. So I get my work done by a young lady there . . good design good outline but after healing the solid black fill needs touch up. So I call the shop and she wasn't there and I'm talking to the kid again and explain. He immediately starts telling me il be charged for touch up because the location and people working with their hands . I explained that I'm disabled and not working and the left hand I was working and still didn't require touch up simply a seasoned talented artist. So I'm getting tired of this kids voice and attitude so I said give her my number so I can see what kind of price she would be talking for fixi Her work. Never even got a call back. Disappointing a Norwalk vintage business and go to community tradition change and gone forever heartbreaking I honestly think they should have changed the name. Needless to say me/my family/friends will no longer patronize or refer anyone but exactly the opposite we will give a red light and refer a better friendlier more professional shop with artists who are better skilled and not afraid to guarantee their work to the contrary would be ashamed to claim any sub par work. Came for the Friday the 13th tattoo deal... have been here since 9:30pm it is now 3:41am... and we stepped out for 10 fucking minutes to get something to eat because we've been here for almost 5 fucking hours. Walked back in from getting jack in the box, literally 15 mins later and they wouldn't take us. They were calling numbers, they were on 119 when we left and we were numbers 148 and 150. They wouldn't fucking take us. It took them 1hr to call 101-119. Literally everyone in the shop was before us and when we walked back in THE SAME PEOPLE WERE STILL SITTING AROUND. They had just given the paperwork to the guy who was right before us!!!!!!! Such bullshit. I waited around, got a sitter, all for nothing. I love tattoos, have a sleeve done already, and I plan on getting so much more. This place is literally 2 mins from me and it could've been a place where I spent my money. I'll never be back. So fucked up. I understand the artist are tired, set a fucking time limit. Set a maximum number like the rest of the shops did. I even asked that since they wouldn't take me today after 5 hours of standing in their shop if they could take me Sunday because I couldn't come tomorrow (Saturday) where they had another sign up sheet. So came back from the bank, he filled out the paperwork took the money. We got back around 6:30 and took home 45 mins just to set up get the picture. Some girl came in and he started taking to her and acting like nothing was going on.! So finally he went to the back to draw up what I gave him. His apprentice came back with food, rather then him coming out to say hey guys imma eat real quick he sits back there makes us wait another 20 mins so he come out at like 8:15 and now I'm pissed off! Tell the dude hey we are not going to go forward with it. He was RUDE!!! And acting like he was too good he was like I thought food would of gave it away like no dude I can't read minds it's called have manners don't be a dick! So he didn't want to give his name and I finally found out his name was Andy!!! I will never go back to this place or back to this rude ass guy. This place has to be the worst tattoo studio I have ever been to. I love tattoos and don't mind paying more for better quality and work . However, not even 2 weeks after getting my tattoo done by Andres E Dimas the ink did not take . This is not my first tattoo and I do understand every tattoo is different and the skin reacts different depending on the placement . I'm very upset on how my tattoo came out . Half of the tattoo is faded the other half is okay . Horrible job on the lining . Very messy and disappointing. When I went back to show him the work he didn't even offer to fix it . He tried to charge me more then the tattoo originally cost . Original price was 80$. He said " I will charge you about 80-100$ depending on how much of a touch up you want ." Ridiculous! Basically getting another tattoo. I will not be coming back to this place ever again . I wouldn't recommend this studio to anybody ! You will be wasting your money and time . read more
