Today, is my birthday. I was pleasantly surprised to find this store very clean and as you enter you are created with a happy smile from two awesome young adults. I remember the Huntington Beach, California store as they opened. The customer service was non existent here where I least expected it it was the opposite. I wanted to try the Pecan Praline but it was sold out. My mom is a big pecan lover so we wasn't sure what to choose. So I got the limited time lemon raspberry and insisted my mom try the red velvet which has chocolate chips in it. The shop was clean and organized. They don't have eating utensils if you want to drive in right away. That kinda sucked. My mom warmed her red velvet bundtlette in the microwave once we returned home. So they are microwave friendly. Nothing Bundt Cakes has been my sweets craving ever since I hit my second trimester of pregnancy. My favorite so far, which has been the flavor of the month in January 2020, which is Snickerdoodle. Skipping the whole line. What's sad is the cashier had NOTHING TO SAY. She could have said sir there's others waiting or something. Their approach is very intimidating to a new customer or someone who may not be familiar with their products. They do not address the next customer in line according to their own illustrated line flow. They walk away & go to the back without acknowledging your presence or letting the customer next in the line know. Then the other clerk helps the person in the other line without acknowledging that you were standing there first before their coworker walked away. They need to just do better. Walked in knowing what I wanted, wasn't greeted or helped by anyone and was so confused about where the line was to checkout. What should of taken 5 minutes took about 20. The cashier even left mid transaction to do another transaction while I was trying to buy my Bundtlet. Overall it didn't seem like the employees or manager knew what they were doing or they just get too stressed and overwhelmed when they have six people in the store trying to buy their product. Overall the cakes are amazing but the customer service is mediocre. The young lady who assisted me was very detached during the transaction and severely lacking in customer service oriented communication skills. When I said thank you at the end of my transaction, she said "uhuh" and asked the couple behind me how she could help them. I had even tried to make small talk while she got the cake. I perceived that it irritated her. Her response and body language made me feel dismissed, unappreciated and not like a valued customer. In addition to that, was also no clear line to stand in for assistance so I accidentally went in front of customers who were already there before me.
