I've bought numerous cakes here. I buy one whenever I come to Athens for my regular doctors' appointments (I live 65 miles away). The cakes are delicious. I usually get the red velvet or the lemon. This time I got a white chocolate raspberry. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The shopkeepers are very friendly and professional. Called in advance to order three bunch, lit, cakes, blueberry and flavor from this location. The associate who answered the phone advised me that they would not take an order over the phone for those because there would be plenty of them available when I came in on the Saturday before Mother's Day, I advised him that I would feel better if I paid over the phone and had them set aside for me I was advised that they could not do that and to worry because there would be plenty of them available . I advised them I would be coming in at 2 PM. Should I come now instead of going the next day? They said no worries sir. You can come in the next day at 2 PM and we will definitely have enough there for you. I arrived at 2 PM on the dot as I advised I would and of course they were completely sold out of the blue berry, but like cakes. Now this wouldn't be an issue on any other day because I would just buy another flavor, but tomorrow is Mother's Day, and it is my wife's favorite cake and that is what my son wanted to give his mother. When I advise the management that I had that call recorded and that I was interested in seeing if there were something I could do. they offered to sell me a $55 cake that's about a 67% increase in price from what it would've been to get the other ones that I had called in advised I was coming attempted to order attempted to pay in advance or even come in early the day before. So now, my son's unhappy, my three year old son is incredibly unhappy because the one thing you wanted to get his mom for Mother's Day. We could knock it because we would like to buy this staff here. I don't know about you, but it's unfortunate that we are kind of stuck because they are the only bakery who makes these in the entire city. I truly wish there was another option. It would be my recommendation that may be a Publix would be a better option because I've never had their staff lie to me. read more

As a local google guide, our big family LOVES trying new places. We stopped by last week after church to realize this establishment is closed on Sunday, which we have ZERO problems with, kudos to them. We went home and put off going until another day. My sister brought us several yesterday to our house, WOW!!! I think we all forgot the word cupcake!!! These are fabulous!!! Lemon, red velvet, chocolate, vanilla, she brought us a variety, & they are incredible!!! I've already heard of the local owner/operator getting involved in making certain others have a great experience. I will say, THAT will make them huge here in our town. I am shocked at how good these cakes are. Almost every Bundt cake I've ever bought or tried to make has been dry, but these are incredibly moist with just the right amount of sweetness. They have a seasonal flavor called "Blueberry Bliss" that is so flavorful. And the bundtinis (cupcake size Bundt cakes) are perfect to bring to a party. I was never a fan of bundt cakes and hesitated to try it. They brought some into my job at uga when they had a grand opening and I couldn't believe how amazing they tasted. The cakes are so moist and soft and full of flavor. The icing is just enough we're it's not overbearing. I've tried almost every flavor but my favorite is the white chocolate raspberry. The minis are great for parties as cupcakes. I can honestly say I've been getting these cakes for any special occasion I have. The only downside is it's a little pricier than a supermarket cake but it's well worth it for the wonderful taste. read more

I was excited to see that there is a Nothing Bundt Cakes in Athens and finally stopped by to try it out. Holy crap. I'm almost sorry I did. I think I'm going to have to make it a regular stop. I notice they are open pretty early (9 AM) compared to most dessert places which I like, since I am usually in the area pretty early. Was promptly greeted by Macy who helped me choose flavors and was very nice. I got the chocolate chocolate chip for my husband and white chocolate raspberry for myself. We each loved what we tried and would both return (again and again.) I would say that I am looking forward to trying other flavors, but mine was so good that I think I'd just get the same next time. The items are a bit pricey, but are the equivalent of about 1.5 cupcakes in size, and I have paid as much or more for smaller and less tasty items, so I think that the size and quality justify the occasional splurge. Was very excited to go and purchase several bundt cakes for our family's Christmas party. As I was in the area doing last minute Christmas shopping, this was my last stop before returning home. I needed to use the restroom rather quickly and ask to please use their facility before selecting my cakes. The girl behind the counter told me no, I again pleaded with her and explained that I would be purchasing a lot of cakes but really needed to use the restroom, where again she replied no it was for employees only. I told her that she just lost my business and left. This is very disappointing for a patron who wants to spend money at your store and you do not provide a restroom. read more

I have loved this place in the past, however I placed a delivery order after a family members unexpected surgery, and they didn't deliver it because no one was home. They then said it would be another $15 delivery fee to get it there. I live out of town and have no one to pick it up and that is all they could do for me. So disappointing. read more

Didn't realize this place was here until I received in the mail a coupon for a free bundtlet. Today being my birthday, I decided to stop by and try it. Talked with a nice young man and was discussing sizes and pricing with him thinking I'd take a large cake to a potluck in a couple of weeks. Had my choice for today's freebie narrowed down to two flavors when some woman came out of the back saying the coupon had expired and did I want to buy one anyway. I don't know how she knew it was expired as I also had a second coupon that I just received two days ago in an introductory gift basket for volunteerism but had not mentioned. It never occurred to me that the one Bundt sent me in the mail was already expired when I received it. After her rudeness (on my birthday, no less), I decided to put the non-expired one into the recycling.
