After moving further out from town to actually in Katy - you think you should support local business- I will never support this location again. I'll go back to the Memorial store every time. The manager also suggested early on I bring it back Monday to exchange it - it's for a birthday - what do you expect us to serve ? We've always loved the cake at Nothing Bundt Cakes and have used them for several events. However, use caution if ordering delivery. Or perhaps try a different location. On 5/12/22 I placed a delivery order for: One dozen bundtini cakes with toppers $31.50 Large balloons bouquet (10 balloons) $23.99 Delivery Fee $26.50 Tax $1.98. I scheduled the delivery for 5/13/22 between 2pm and 6pm. On 5/13 the delivery arrived at 4:30 pm. Upon arrival, one of the balloons in my bouquet popped, the driver shrugged his shoulders and left, didn't say a word about it. My complaint isn't about the balloon, but it is part of my experience. I immediately opened the box to check the cakes. I was hosting a birthday party for my daughter, and her guests were set to arrive between 5 & 6 pm. I opened the box and found that all of the cakes had come out of their places and were in a pile, upside down, on one side of the box. In addition the icing was completely melted, so we couldn't save them. Icing was smeared all over the box. They had clearly been in a hot car for quite some time. SEE PICTURE... I immediately called the Nothing Bundt Cakes store at 4:36pm on 5/13/22. Initially I was told to expect a full refund, a few moments later I was told that the refund would be a store credit. I explained that we had guests arriving and couldn't leave to pick up more cakes for the party (which is why I had scheduled a delivery). They did not offer a replacement delivery or any other option. I offered to send photos of the damaged cakes. I was told that once they received the email, I would get an immediate reply. I sent the email, I did not get a reply. On 5/14 the store emailed me requesting pictures. I sent the picture again, along with the previously sent email. After three or 4 emails, I suggested they check their junk mail, as my emails might have been blocked due to the picture I had attached. On 5/16 they finally responded offering a store credit of $31.50. I told them at minimum I should be refunded $58 to my original form of payment for the cakes and delivery. The cakes were unusable. They did not fufill the online order agreement. I shouldn't have to pay for delivery of unusable cakes. They said they would either give me a $58 credit or refund $48 to my original form of payment, because there's a $10 processing fee. Why should I be penalized for this? This wasn't my fault, they didn't deliver the agreed upon order. Nothing bundt cakes response to me was "We are being generous to give you in store credit for $58." My response "The bundtini's and delivery fees are what I'm asking for a refund on. Which is what I reported within moments of delivery last Friday.  I wouldn't have ordered balloons without the cakes. You are not being generous, at this point you've taken my money and not delivered the promised product." I went on to tell them that they are basically committing theft. They refuse to refund the $58 and have stopped replying to my requests via email. I've filed a complaint with my bank and the bbb. So in addition to taking my money and not delivering the order as promised, I have now spent several hours replying to their emails, notifying the bbb, and the public. All this to say, you cannot depend on delivery, customer service, or even empathy from the staff at this location. My daughter had no cake for her birthday party, and that's the saddest part of the whole mess. read more

We are lucky enough to get the bundtinis at work or I probably would have never tried this place. I mean really It's a Bundt cake. Could it really be that good? Well take one bite and you will be sold on it. Seldom are there any left at the office but I was able to take a lemon one home to my wife which she loved. This gave me the idea of getting her birthday cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes. I chose the 8 inch lemon Happy Bundt Day cake and a dozen variety bundtinis. This worked great. My wife got her lemon cake and anyone who wasn't a fan of the lemon could chose between the chocolate, raspberry or white chocolate bundtinis. They were a total hit at the party. The 8 inch did appear smaller than I thought it would but it was large enough for our crowd and the icing was the bomb. Lucky for me we have some left overs for me to enjoy. read more

