But then, at 4:30 PM on the day it was supposed to be delivered, I get a call from the store saying the order had "just come up in their system." At that point, they gave me two choices--both equally frustrating. Option 1: get a few extra chocolate-covered strawberries if I waited another day for delivery (which completely defeats the purpose since it was for her birthday). Option 2: have it delivered either before or after 8 PM with no compensation whatsoever. I chose the second option, hoping they could at least deliver it late that night. But then--another call at 6:30 PM. Now they're telling me it's impossible to deliver at all. Their solution? "We'll throw in 12 extra strawberries and deliver it tomorrow." Honestly, that felt like a weak attempt to make up for it. I didn't spend $180 just to get a few extra strawberries and a late delivery. I was counting on this extra surprise to make her day feel special by have something nice being delivered to her while i was working and came home with the rest of her surprises. Sure, maybe I should've ordered even earlier, but the app literally allows same-day deliveries--so I trusted it would be handled. Clearly, that was a mistake. Bottom line: don't trust the app alone. Call the store directly to confirm your order. And even then, be prepared for last-minute calls telling you they can't deliver, with minimal effort to make things right. This whole experience was a huge let down.

So you know where your product that's coming to your mouth is actually coming from :-) Now how about a couple of these crazy bonuses: daily free dog Sundays everyday! Bring your own banana and get a half off a banana split! Tell them your favorite flavor and since flavors are brought in seasonally, they will let you know when your favorite flavor comes back :-)
