Victor was the one that designed my sleeve and did an awesome job ! Great experience I had here . I told him what I wanted and I that's what I got . Really professional he is . This place is not that bad at all . Just make sure you set up an appointment with the tattoo artist. That way every thing goes gravy ;D. There's no children allowed. NO EXEMPTIONS! I have several tattoo's done by several artists and parlors. This by far is a parlor that is severely lacking... Went in on a Friday for probably the smallest tattoo you can get a fingerstache... I agree with claudia r. because i was tattooed by the blonde chick too, she wasn't very friendly... She was more interested in talking to her friend that was there that night than to me, which is fine, i guess..but kinda rude... I dunno, every place I have ever been to, the artists usually have friends there, but it's not like I'm invisible and not sitting right next to you, as it was in this case..but whatevs... was charged $60 for a fingerstache...something that was hand-drawn onto my finger and took 10-minutes... My bottom-line opinion, you are a tattoo parlor, people are putting permanent ink on them, you NEED to make them feel comfortable, talk to them, etc...it's Customer Service, and you are LACKING! On the plus side, the shop is clean and decorated like a regular tattoo shop. It is CASH ONLY, they DO NOT ACCEPT CARDS so bring cash or plan on heading to the Wellsfargo across the street... read more

The people in there are so unbelievably rude and disconnected it's surprising they make enough money to stay in business. She was already hella tired by the time I got there and I am reading other people's negative reviews and all I'm thinking is that this isn't a spa, it's a fucking tattoo shop! "First come first serve" "while supplies last", obviously it's going to be hella crazy, like all shops! 2pm-2am and staying until 5am to accommodate as much as these TIRED, HUNGRY, THIRSTY, etc.... All to do a shit ton of work for some $20 tattoos. Sure they were taking awhile... But tattooing for HOURS, I'd want them to take their sweet ass time as well. Like please stay focused on your present customer! And thank you for doing so! Assess the line and Don't just pack money in your pockets, pack some snacks friends! But don't eat or drink them inside. The place does look clean and all but the people working there seem like they don't even wanna be there. I took my mom to get a tattoo done here and no one was really talking to anyone, it was quiet and kind of awkward. And while my mom was actually getting work done on her, I was gonna take a picture of her and apparently pictures aren't allowed. What kind of bullshit is that? As cliche as it sounds, I definitely wouldn't give them any stars. The service was ridiculous. From the way the artists speak to each other to the way they speak to their clients. I was here for a Friday the 13th tattoo and ended up leaving with nothing after waiting over 3 hours. I have a tattoo shop that I've sworn by for years, but I decided to stop by here because it's close to my bfs house. Biggest mistake ever. They're having a "sale" and only have 1 artist working at a time. Andres or whatever, was flustered and told a client "I don't know what gave you the idea that i would work on you today if you see I've been tattooing since 12 and you haven't even been here that long". At that point, even after waiting 3 hours to get work done, i asked for a refund. DO NOT EVER let an aggravated and frustrated artist work on you. Specially if they're that rude. Needless to say, i'm never coming back here again. Too rude, too pricey for the area, and too slow. I go to a high end shop on Melrose in Hollywood and they dont even charge as much as this place. And their work is better. My advice? Don't come here. read more

I got my first tat here. My best friend has been coming here for years. She and I went in for work. Vince did both of our tats. I was happy when he knew what I was getting tattooed. He said he had done a few semi colon tats recently and he knew what project semicolon was. He was really funny and helped me relax. He made me comfortable and I really love my tat. read more