Full disclosure: I'm not a huge dessert fan, but this? So worth it. We stopped by Nothing Bundt Cakes on a Monday about an hour before they closed. I'd sampled their bundtinis at a 5K event a couple of years ago and remember their cake being dreamy. It still is. Since I couldn't order the variety of bundtinis I wanted to sample, we settled on the following bundlets ($24'ish total for 6 bundlets): Lemon Raspberry (Meh. Not much raspberry filling, and what there was was a bit "seedy". My least favorite. Red Velvet: One of my favorites. Not too sweet and there are chocolate chips in it. Bonus. White White Chocolate: This ties as a favorite with the red velvet. Not too sweet, just a rich, simple flavor. Pecan Praline: Very good, although I didn't really find any pecans in this. Cinnamon Swirl: This was just okay. Not enough cinnamon for my taste. No matter the flavor we got, the cake itself was moist, tender, and delicious. I had to look up how to store the leftovers, as we only at a 1/4 to 1/2 half of a bundlet at a time. Simply refrigerate in the containers they come in and remove from fridge for about 2 hours before diving in. I thought refrigerating them would make them dry, but no; fresh, moist, soft, and dreamy when directions were followed. We dealt with a lovely young woman who helped us tremendously. We will be back, but will pre-order a dozen bundtinis of our favorite varieties! read more

As I was in here the other day buying my cake. I asked if they could do the less frosting option. The cashier said yes. When they went to the back to put in the order, some lady with a stern face and voice came out telling the cashier other-wise in front of the customers. After seeing this, I told them that it's not a big deal, and that it's ok. I will take a regular frosting cake. Cake itself was good. Sometimes, we find the frosting a bit too much. Bundtlet for $3.99. So good... My favorite cupcake/cake place. My go-to is WHITE CHOCOLATE RASPBERRY and my hub's fav is LEMON. The cream cheese frosting is definitely sweet, and the cake is moist, dense, and full of flavor. I love desserts so I have no problem with how sweet everything is. It's actually a decent size, so I'll eat about 1/3 of it at a time (portion control) :) it's a good size for 2 people. FREE BIRTHDAY BUNDTLET WHEN YOU SIGN Up! Yays: Delicious bundt cakes! We love the lemon (not usually a lemon fan but this is good), white chocolate raspberry (on the sweeter side) and carrot cake (not overly sweet). Can't decide? Get the Bundtinis for $20 to sample their best sellers (a dozen of mini bundt cakes in total). Excellent customer service from Ms. Paulie. She is very sweet and helpful! It's because of her great service that will keep me going back. Nays: The owner doesn't offer a military discount unlike all the other Nothing Bundt Cakes stores. (They're individually owned so it's at their discretion.) We love places that support military families but too bad this isn't one of them. Tips: It's usually sold cold out of the refrigerator. If you want the texture of the cake to soften to how it is at the store when you sampled it, then leave it out at room temperature for about an hour. It's best to be eaten the same day if not the next to ensure it's still moist. read more

Well, it was an error on my part! Obviously, I NEVER hit submit! The place was super busy but I was able to speak to the manager after I placed the order online again! HORRIBLE! I walked In to order 10"Marble and 10" Red Velvet on a Friday at 3pm. Attendant at front started to grab the mini bundt cakes. I had to correct her. Then she said ok, let me go get the Marble. She went to back grabbed cakes and boxed them up. I left to get ready for my daughters 18th Birthday party at a venue. We arrived at party to set up, low and behold it was the WRONG cake. It was a LEMON CAKE! Needless to say, I was so upset, took pictures and video of cake. So, Saturday I called location at La Centerra Katy to only hear the "manager" tell me I should have not eaten it and sent email Friday at the time I opened a cake. I had 30 guests and I was not about to NOT serve cake ! As of now, a 2nd so called manager stood in agreement with first manager and told me to BRING THE PORTION WE DID NOT EAT. Always a favorite stop! This visit I got the white chocolate raspberry and red velvet. Family consumed them quickly, barely got a bite myself. My favorite is the lemon. Bundt is the new cupcake! I tried the carrot cake and red velvet single-serving bundt cakes. Both were good, but I'd say that the fact that they felt the need to put chocolate chips in their red velvet makes me think it would have been weak otherwise. Are these better than cupcakes? I guess that depends on where you are getting the cupcakes. I will say that if you are torn between this establishment and the cupcake place in La Centerra, then you should go with this place. I have to knock them down a notch for not selling their really small bundt cakes individually and only in a pack of a dozen. They should rethink this as the individual cakes are much larger than a typical cupcake and that almost turned me away. So try selling them in half dozens or solo for those of us a bit more calorie conscious. read more

