After taking almost a year to round up 11 Birth, Marriage and Death certificates from different counties and states, I was semi-terrified at the thought of handing them all over to a stranger to have them Apostilled in Sacramento. I contacted Terrie who quickly boosted my confidence by asking questions that made it clear she had both experience and concern with ensuring that the documents would be processed without any issues. One of the documents was from out of state and would need to be handled separately and Terrie quickly connected me with a resource and coordinated the exchange. On a Thursday, Terrie came to my office where I handed everything over. The following Thursday all 11 documents were in my mailbox with Apostilles attached. Terrie gets the job done. Had such a problem with apostille in Sacramento. I used a notary from UPS in Sausalito, documents got returned because the signature of the notary I used didn't Mach signature Sacramento had on file !!!! no idea what that was about. Than used a notary from Wells Fargo Bank , and again documents returned because the notary didn't exist in their database, which supposedly gets updated. Long story short , Terrie is the solution. Based on my recent experience with Terrie I learned an important lesson - there is a HUGE difference in the quality of service among notaries. A few months ago my husband and I had to have our signatures notarized on some important legal papers. We went to a random UPS or Kinkos type store. While the clerk was a nice enough guy and was in fact a notary he seemed confused about the lay out of the signature pages of our documents. It took a really long time and a phone call to our lawyer before we got it all straightened out. It just added some unnecessary stress and complication. Last week I contacted Terrie to help me with the documents for the closing of the sale of my house in Denver. I am so glad that I did! She contacted my agent and escrow officer and took care of everything. All I had to do was schedule a time for her to meet me so I could sign everything. She arrived with all the papers. She carefully explained every document to me so I understood what I was signing. The whole process was easy and I felt confident knowing it was all being done right.