When I called they told me there were open till midnight. Showed up just before 10:30pm doors were closed but people were still inside. I called to ask if they were open then they say they closed early and recommended walk ins to come in before 10pm. Just got my first tattoo done tonight. It's a Tuesday night, walked in at 11:20. I knew what I wanted so it was an easier process. Pricing wise I thought it was a deal! I would put zero stars if I could. I came here to match my boyfriends tattoo that he had got here previously. I really didn't like the feel like going to this place since it looked sketchy but my boyfriend thought it was a good deal. So when I asked how much it would be the artist came back and said it would be 150. I told him why was it more expensive for me than my boyfriend who paid 120. He laughed and said "oh that was a PRACTICE GIRL" and laughed more. That unprofessional attitude made me angry. My boyfriend didn't know this tattoo artist was just practicing on him and now this shop treats like it's a joke. The coloring was off and the tattoo always looked weird to me and now to confirm that it was just a girl who didn't have any real training is bullshit. Fucking shitty that you don't disclose that you put a shitty artist that was practicing. i went in there to get a tattoo done by someone named nick a while back and i completely forgot to come on here and write about my experience and it went horrible. hes totally rude and heavy handed and thought he knew it all. My tattoo ended up getting hella infected and the ink blew out and someone of it peeled off. i called the shop and i believe he answered the phone. i told him about my tattoo and he said theres nothing he can do about it that i can just go someone else if i dont like how he tattoos. this shop is gross af and smells like weed and everyone was high out of their minds. never will i go there again. read more

Worst tattoo shop I've ever visited. And yes, they take advantage of people in more ways than one. Pineapple, as he calls himself has got to be severly unhappy and bitter to come off the way he does. While we sat and waiting for him to to finish a customer, he scolds the assistants in shop by telling them to get their heads out of their a**. Yes, out loud and in front of us. I was so embarrassed for the guy working there and the feel in the place was tense. As if Pineapple was in a bad mood and didnt want to work . Anyway, this man has no courtesy, tact, or even the slighted professionalism for the services he provides. Moving on....When he was done he waddles over to us at the counter and shows us printed out internet copies of the designs he thought we were looking for. It wasnt what we wanted so he tweaked the picture as we gave ideas. 20 minutes later....he made suggestions that sounded good so he said he'd draw one up and let us know when it was complete. so we said ok great, when do we come back? Pineapple said, "come back with a deposit because I won't start the drawing until I get a deposit". And of course, not staying up to date with the times, they don't accept any cards. Must be cash. Very inconvenient!! So we go to a market near by, get cash back, and leave a deposit. He quoted the tattoo we wanted at $300.00. So we were supposed to come back on a Tuesday at 3pm to get the tattoo. Tuesday morning we call the shop because we were not going to be able to make the appt due to an unforseen emergency. He said just to come back on Thursday. When we called on Thursday morning to confirm time & price, he said fine but the price was still $300.00. He decided not to apply the $40 deposit toward the work because we didnt make the appt. I thought to myself, he doesnt give a s**t about his customers. He is no business man and is probably just doing tattoos because he's no good for anything else. Little did he know he was to recieve a large tip (I was thinking $60) for a job well done. I am a good tipper. So I decided to go someplace else. What worse is we were told he was going to hook us up because we had a friend in common. (Thats why we committed to the drawing) So in the end I decided not to give him the business. He's not the only tattoo shop around not to mention I'd rather pay a little more and be treated with respect & courtesy than to give that place my money. Went to a different shop and the experience was great. You're welcomed, they are friendly and look out for the cutomer. As a business professional myself, I would never allow my employees or even partners to treat workers or customers with such disregard. I have never in my life wrote a bad review about anything I didn't like. I just don't think its worth the trouble. But this place, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. read more

Very Clean! Friendly staff. Relaxing. After reading the other reviews I was apprehensive to go there. The tattoo that I wanted to get was small so I was embarrassed to inquire about it based on the other reviews. I was nervous as I entered. (like going to the Dentist). One of the guys behind the counter welcomed me as if I was at his house. Imediately I was relaxed and comfortable. As him and I talked I could see "the blonde" (Ariana) sitting at her station. I showed my design to him and he took it to "the blonde" to get a price. We agreed on a price and it was obvious that she was the one that was going to do it. I don't know how anyone could say anything bad about Ariana? (the blonde). She is proud of her work..as she should be. She is good. By the time she finished my tattoo..I felt like I had just stopped by my friends house to get a tattoo. Ariana has been an artist at Norwalk Tattoos for an impressive 13 years! Norwalk Tattoos has been in the same location since 1980. That says alot about the place. Ariana and everyone at this place are cool. They are real people.