I give them 5 stars for their delicious cakes. What's disappointing is their business hours. That's why I took away 1 star. They close at 7:00 every day, including Friday and Saturday. At LaCenterra, there are people barely making it to dinner at that time and I would've loved to had enjoyed a bundt cake while I listed to the live band just outside, but sadly I couldn't because they closed so early. Wowsers my sister has been raving about these cakes being the best she's ever had and I can see why. Moist, decadent, and not too heavy on the sugar and icing, these cakes are definitely one of the best I've had. They offer a variety of sizes - 10", 8", bundtlet singles, and mini bundtinis. Protip: the bundtlets are pretty large (enough to be shared by at least 2 normal people) and they're only $3.99! Much more worth than a cupcake and a treat for your tastebuds. The store itself is really cute and they always have free samples for your convenience. There's no tables or chairs inside to enjoy your cake, making the only option to-go, but LaCenterra is gorgeous and filled with outdoor seating if you're looking to hang around. Holy crap. First time I went here, I sampled the Marble bundt and loved it. After reading menu I decided on the pecan bundt which frankly was a disappointment compared to the marble but was still amazing. Everyone in my family hates cake but we all loved this. Tried this month's flavor - peanut butter chocolate chip - and that was a winner as well! They often have generous samples to try. I am giving it a 5 star rating for the taste because they are perfect and the service is great. My only issue with the place is you cannot purchase the bundtinis individually (they sell for $18.50/dozen). The bundlet size for $3.99 is good but it is really too much for even two people (my opinion) and my family of four likes to try different flavors. This review is really about the service I received yesterday. When I got there, the young blond girl with glasses was nice and got my order put in. I ordered dozen bundtini and picked out what I wanted. Due to COVID, she said it will take about 15 mins and I should wait in my car and she will call me when it's ready. I got to my car around 4:05pm. I said sure, no problem. My car was parked right in front of the store since it was pretty empty when I went. As I was waiting, I counted about 14 people and it was only 4 customers each time. Did it get a bit busy, yeah but there were two workers. My point was that I sat in my car for 45 minutes for something that took 15 mins to make due to the lack of care to call the customer to let them know their order was ready. I was a bit upset. All the customers that ordered( since I can see through the store) majority ordered something that was already made. So I know, it shouldn't take the workers in the back 40 mins to make my order. I called the store at 4:45pm and asked about my ordered. They said it was done. The young, blond girl saw me walked in and said sorry, it got busy. That was her excuse for not calling me and made me wait 45 mins! Picking up the phone and calling the customer to say their order is ready shouldn't take more than 30 seconds. So for something that didn't take long to do, caused me to waste my time waiting. Had I not call, she probably wouldn't even call me back. Nonetheless, I left pretty angry. read more

Pretty much can't go wrong w/ this place. I've had the same experience and cakes pretty much taste the same universally. The service at this new Katy location was decent...smiles, polite, and efficient. Plus got a free bundt for my hubby's bday (w/ his ID)...ask and ye shall receive :). I always get white chocolate raspberry and husband n daughter always get red velvet. I really wish they'd get the lemon raspberry again! All the flavors I've had are pretty moist the featured flavor is peanut butter chocolate chip...sounds interesting, but wasn't in the mood for peanut butter this am.
