ordered 2 dozen bundts delivered as a thank you gift. apparently they just use 3rd party services for delivery (not mentioned on order page) and the idiot they sent left an order sitting outside a random side door rather than using a doorbell and delivering to the main door. called and spoke with Donna where she spent about 15 minutes telling me how it wasn't their fault. have been using this location for 8 years now but you just permenantly lost me as a customer. yes it's nice that you finally offered to redeliver order correctly but after 15 min of being told it's not your fault, I will not be back. read more

This is ridiculous and is an example of an organization that doesn't think of their customers other than their profitability. My co worker was the one who introduced me to these tasty little treats and I've been hooked ever since. I have been raving to my boyfriend about them. So we decided to stop by for the first time together. We were greeted right away. The store is small but bright, clean and cute. To our surprise, we were given the cutest bag cooler for purchasing 4. We were told for future purchases if we bought 3, the 4th would be free. Not only is a the cooler bag useful but I'm all for reusable! I appreciate the "sweet" deal, locks me in as a returning customer ;) We got pecan praline, lemon, white chocolate raspberry and blueberry bliss. One bundt cake was enough to split between 4 people to try. Everyone's favorite was the white chocolate raspberry. Moist, soft and fluffy. Picked up my order and I pointed out that the icing was of the cake was destroyed because of the placement of the picks for the banner. I was not satisfied with how the cake looks like that's why I said something about it, but the staff who was helping me asked another staff ( not sure if she was the manager) just said " we try but that's just how it is. " Gone are the days that the customer satisfaction is the priority. Even if you are not satisfied you just have to take what you paid for as it is. No apologies from the store. We wanted to order mini bundts for a party but requested to have a few of the gluten free ones boxed separately due to an allergy and celiac disease. They out right refused and said it was not their policy to do that. Why offer a gluten free option if you can't accommodate a simple boxing request? They advised it was due to a policy, but it honestly is just laziness. Instead of getting a sale, they lost one over a bag or box. While I understand it's not a gluten free facility, it doesn't take more than an extra moment to take an extra precaution when boxing up GF items that are offered by a location. I came to the Geneva location for two reasons: close to home and a coupon for a free bundlet. A delightful salesperson greeted me at the door and a free sample was available to try. I looked over my options as well as the sizes and decided to take four bundlets home. Why bundlets over a full blown bundt cake? I want to try different flavors and I am afraid if I brought home a full blown cake I would eat the whole thing in one day. For the past two evenings my wife and I split a bundlet for dessert. They are moist and delicious. Since they are individually wrapped in their own containers, they stay fresh and we share them. For the two of us the bundlet is great and I see more in the future. I ordered a cake for a surprise birthday celebration and asked if they deliver. They said they did so I scheduled the delivery for 2p that Saturday, Jan 18. The woman I spoke with hesitated a little and asked if it could come earlier. I explained it was a surprise but said it would probably be alright if it came between 12and 2p. My confirmation email also stated 2p delivery. Imagine how disappointing it was to get the delivery at 10:30a! (The birthday surprise was ruined as HE was the one who answered the door) Now... let me say that the cake was beautiful and absolutely delicious (praline pecan)... and because it was so good, I wasn't going to write a review about the mistake in delivery bc I do realize that human errors DO happen, and everything else about this cake was really good. However.... I called to let them know what happened that next Monday bc I do believe they needed to be aware of it so they canbe more careful next time. I was very nice, told them the cake was amazing but the error in delivery was something to be aware of. The girl I spoke with told me they only had one delivery person so they had to make a route that made sense and couldn't do specific delivery times. I told her I understood that but then they really shouldn't promise delivery times... I would have picked the cake up instead. No apologies, just again told me why they cant deliver at a certain time... I felt like she was arguing with me rather than simply saying I'm sorry we screwed up. I've been to the store in Santa Monica and I have to say the Sherman Oaks spot is WINNING! The individual bundt cakes seem bigger and the staff just seems happier to be there. The store, as stated, is small, but we weren't swarmed with employees--when we've been in, the employees are trying to keep up with answering questions & checking people out! We've tried about six different kinds and they're ALL good. Personal fave so far is the cinnamon, mainly because of the icing--thick like a cream cheese without the cream cheese "tang." The only downside is that they're closed on Sundays, which I totally get, but it always seems like Sundays are the days we're going by and saying, "Oh, crap, they're not open." I ordered a dozen Bundtinis for my mom's birthday. I ordered online and loved being able to customize my order to include her favorites-lemon and white chocolate raspberry. The cakes arrived on time and were packaged nicely. Because it was a contactless delivery, the driver called my mom to let her know where he had left her cakes. Very friendly staff who were more than willing to assist me with everything I needed and answer any questions. So nice to feel valued as a customer, my only suggestion would be to maybe give the customer a little time to look around by themselves. It could just be me, but I do like to look around without having to feel obligated to talk to an employee who is kind of hovering near by. With that being said the 2 ladies were incredibly kind and I'm pretty sure I'm being overly critical :) Regardless, the lemon and chocolate chocolate chip is where it's at! Let's start out by saying the bundt cakes are amazing. Best ever. But they need a lesson in how train the employees. You walk in, immediately there are five more employees working then needed making it feel crowded in an already tiny store. Then a worker is breathing down your neck the entire time asking if you know what you want. Yes I know what I want Susan, you don't have to stand next to me asking me questions until I tell you. After an unnecessary conversation with the employee who won't let you look at the cakes in peace, you finally check out. The girls working continue making the most fake conversation I've ever heard, and I just want my bundt cake. Like Jesus Christ I just came here for a bundt cake and all I got was claustrophobia due to a tiny store, unnecessary amounts of people working, and employees not leaving you to look in peace. The atmosphere always drives me away from coming here which is a shame because the cakes are so good. read more
