Googled a lot and found dicks selling it... found the nearest showroom.. location wise not the best, but was convenient to shop here.. service could be better.. and the stock for Mavericks merchandise could be better.. Couldn't find various sizes .. I did find a few T-shirts in my kids size.. wish they had a better inventory.. pricing was OK.. billing and checkout was quick. They had a lot of other merchandise and soccer World Cup T-shirt, T-shirts.. they were going for decent discounts because the World Cup was coming to close.. overall good experience, but I just wish they had more sizes in their stock.. read more

I wanted to give more stars because the young lady who helped me find the area I was looking for was so friendly, helpful, and professional. Unfortunately she was the highlight of my experience. Every other sales person I came across was so busy talking about the game the night before that they didn't acknowledge me when I walked up to them and I finally walked rather than pointing out such poor customer service. I was there to purchase a gift for a girl who made the cheer team. I was disappointed that the selection of items was ridiculously small. Evidently no one has told the marketing department about the amount of money cheerleaders spend. Even if cheer is not a major focus for them, I believe they could do better than so few items that would barely fill an aisle end cap. read more

I went to this Dicks in Dallas, it's the biggest Dick's Sporting goods I've been to. The selection is great. They have many of the cute women's clothing in larger sizes. I'm 5'7 with some junk in the trunk so small, medium and petite don't fit well. The service is great. They have a button near the fitting room to alert staff that you need help to get in there. Staff appeared within seconds to unlock the fitting room for me. Then I went over to the shoes and it's great that they can scan the shoe to let you know if they have that color in your size . I ended buying 2 outfits and a pair of all black Hokas for work. The value is good, they are a little cheaper than the official website that sells the shoes. Waited over an hour to try on a pair of shoes. They let only some people know that their system crashed and to request their shoes again. While I was waiting I noticed that people who had come long after me were getting their shoes before me. I finally just requested to take my name off the list where I was met with a rude response. I have visited this store about four times, and each time, it left a bitter taste in my mouth. First visit: It was hard to find any staff in the apparel section. At one point, an employee even saw me looking around for help, turned away, lowered her head, and continued folding clothes. Second visit: I came in 30 minutes before closing to look for gym clothes. After picking out a few items to try on, I was told by a Black female employee that they don't allow customers to try on clothes close to closing time. She said this in a very annoyed tone, so I walked away and asked a Latina employee to open a fitting room for me because I wasn't going to drive for 30 mins only not to be able to buy the things I need. She opened a fitting room for me and told me to be quick, and I was able to try on the items and make a purchase and I appreciate her, a lot! Human are not robot! Human should be flexible when it comes to things like these! If I wanted cold robotic experience I would have shopped at Amazon! Third visit: I tried to get a fitting room open, pressed the button, and saw two Latino employees chatting and flirting about 40 feet away instead of assisting. I stood there with my back to them, waiting to see if they would respond. After 30 seconds, they were still chatting, so I turned around, waved to get their attention, and signaled that I needed help. When one of them finally opened the fitting room, I said "thank you" but received no response. Okay. Then I had another encounter with previously mentioned black female employee, I asked her if there's certain size of a shirt that I'm holding, and she said " Everything we have is here on the rack, if you don't see it then we don't have it." She didn't even offer to double check the rack for me to see if I may have missed it or maybe it was on the wrong hanger. It was brutally cold customer service experience. I was seriously speechless. ( I didn't even realized it was the same employee until this very moment as I'm writing this review made the two dots connected!) Fourth visit: I came in looking for an item that the Dick's app showed as having "only one left." I couldn't find it and wandered around looking for assistance. I saw no employees on the floor except for a cashier who was on his phone, so I eventually left. I will be giving this feedback in the corporate survey as well. I came with my mother to this Dick's location to shop for shoes and clothes as the school year is approaching. We had a great experience finding the shoes thanks to BOBBY! He was incredibly energetic, helpful, and genuinely cared about making sure we found what we needed. Employees like him are rare! And here where things take a turn.... I didn't catch her name, but the cashier was a shorter, older white woman with a bob haircut. She kept interrupting me and pushing the store credit card even after I clearly said I wasn't interested. I understand it's her job to ask, but once a customer declines, it's frustrating to feel talked over and pressured. What bothered me more was her attitude. She came off irritated and annoyed and like she couldn't be bothered to treat us with basic courtesy. Honestly, she just seemed like an old grouch. It just sucks because it completely changed the feel of our experience. There no reason for her to have an attitude towards us in that way and I feel bad for anybody who has to work with that. read more

Though well marked are the different sections in this huge store, with scarceness of staff on floor, a maze it was this first time to find my way around. Great selection of merchandise packed tightly together. Competitive and matching online pricing. Efficient is the staff at their registers. "Wishin' and Hopin' and Thinkin' and Prayin'" I'll be here many times over for the remains of this 2020 with my favorite teams heading to the playoffs! CHEERS! read more

Will NOT provide refund to original form of payment(credit card) despite having receipt and returning within 90 day period. Bought Hoka shoes 6/17. Exchanged for different size 6/19. Came to return on 7/15 which is within a month of purchase. Staff member(Pamela) stated register will only give option to return on a gift card. I requested to have it returned to my credit card and they said they couldn't do it. Called customer service line and they stated the store should be able to return the funds from the gift card to the credit card. Store denied again. Called customer service again, they called the store and was told the register was not working as expected and only gave the option to return to gift card. I spoke with the manager (Derek I believe) and he did not help at all. Just repeated the same information and could not give reason as to why the register worked that way. I purchased a pair of Hoka running shoes from this location and two weeks later the soles of the shoes began to fall apart. When I brought my receipt in, they refused to give me a refund or an exchange. My family and I had such a great experience this past weekend at this location! I came in looking for a bike and was helped by Micheal which is exactly what made my experience great! He was so nice and Informative. I ended up going with the GT Laguna Pro which is an awesome bike! I love it! I bought Brooks running shoes in late May and have been having a issue with a place rubbing the left side of my foot and discovered there is a nailhead size lump inside the shoe...I took them back to Dick's to get a replacement...well of course they said they had them but didn't so I asked if they could just order them? SURE WE CAN! but we can only give you a store credit that you can not use on a online order...well can you just send to the store...yes but you can't use the store credit...all this just to get a defective shoe replaced...too many shopping options in Dallas to deal with this lunacy...I'll reach out to Brooks to see if they will stand by their products since Dick's won't. read more

CURBSIDE SHOPPING: I placed an online order for curbside pickup and all went well. I arrived, parked in the curbside, and checked in... nothing happened. I finally went in and there was a online order area... unstaffed and no employee in sight. I went to the adjacent in-store checkout area and asked a cashier... who pointed to the unstaffed online order area. I turned back to the cashier and, after a moment, he flagged down an employee who then came over and got the merchandise for me. If you no longer process curbside orders professionally - at the curb - then please stop offering the "service"! I was looking for some new shoes for work (I'm a nurse) and Jesus and Michael were so patient and kind during the HOURS I spent trying on shoes. Because of them and all their advice, I was able to make a great choice on some shoes I really love! It isn't all the time you get patient employees that take the time to consistently check on you and help you make the best choice, even after being there for so long.
